Hi all,
I’ve received a notification today that my use of this plugin is a potential security liability. I’m at the latest version for the plugin.
Anyone know how to fix this, or if not is there an easy alternative?
Note from Google received today:
“Google’s Safe Browsing systems have detected that some pages on your site might be hacked or might include third-party resources such as ads that are designed to trick users into installing malicious software or giving up sensitive information. To protect your site’s visitors, your site has been demoted in Google’s search results and browsers such as Google Chrome now display a warning when users visit your site.”
I ran the PHP Compatibility Checker plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/php-compatibility-checker/
checking for PHP 7 compatibility and got this result for this plugin:

Using latest version of WordPress. My host server company has removed access for me to all of my websites because of a security issue with this plugin that has created a phishing file in one of my websites. Can you address this plug-in problem so I can have access to my sites restored? The problem is in the /stout-google-calendar/gcalendar-wrapper.php file. I have been blacklisted by Google because of this. The server host company says once Google has removed the file from the black list, I’ll be restored. Thanks!
]]>please help. language of calendar has all of a sudden changed to something crazy and it will not save english as the language
]]>Can we some how reuse the “stout_gc I=#”? Currently Im at 6 and would like to reuse 1-5.
]]>Is there any alternative to this plugin? It really is the best plugin for integrating google calendars. However it seems highly unlikely that the author will update this so it is compatible with google’s new API (which is why your calendar just says “loading”).
Please update this so it works with Googles new API.
Thanks.
]]>Hello,
The calendar I have will not load previous months or the next month. It just says “Loading.” Any ideas of why this is?
]]>I’m assuming that Google retiring v2 of their API killed this plugin. Would be nice if it would be updated to use v3 of Google’s API so it would work again.
]]>There seems to be a recent “glitch” in the app – when language is set to DEFAULT (which it has been for many years on many sites) it shows as Arabic in the calendar.
Specifically picking a language solves the issue.
This seems to have cropped up in the last week or so.
Otherwise, a great add on!
]]>Hi, I have the Google Calendar plugin and have used it successfully on the home page and calendar page: https://highbridge.org/ and https://highbridge.org/high-bridge-calendar/ . This morning I got an email telling me the calendar is not appearing. It has disappeared on both pages. No one has changed the code. Can you tell me how to go about troubleshooting this type of problem? Updates were made to the Google calendar itself and the calendars were visible after the updates were done (I have a printout of each). I’m wondering if there’s some conflict with the ‘custom’ feature in the new version of WordPress where you can see the sidebars and edits them in that mode. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
]]>Great plugin. I’ve used it on two sites. One quirk though: My previous and next period buttons look weird. They are two columns of two rows of buttons and the gifs appear to be cut off and unaligned. See here: https://www.holyspirit-la.org/?page_id=420
Any ideas how to correct this?
Thanks.
Stout plugin version 1.2.3. I just installed wpMandrill to track my outbound emails and there was a plugin that was already overwriting the wp_mail function. Once I deactivated them all one by one, I found that Stout Google Calendar was the culprit. Why would this plugin override the default wp_mail function? Is there some way to change it so that I can still use the plugin and also use wpMandrill (which is designed for the specific purpose of overriding the wp_mail function)?
]]>I installed stout google calendars in my sandbox and it worked fine. I was able to paste the short code in my page and see the calendar on the site.
When I tried to do the same thing in my main site, after I name it, paste in the iframe embed code and add calendar, it says ‘calendar successfully added’ yet it doesn’t show in the list of saved calendars.
I thought there might be a problem with my webhost, with trying to use the plugin in the sandbox and the site so I uninstalled it from my site but the problem persists.
I am using version 1.2.3
Please help- I really like this plug in. It looked so nice when I installed it in the sandbox.
]]>Have an issue with the date format.
The date format is displayed (for language preferences; default and Swedish language) day of the week/month/date (Thu 11/7), which is wrong. Right is day of the week/date/month (Thu 7/11).
If I change the language to English(UK) I get it right but with English spelling for days of the week.
How do I get the correct date format with the Swedish spelling?
The calendar is showing spam from god knows where through the website but not in the actual calendar on the google account. Need a fix asap or I’ll have to pull the plugin off my clients site.
]]>Had been working well – not sure when it broke. Same thing happens trying to preview a calendar on the Settings page. It’s not the Google calender embed code, as I can use the same code on another site with Stout Google Calendar plugin and it works fine (same version of WP 3.6.1 Any ideas?

