As of yesterdays update this plugin is no longer free. I had it on my website and it disappeared with this update. All the settings were erased and it won’t activate unless you buy a license key from some fucking organization called Freemium.
No advanced warning or notification from Station Pro
Even support is now paid, which is why they will never respond to this message.

Considering that there isn’t much on offer in the way of plugins that play Icecast 2 streams that I can find I found this one to do the job quite well. The sound quality is good and it seems to work pretty reliably. Although there is no autoplay not everyone wants there bandwidth used up straight away so I’m guessing this is a sensibility thing but it might be nice to have the option or a time-limited play-in.
On the whole a great plugin for free so personally I don’t see why some people complain about this one.
PS. I’ve not bought the upgrade so I can only comment on the free version here.

Free version – does not function

DEV will do all he can to get you to purchase the PREMIUM version
WARNING this behaves in exactly the same way as the FREE version without the dev link..
Also note – the DEV promises refund but as is evident NONE are forthcoming..
The WP community can well do without DEVs that behave in this fashion.

I suggest Soundwave theme, money well spent, has a very userfriendly Radio and Audio player installed. Proper.
Any ideas how to get my money back would be appreciated.

Disabled all the other plugins and still couldn’t get it to stop interfering with the theme. As much as I would love to use the plugin, having content on my site is more important then a shoutcast player. This doesn’t mean it will not work with your theme but it just doesn’t work with mine.
