Bug report: when writing a post and saving it into draft, it gets published into the subclub account anyways. When it is a draft it shouldn’t!
Write a post, then save it as draft; as soon as you check your subclub account you’ll see it! And if you make a correction then save it as draft again WITHOUT publishing, there you get another copy of the post! Even though you have never hit “publish”.
I’m not a coder and have no idea if this bug is due to the API or the plugin itself, I just activated it and set up my API key in plugin’s settings. As it’s first plugin’s release I just assume it’s a “youth mistake”. Let me know or I might provide more details on github if any.
]]>Hello, I’d like to report a significant bug on SubClub plugin – maybe it’s a “youth-related” error, given that this is the very first release.
Description: when preparing a premium post selecting the appropriate option in meta box, if you save it as a draft into WordPress, the SubClub premium account gets it published anyways. And if you make corrections then save it as a draft again, it appears as a new post in premium – with the result that I have 2 posts.
Steps to reproduce it:
Expected result: when post is a draft, it shouldn’t appear in SubClub account, right?
My setup is a self-hosted WordPress blog with ActivityPub plugin installed and SubClub together – not every content must be premium. I have just connected my subclub’s API key and I have not the dev skills to tell you if the bug is an API-related abnormal behaviour or if it’s the plugin’s.
Hope it helps.
PS I am using this support forum and tell me if you’d better need a github issue, I haven’t your github link so I used this. Bye for now.
