Hide the two button on the admin bar generated by this plugin

Hi,
the plugin looks nice but I’m disturbed by the two top admin bar buttons:

The stop bad bots and the Site Health issues.

I checked the WordPress log and I have nothing to fix so I want hide this two buttons.

Visitor’s log too big.

Although set to 1 day in ‘how long to keep visitors log file’ the log is more like 3 days, over 13,000 entries and over 5mb in the database.
I don’t need that amount of information. Is there a way to get it to actually limit itself to 1 day, or a set number of entries (say 250), or switch it off?

Hello!

Something weird is happening. If i keep the plugin active, WooCommerce users get the following error on login:
You don’t have authorisation to view this page.
HTTP ERROR 403

In the past I didn’t have this problem, but it’s happening now. No changes in the WP are made, just updates and it was fine before.

Any ideas what should I probably change in the settings to fix it?

Bad bot stopped only partially

Hi, I installed this plugin in an attempt to stop increasing traffic from a certain user agent (go-http-client). I added it to the table and in the visits log I can see that access is denied for this agent. But when I check the apache log file there are a lot more requests from this agent that are apparently not affected by the plugin (and don’t show up in the plugin’s vistits log). See examples:

affected and listed in visits log
123.186.73.87 – – [17/Apr/2024:00:43:30 +0200] “GET /motion-dance-studio/ HTTP/1.1” 403 215 “-” “Go-http-client/1.1”

not affected and not listed in visits log

(this last one 100 times in less than 2 minutes, by the way – IP addresses change continuously)

What could be a possible explanation for this and is there maybe some setting that would make the plugin more effective?

Hi, I see this error every once any a while within a day on my home page. The bottom line of the page goes to the top and there is a Loading sign surrounding by a circle

To get rid of, I clear out all the cache, then after a while, it comes back. I have tried various types of cache plugins and with and without cloudflare. Seems to happen less often when stopbots deactivated. Cant guarantee. Any ideas?

What does ‘masked’ mean in the visitor log?

I’m confused by ‘masked’ in the visitor log. There are some entries that appear to be normal non-bot humans which are marked as ‘masked’ and also one bot dlvr.it which is disabled in the table (it views the feed so that it can post to Facebook)

What are they seeing on a page? Can dlvr.it read the feed?

I know it says in the overview:
Masked: The actual page content is not being displayed. (not available in Minimal Engine Management option)
– but what does that actually mean in practice?

Should I switch to Minimal Engine Management?

Unable to rollback as previous versions not available but previous version 10.11 fortunately was found in backups, so I’ve uploaded it and it is working.

Hi, spotted a large number of amazon related bots – Hostname – *.amazonaws.com* 14000 in last week, Hostname – *.crawl.amazonbot.amazon* 513 in last week. Was killing the server so blocked using wordfence at this stage. Thought useful to know.

Re-activate the plugin clashed my site

I have been using the plugin for a few years. Today I de-activated the plugin to do some troubleshooting. Upon re-activate the plugin, I noticed it also installed the anti-hacker plugin without asking my consent, if there is one I must have missed it.

After that, I encountered an Internal Server error, and both backend and front end failed to load. I have to resolve the issue by deactivate the anti-hacker plugin through FTP.

I am using the latest WordPress version, and PHP 8.2.7. I am also using Post SMTP plugin, not sure if this is related to the issue. The following errors is recorded:

Big headache using this plugin

I’ve installed this plugin, but I’m not sure whether it’s a virus or not.

I already have security software, but installing this plugin also installs the Anti Hacker plugin.

Then the top bar displays 4 large, aggressive red rectangles, two of which display errors, completely useless because they don’t give any solution to fix them.

And these aren’t major errors, they’re due to the plugins or templates as far as I understand, so they’re problems that need to be sorted out by the creators of these plugins.

I imagine they’re displaying them to entice us to buy their other plugins!

And the Anti Hacker plugin is impossible to uninstall. I found myself with lots of errors when I clicked on it, my site was down for several seconds, and I couldn’t uninstall it from WordPress, so I had to log in my hosting and delete this virus plugin from the CPanel.

What’s more, like an idiot, before installing the plugin, I bought the pro version, because I’ve got a real problem with bad bots and I thought this plugin would enable me to manage them, but I don’t even know if it works, because despite the fact that it’s been installed since this morning, this evening there’s still no information on the bots, so either it doesn’t work, or it only gives information from yesterday.

It’s not a plugin made by a pro, there are a lot of window tabs that lead nowhere, so it’s a real headache to use.

I’m waiting until tomorrow to see if it has blocked any bots before uninstalling it.

In the meantime, I’d love to know how to remove the annoying red tabs in the top bar!

My query is with regard to ‘Visits Log‘ of which, I have tons – 7,840 entries -listed as being ‘Denied’?

Thing is, the urls blocked are ‘real posts’ so whay are they blocked?

Also, As there are so many, how do I ‘unblock them as there is no ‘select all’ and unblock function?

Does this also mean that anyone wishing to view the post will equally be blocked and someone or a bot is deliberately trying to stop views?

Can’t remove PopUp notifications for Recaptcha For All and Anti Hacker

We can’t remove popup messages ou notifications (already reported by users).

There are TWO warnings to said us to install two free plugins: Recaptcha For All and Anti Hacker.

These are large windows that are displayed at the top of the page. They are displayed with each action of settings or visualization, confirmation of choice, selection of a tab (settings) etc…

We have followed the procedure indicated to remove this unwanted display (problem reported by theozsnowman in this forum).

It doesn’t work well because there is always a notification window Pop Up for the anti hacker plugin. It reappears after a few seconds.

We have activated the invisible reCAPTCHA extension (which we have already installed with another plugin on some pages). We had set the reCAPTCHA tab invisible.

It’s a problem because when these two windows are closed, they open again immediately after their deletion and in very very frequent ways.

If we switch to the pro version, I don’t think that will solve the problem.

What would be great if you could solve this problem, which is very annoying to use, because two windows are displayed permanently, for each action, setting, or page consultation.

Can you do something ? Thank you very much
