Hello.
The plugins doesn’t seem to work at all on my end (WP 4.7 PHP 5.5.28) when updating to anything above version 2.1.
After the update the widget vanishes from my site entirely and I’m unable to bring it back – there’s no Stat Counter widget in the settings.
Thus I recommend against upgrading above version 2.1.

I as many other wordpress blog owners, have only one online user and that in my case, would be myself.
Because of this, I don’t need the “Online now” feature and would like to ask if it is possible for myself to remove that added feature from the .php file and if so how or an updated version you would consider to have the “Online now” feature as an option to show/hide?

The plugin is simple and easy to use.
After installation you will be redirected to your widgets page, you will need only to drag and drop the Stat Counter box to your sidebar in order to show.
