I want to adopt this plugin and maintain it. Waiting for your response.

Hi,
I’m just interested to use different menus on specific pages within my wordpress installation.
On some pages I load a different theme and therefore I would also like to change the menu that is displayed in the sticky header. As I use a different theme I could simply add some code to the functions.php if there exists a hook to do stuff like this.
Can you give me a hint whether this is possible?
Many thanks in advance and best regards!
Hi,
This plugin works really well on desktops, but we found a small issue on touchscreen devices:
If the parent menu is linked to a page, a single tap will open that page. It does not allow you to select a child page from the drop-down. Is there any way (CSS code or something) that allows the drop-down menu to show with a single click?
Any help will be gratefully appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
Taz.
Hello,
How can I put an arbitrary menu in Stycky Header?
(When I change the menu name in the Sticky’s dropdown list, the main menu of the website is also changing. And that’s not good for me.)
Hi,
I really want to change the font and the font-size so it matches the font I got in my original header. But how?

The sticky header is stuck below the footer and only the menu bar follows you down the page. How can I remove this?

Hi,
is it possible, that the Sticky Header slides slower?
Could it be made with css?
Thank you in advance for your answer!
Regards,
Tom
I’m trying to put a hover state on the sticky header links and nothing is happening. Here is the code I’m trying to use:
#thsp-sticky-header a {
text-decoration: none;
}
#thsp-sticky-header a:hover {
text-color: #FF0066;
}
https://www.countonsuccess.com
Only thing that shows up on my stick header is the name of my company. ( don’t want the photo there… but do want the menu
The ONLY menu I have is “x” and when I go into customizing it shows up as the menu.
I’m lost regarding that to do next.
I have removed and added the plug in back
I am unable to disable the header on mobile devices. I have set the “hide screen if narrower…” to various numbers and tested them out on my phone. From 2000 to -4000. I have it now at 600 px and the results don’t change.
If the pixels of the smart screens are reaching the same as macs and laptops, this feature won’t do justice. Please could you advise which is the best way to resolve this?
I would like to add a mobile friendly interface to the mobile devices instead. Thus I would like to remove the header from there.
Thanks in advance
I would like to have it so when I am in the top of the page (where the header is fully hidden now) only the background is transparent, but the logo and menu stay visible against the normal background.
For reference I want the top of my website to look like this https://grab.by/LrZI (from airbnb.com) but then when you start scrolling down, I want the black bar/background to appear behind the logo and menu and remain there until they scroll back to the top.
The top of my website looks like this now: https://grab.by/LrZU
And then when I scroll I get this: https://grab.by/LrZW
But I want the logo and menu to show in the top of the page all the time, and only the black background to be hidden when scrolled all the way up…
If anyone could help me achieve this effect, I would be very much appreciated.
Excellent plugin guys. 5 stars..
I have Optimize Press theme on my website. However, I only want the sticky theme to appear on 8 of the website pages.
Can that be done? i.e. I designate which pages the sticky navigation show up?
If so, how do I do it?
I installed the Sticky Header plugin v 1.2.2 on two sites:
https://www.werun4all.nl (WP 4.3.1) and https://www.vrouwleentje.nl (WP 4.2.5)
I like it, but how kan I give the menu items a bigger font? More in general Sticky Header is so modest that visitors that I know personally didn’t notice it until I told them about it.
hey there,
i would like to use your plugin for a specific use,
i need that when the user will scroll down the sticky head will popup – and what i need is that – when the user will click on the sticky header (when using a cell phone) it will lead him to an auto dial.

Hi there, I am using your plugin for sticky header and it’s awesome. I just have one question, can it somehow be removed from mobile devices? It looks funky on my phone view.
thanks!
Hello!
I have same problem as here.
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/menu-does-not-show?replies=5
My menu it doesn’t exist in normal mode but it shows in customize mode.
I’m using OptimizePress 2.4 as theme and WordPress 4.3.
Look how the code is looking in customize mode (after a click on the plugin’s “Settings” button)

Lorem button

Lorem ipsum button

This is how it looks in normal view:

What can I do to have menu back?
Thank you in advance!
Victor
Is it possible to reverse the effect and hide the header on scrolling down
I’d like to achieve something like this:
Hi there,
I’m have been trying to fix this issue but there’s no luck. It works scrolling to a specific pixel to show the sticky menu but can I hide it after a few scrolls down the page?
Eg: Make Visible at 1950px than Make Invisible at 2800px
Hopefully my explanation is clear.
Thank you very much.
HI
Can you combine this plugin with a header content slider?
How can I change the font size of the Site Title Name in the sticky header
Hi!
Great plugin!
I need to show sub-menus in Sticky Header. Is it possible? If not yet or in a future update, any hack to show it? (Like a Dropdown menu).
Thanks in advance.
Hello there. I’m currently trying out your plugin and it would seem to work fine with my theme (pinboard) if it just did not show every menu item vertically (not horizontally).
If tried by changing the px the menu takes, and in 200 I got 1 line for the logo, 1 for 2 elements and a 3rd line for the other 3 elements making up the whole menu. If I changed to 100, 300, 500, it all got back to one line per each element.
(I’ve posted this very same thread in your own forum)
Thanks!
I want to edit the style that the menu appears as once it has been stuck to the top of the page so that it matches the look of the normal menu when the page has not been scrolled down. How can I go about doing this?
I am fairly new to wordpress and I am currently experimenting with the features on offer so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Hi guys,
since we needed sub-menus for your great Sticky Header plugin we simply added them. I would like to hand over our solution to you (Dragan and Slobodan) to check it and maybe include it in your next version.
For sub-menus in action see qudosoft.de.
Here is how we made sub-menus work:
/*
* Sticky Header sub-menu
*/
#thsp-sticky-header{
padding-bottom: 0px;
}
#thsp-sticky-header .sub-menu {
margin: 0 auto !important;
padding: 0 !important;
position: absolute;
top: 46px;
display: none;
background-color: #fff;
border: 1px solid #eaeaea;
border-top: 0px;
width: 220px;
}
#thsp-sticky-header .sub-menu li.menu-item a{
line-height: normal !important;
color: #6C6F70 !important;
}
#thsp-sticky-header .sub-menu li.menu-item:hover a{
color: #ffcb05 !important;
}
#thsp-sticky-header #thsp-sticky-header-menu > li{
padding-bottom: 8px;
}
#thsp-sticky-header .sub-menu li.menu-item {
display: block !important;
text-align: left !important;
margin: 0px !important;
}
#thsp-sticky-header .sub-menu li.menu-item a{
padding: 15px 20px !important;
}
#thsp-sticky-header .menu li:hover .sub-menu {
display: block;
}
Hello, great plugin ! Thanks for it ! I will rate it.

hi
Thank you for making this great plugin!
How can I change the plug in css to make it the same as the menu that is build in the theme https://www.ads-software.com/themes/simply-vision
Like when I scroll down it comes neatly down and such but I want the plug to have the same effect/look as the theme.
thank you for your time
Many many thanks for the plug-in!!
I’d like to change the current page title in the sticky navigation such as the style of my normal navigation. When I add CSS:
#thsp-sticky-header li a:active {
font-weight: 600 !important;
}
nothing changes. Anyone else had this issue / fixed it?
