Hi,
I’m currently using Jetpack subscriptions, but want to give users the option to choose multiple post types, categories, etc. I have 150 email addresses subscribed, though. Can I import them into Subscribr’s settings? Or is there something else I can do so I don’t lose my current subscribers?
Thanks,
Eric
We’re using wordpress for an employee/internal blog, so I’ve gotten the OK to opt everyone in to new post notifications.
Is Subscribr strictly an opt-in plugin, or can I set every one of my users to be initially opted-in, then allow them to opt-out if they wish?
Thanks!
]]>Hello,
This is a really great plugin, it covers almost everything that I need. However, I was wondering if it would be possible to make a little bit of modification for my purpose.
Right now, if I set the taxonomies for the users, and I create a new listing, the plugin send an email every case, when ANY of the taxonomies matches.
For example: If I set “Flat” and “4 bedrooms” for a user, the plugin sends an email, when any of them matches, so if a user is looking for “Family house” with “4 bedrooms”, then he will also receive notifications about the flats too. Is it possible to modify the plugin, to combine the taxonomies (like an AND operator)? If it is, where can I do that?
Thanks!

I have even made sure emails are being sent out. Both scheduled and non scheduled posts are not sending out updates.

Is there any way to personalise the email body text for the person receiving the email update? I’d simply like to start the email with a
Dear %username%
but I don’t know what the variable should be?
Apologies that I’m not a programmer, this must be pretty basic for a lot of people lol.
Thanks if anyone can help ??

]]>Hi,
Your plugin works great. Was searching for a plugin like this for many hours. My custom post types are selectable in the users profile. But they do not appear in de plugin admin. That’s a bit confusing. Maybe could that be implemented in a future update.
]]>Hi,
I wished to clarify about the email notification for custom post type. i have 2 custom post type : one is “job” and the other is “request”. unfortunately, notification for “request” post does not work.
the request post is really just text input without keyword tagging. i wonder if that could be the reason…
this is my website: https://www.swiftly.sg
if need be, i will purchase a pro license to get it work.
thanks & regards

Can users subscribe to selected post categories?
]]>Hi,
After generating a .po file myself from your plugin files, I cannot get the translations to work. I have named them subscribr-nl_NL.mo/po and put them in the lang/ map.
What am I doing wrong?
Kind regards,
Martin

]]>Hi great plugin but I have an email issue with custom post types and taxonomies.
I am using the latest version of the plugin on the latest version of wordpress using the standard Twenty Fourteen theme which is up to date.
The emails worked fine to send out notifications when standard posts where added but do not work for custom post types and taxonomies.
I have set everything up and am able to select a taxonomy from a custom post type within the subscribers dashboard for the notifications that they wish to receive. The only problem is that no email is sent when a new custom post with the taxonomy assigned is added to the site.
I am happy to provide login details if you send me your email address.
I also only have two plugins active which are the subscriber plugin and a popular plugin for creating custom post types and taxonomies which can be seen here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/types/
The domain I am using with the above specifications can be seen here: https://www.mjstapleford.com
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
]]>Similar other posts, whenever I activate the Subscribr plug-in, my entire site crashes requiring me to remove the plug-in. In other posts, I’ve seen reference to the need for PHP 5.4 in order for Subscribr to work. I am currently running version 5.4.24 so I don’t think that is the problem.
Thank you in advance.

]]>Just did a install on my single site install, then all pages went blank.
Had to remove the plugin using ftp.
Last version of Subscribr (0.1.3) doesn’t show options which are shown on your second screenshot. Neither “Temporarily stop all notifications” nor “Remove preferences and stop all notifications” do show up on the user profile page.
]]>Have a 3.8.1 multisite – sub-folder install – test version site setup just like my several active sites. Only have one sub-site setup at present.
Crashes entire site upon activation – network or single site – had to disable by manually editing the database.
on page:
/wp-admin/plugins.php?activate=true&plugin_status=all&paged=1&s=
or:
/wp-admin/network/plugins.php?activate=true&plugin_status=all&paged=1&s=
returns:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/subscribr/lib/mindshare-options-framework/mindshare-options-framework.php on line 807
on *every* page.
Downloaded the plugin from your site, did a code compare on that file – binary equal between downloaded fila and file installed from WP repository.

]]>Hi-
Is there anyway to get front-end functionality – allowing the users to sign for the service and specify which cutom-post type categories they would like to be notified about. I think this may be a good option.

Installed, configured. Now what? I don’t see a widget. I don’t see shortcode instructions anywhere. A hint please…..
