This plugin doesn’t work. When I entered correct credit card details, it says “credit card number a required field” etc, even though the card is entered correctly, and I have ssl on the site.

If you use this plugin, all you have to do is include an SSL certificate on your site and the hard work is done for you. Credit card breaches are serious, and with this plugin and an SSL certificate, you’re protected. Your customers credit card information never hits your servers, it goes from your customers computer straight to Stripes servers keeping their information safe.
This is not correct, the plugin sends card data to your server and validates that the fields are present on your server. This is not the correct way to do it per Stripe, thus this does not allow for PCI compliance by just installing an SSL cert.
DO NOT USE THIS PLUGIN UNTIL IT IS FIXED!!!!!!

This app has been running on a few stores I developed and it works flawlessly. Fairly easy to add your own CSS styling to make the form integrate nicely too as its on page, rather than a modal popup like most other Stripe plugins.
The only thing missing is that it doesn’t send customer email addresses to Stripe, so customers don’t get a separate email receipt from Stripe, but I send them one anyway, so it’s not a problem.

This plugin has not been updated in 4 months and the developer looks to be unresponsive to support issues.
The save CC feature does not work, therefore any WooCommerce subscription will not renew because of it. Go with the official WooCommerce plugin for stripe and pass on this one!

When it works, it works well (and it’s free). But it also has been plagued with issues, which is a real problem when it has to do with something as important as your customer transactions and payments. Support is generally non-existent. Check out the Support forum.

First of all, thank you for this nice free plugin ??
Secondly, I have an issue to report. Everything was working fine on my client’s website until the last few days. The credit card payment option has disappeared from the checkout page. I’ve tried re-installing it but all in vain. Can you please address this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
PS: Payment option starts showing up when the testing mode is on.

This plugin almost works 100% perfectly, but when someone purchases on my website, their saved credit card doesn’t display properly. Under saved cards in their account, the first card is only listed as a forward slash.
A few people have mentioned this problem on support forums two months ago. No response so far. I will be looking into WooCommerce paid plugin: https://www.woothemes.com/products/stripe/
I wish this plugin could have worked, and I thank the developer for their efforts.

Plugin works great for regular products.
I’m running WooCommerce Subscriptions (the WooThemes one) and I get this on the checkout –
Sorry, it seems there are no available payment methods which support subscriptions. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.
Within Subscriptions settings, it does say the gateway supports subscriptions (which it seems to from your end.)
Any thoughts what it might be?

Worked as described – integrates well with WooCommerce. The administrative section is in the Checkout section of WooCommerce settings; the UI is well integrated right inside WooCommerce’s “Your Order” section on the checkout page. Quite a few other Stripe plugins (even paid) do not have these two areas well taken care of. Granted, the UI and feature set (and customization options) can be enhanced – but as a community plugin, very well done to start with. Five stars and look forward to more enhancements and contributions from the community!
