]]>Hello,
I have an ecommerce site and am implementing a VIP membership where the client pays quarterly or yearly. 3 levels and 2 options available for each. I want to use this plugin to do that. Can I use it to create a button for each membership level and plan? And can I do this with the standard version or will I have to get the PRO version?
Thank you
]]>Great plugin!
however, can we integrate subscription payments directly into checkout page with subscription products? does premium allow this?
Hello, recently people get charged without having a free trial period. Is there a known issue about this? If not, what details can I provide to help?
]]>I see the plugin has been removed from the repository. Is it coming back?
]]>I’m setting this plugin in my web for years, but now I have a problem with it, because when a subscriber who unsubscribe and want to re-subscribe cannot.
I don’t know if this a paypal issue or from the plugin, Anyone can help me?
Thanks again
Hi,
Can you let me know if the file “debug.log” is a security issue if it is visible to anyone?
… e.g. https://thehandbook.soccer/wp-content/debug.log
Wordfence is telling me it maybe a serious issue.
Many thanks for your help.
Regards.
]]>The Value Added Tax for this year has increased, thus increasing the price of the product I sell. I have changed the price in the buttons setting for all future subscribers but where and how do I change the price for the subscribers who subscribed before the price increase?
Thanks in advance!
]]>Hi,
Is a business PayPal account required to use this plugin for recurring payments?
Thanks
]]>I try to set up PayPal payment for membership and follow the Getting-started setting description. I made it until item no 3. Then there is:
“4. In the Admin menu, nagivate to your Pages page. Make a new page or click to open an existing page.”
ok, i did it, then
“5. You should see a new button in the menu beside the “Add Media” button called “PayPal Subscription Button”. Click on that.””
I don’t see that!!!
” 6. Find the button you just created in the dropdown menu and click on”Insert Button”.
But this does not exist, I don’t find this button. Where is my mistake? Please help. Thank you.
Hi, I want to create an subscription form, like an email list, but as a subscription.
The idea is the sign up to the email list and pay a subscription for the emails. is that possible?
I don’t want a members area, just fill out the contact form 7, pay the monthly subscription and they get emails
thanks
]]>Hi, I would like to know how to get the subscriber info by user id/email?
]]>Hi Scott
saw in another question this was asked but never answered.
I have a script that passes the IPN to each domain I need it to go to and trying out your plugin to see if I need the Pro version.
So I need the URL that’s returned for example
my Hamradiocable site has this
array('prefix' => 'app1',
'domain' => 'hamradiocables.com',
'path' => '/?wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal',
'live' => true),
its using woocommerce for the Path
Now mind you this is only part of the scrip (I bet you knew that :>)
what would your plugins return IPN path be?
thanks
Mitch
Hi, first of all, thanks for your plugin!
I would like to know if there is a way to send a customized email to a user that has subscribed to a monthly plan.
I have WordPress skills so if you can guide me on how to use a hook or similar to send an email I would apretiate that.
Thanks!
]]>Hi,
Do I need to set an IPN Url for my site or is it applied on the whole site?
Does it work with another paypal plugin with an IPN url?
]]>Can I use this plugin to make a single payment or is there a better alternative that you provide.
]]>Is it possible to have two PayPal buttons on seperate pages?
One ordinary at the time purchase ‘Buy Now’ and another for subscriptions ‘Subscribe Now’
]]>Can I import email list from the paypal donation program
]]>I have installed both the PayPal donation and subscription buttons. The one time donation button works correctly, but the subscription button is not showing in the “elements” section when I am editing using Elementor. I went through the steps listed in the Settings tab. Am I missing something?
]]>Why don’t your buttons have the same padding embedded in the image. The big buy now button with cards has 18 pixels of padding to the right and left of the cards. And the big subscribe button with cards has 6 pixels. The end result is if I have multiple buttons on the same page they won’t line up and look good. You should crop your buttons so that they will look good next to each other. Or at least let us upload our own buttons so we can fix your images.
]]>How do your billing cycles work? How many times will they get billed if I set a button to be $x, billing cycle (any), and 1 cycle. To my way of thinking that should be 1 billing. But I could see that being 1 repeat so you get billed twice.
]]>i have both plugins, the standard paypal button (buy now) and the subscription one. weirdly, the latter does not center the button as expected. so it looks weird and different, even without any other WP editor formatting.
here is a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/v3u6J7H
the text above is completely centred and the normal buttons are as well. subscriptions are off to the left.
I installed the plugin a few weeks ago and whenever I try to make a payment, PayPal tells me the following: “Things don’t appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.” Both in Firefox and Chrome. Is anyone else getting this?
]]>hi Scott,
it’s not clear how you handle taxes with this plugin. I see nowhere in the WP admin settings panel/s where it is possible to add a tax amount. 12 dollars or 19.5% or any figure at all.
I did find a post on your website which described how to add “complex tax calculations” per country via payPal itself. Still there was nothing on how to add a “simple tax calculation” (as above). Am I missing the obvious information?

]]>I have installed the plugin in my website and have configured paypal in sandbox mode correctly. Although I am able to make transactions (according to paypal), I can’t see anything in subscriptions or payments. Any idea why that might be happening?
]]>Hi, does this plugin enable users to view the products/things they have subscribed? And regards on the Paypal payment, is it possible that the button does not have to redirect the user to another window?
]]>How does this plugin interact with users who already have accounts on my website? I see that there’s an option to create an account automatically when a subscription is purchased, but I can’t find any documentation on what happens if someone is logged in when they subscribe or what happens if the email address they use to subscribe is already associated with an account on the site. Any help or links to documentation would be greatly appreciated.
]]>Am I missing something? How does the customer create a password? Your setup instructions are great but they stop with creating the Paypal subscription.
Customer gets sent to Paypal, sets up subscription but then has no way of knowing what their password should be so can’t login. What have I missed?
Everything is clearly explained EXCEPT how to insert the login/logout interfaces. Could be why you have less than 4 stars rating. Could you please explain how to create a new page and insert the login/out interfaces? Theres no obvious way to do it that I could find.
]]>Hi,
The notify_url added to the button is causing me problems with IPN sent from paypal and so would either like to set it to a different value or remove it altogether.
Is there somewhere in the settings that I can do that.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Ian.