]]>I installed the calendar plugin, made sure the Google Calendar I’m using is public and entered my Google Calendar iframe embed code. The calendar shows up perfectly fine. The problem is, even though I have events on my Google Calendar they aren’t appearing on the calendar on my WordPress page. Any ideas on how to fix this? You can take a look at the calendar here (scroll down to the bottom of the page): https://leadimpactninja.com/fitpro/location-times/
Thanks.
]]>I am only considering a plug in because I cannot get the multiple calendar from Google to display correctly on the website:
https://wtaog.org/calendar-1/
I am wanting to know if this plug in will make the Google code correctly. I included links to pics showing how it is and how it should be below.
The calendar should have a small arrow in the upper right corner that allows me to select which calendars to show. It should also have different colors for each calendar.
The way it is:

This is what it should be:
https://deserthighway.org/wtaog/test/Should-Be.png
with the pull down menu:

If this plugin does not fix the problem… do you know what would
Thanks for any help

]]>Stout Google Calendar displays great on desktop however on my Verizon LG Android device, the widget continuously flashes the red “Loading” button and “Showing events until #/##” continues to loop through all 12 months.
These occur in both stock and Dolphin android browsers; haven’t tried other browsers or devices. The most curious thing about this is that these two behaviors quit when I click the ‘more details’ for a calendar event.
Thoughts…?

]]>Hello Plugin Author,
I am trying to change my google calendar’s iframe font-size along with other css rules such as word-wrap: break-word; white-space: normal;
My Agenda view that I am showing in my widget needs new css rules so that the events are not cut off. I would like to have the event drop down underneath until the complete description is shown.

]]>I’ve used SGC successfully on dozens of sites, and never run into this problem before:
I put the Stout shortcode on the Calendar page, and when I try to load it, the calendar frame (ie, the month and month selectors, the blue background), all load fine, but the calendar events do not load, and a “Loading” message displays, but never loads events.
I’ve tried re-generating the iframe in the calendar, and this is not the problem.
To get the events/calendar on the client’s page, I have put the iframe directly into the text/html editor, and the calendar displays just fine, so it is somehow a plugin problem.
I am running Stout GC on a multisite install, where the other 35 sites have calendars embedded using Stout with no issues. I can’t uninstall and re-install, or I’ll lose all those site’s calendars.
Anyone know why one site might be having these issues? Or have any ideas about what to try?

]]>I have edited the iframe code in Stout Google Calendar, increasing the height of the calendar, so that more events show without that annoying “+2 more”. In SGC, the height is set to 760px, which renders each day’s box to be about 140px tall.
This works fine on the default display of the current month, and even when I click the arrow to advance one month in the future, but when I click that arrow again to show two months in the future, the calendar height shortens, so that the daily boxes are about 115px tall.
Does anyone know why this may be happening? And what I can do to fix it?

the embeded calendar seems to have fixed width so it does not fit on the phone view
what have i set incorrectly?

]]>This plugin is super-cool, it would be helpful if there was a way to make it so events were not clickable hotlinks as we’d like to put private information under “notes”. Is it possible to make them simply display-only but not be links? I saw that on google you can switch it to not show details but that removes ALL details, including the name of the event.

]]>Hi, nice plugin.
Is there a way to use this plugin to embed 2 different google calendars using the same shortcode?
Like maybe: [stout_gc id=1, 2]
Thanks,

]]>I have a Google Calendar FULL SCREEN synced using traditional Google embed code, and your superior plugin for the smaller page 1 calendar. Both show this month exactly the same, but when I scroll ahead, I do not see the future month events in the mall calendar.

Is there a setting for the number of events or months to display?
PS. LOVE the plugin and will donate when I resolve this quirk… (Not just saying that)

]]>My default Google Calendar timezone is “(GMT-05:00) Eastern Time”. All individual calendars also have the timezone set to “Eastern”, and when I created the embed code I selected “Eastern”. The event time displays correctly on the calendar and in the initial pop-up window, but if a viewer who is NOT logged in to Google Calendar clicks the “more details>>” link in the pop-up window, the next screen displays the time in “GMT (no daylight saving)”. So, for example, an event that displayed as “8:45am Eastern” on the calendar and in the pop-up now displays as “12:45pm GMT (no daylight saving)” on this “more details” page. Apparently this is some kind of Google bug, but is there a work-around for the Stout plug-in?
