I use ManageWP for managing my sites and the one having Sunshine is experiencing issues since about 3-4 latest updates – maybe since version 3.4: every time a Sunshine update is applied the site loses its connection with ManageWP and I have to reconnect it by re-entering its connection code.
The error at ManageWP states their plugin has been deactivated but this is not true, only lost the cnnection.

I updated to the latest version and have noticed that the cart icon is missing from the gallery images. There is an empty circle. Is there a way I can reinstate the icon. The shortcut to the cart still works but there is no visual indication that it is the cart. Many thanks

Today I found out that when we tap on back to gallery button, the page returns to the top of the gallery instead of returning to the point where we tapped on an image. Any ideas how we can fix this ?

Pop up is showing to create an account but – when anyone tres to create an account – error message is genereated! So close!

Any thoughts on this? Elementor Free…All PHP updated…5 running plugins…Elementor Add-ons..tried to turn off plugins and still getting error message…

After completely upgrading to the pro version, I decided to start using the Package add-on to sell photos and digital files on my site.

In testing the module, I find one thing confusing. In the selection of the images to add to your package, if the purchase is for a digital file, or digital files, you can select a quantity, in which I would think you should only be able to add 1. As well, the drop down list for the quantity of each item is a little confusing. I would recommend putting Qty: next to it, so people know what it signifiies. And perhaps just a select checkbox if it is a digital download…

Maybe I am missing something, but just thinking out loud.

Just wondering if I could make a feature request/request for assistance.

I have been using sunshine plugin for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it. It is one of the best polished plugins I have seen for WordPress. I have been getting great feedback from my customers, however there is one complaint I am getting, and I am hoping someone can help me.

Most of my customers use mobile to browse my galleries. The problem they are experiencing is when they add an image to their cart, they say they get “stuck” at the white screen. It took me some digging around to figure out that they mean that it is not very evident that they need to click the X in the upper right to close the cart and resume shopping. The X is not very prominent.. I was wondering if there was a way I could add a small “Click here to close” button in the upper right corner to make it more evident to users how to back out of the cart and continue browsing?

I set up my tax settings including that if a person does not have an address, it uses my business address however taxes has not been working. It doesn’t seem to be using my business address at all.

I am a wedding photographer and I want to offer novelty items to the couple and the guests: mugs, coasters, fridge magnets and so on, with the photos from the wedding.

Is there a way, did anybody try, to link the photo cart and galleries with a novelty manufacturing business ? Which one ? I am in Canada.

The way I see it, I’d be enabling some products, the clients will shop, production and fulfillment dealt with by the novelty business and I get a cut of the markup.

Is it possible or will I have to transfer and input my orders manually to the shop doing such novelty items ?

We have setup the “Free” shipping method and added the corresponding description in french for a french site. Why is this shipping method labeled as “Vaisseau” at checkout and invoices? Wouldn’t “Gratuit” be a better fit?

This time we get empty carts when adding images to it. At first, the procedure looks fine and the cart shows images inside at the top right corner box but when wanting to checkout we get a message saying that the cart is empty…

In addition to my post about orders, that has now been resolved with the latest update 3.2.7, we now found out (right before this update, but still not working) that our Sunshine Manager cannot save or update Sunshine settings.

The error states that the user needs higher permissions to perform this action.

Is there a way to add multiple images to cart at once? Currently, clients need to add them one by one, back and forth multiple times.

Hi again, just found another small bug:

Under Sunshine/settings/delivery & shipping there is a dropdown for selecting Shipping Method.
When selecting Local Delivery and then saving those settings it doesn’t display “local delivery” in this box as set but has again the dropdown as if nothing has been been set or saved.

We have an existing parent gallery with some sub-galleries from 2022 and my client decided to password protect them. We entered the same password with default settings at all sub-galleries (but not at the parent one).

Problem is, when changing browser, the password is not recognized and the page keeps reloading with the box asking for the password. As if nothing happened. If I enter a wrong one I get the red error signaling that the password is wrong but when entering the correct one nothing happens.

I have a video my client made of this issue that I can send you in private if needed.

I was trying to change the featured thumb of sub-galleries by clicking on the star when hovering on an image of the gallery gave this arror repeatedly:

I first installed it 2 years ago for a dance school yearly show 2022 and now I need to create the galleries for a new show 2024 but don’t well understand how to proceed.

Let’s say that initial page is named “Show 2022” and it hosts a group of 5 image galleries that are chapters of the same show.
Now I want to add a new page named “Show 2024” that will also host 5 new galleries inside.

How should I proceed with this idea?
Is there a way for having more than 1 group of galleries somehow?

Currently the page hosting all 5 galleries from 2022 is using this shortcode:
[sunshine_galleries]
– maybe I should simply add all 10 galleries normally and then use a selective shortcode for each year that includes only the galleries of that year? Does this sort of shortcode exist?

I only found this shortcode but it displays a single gallery based on its ID:
[sunshine_gallery id=”ID” show_main_menu=”true/false”]
Is there a way to have a similar shortcode that displays more than 1 gallery in a page, based on its ID?

Hello, I am currently using the free version and considering purchasing PRO. However, there is an issue that needs to be resolved if possible. When clicking on an individual photo in the client’s gallery, it opens as a separate file.

As I understand, this is caused by the Yoast SEO plugin, as I get the following message: “Yoast SEO is blocking attachment URLs, please enable this feature for Sunshine to work properly. Click here.”

When I click “enable,” the photo displays correctly, but the same photo appears in three other places on the website: the Header, below the menu, and in the footer (see attached photo).

I don’t understand why this is happening. Is there a solution?

I am using the Free version to test. But all my clients have problems entering the gallery, when I give them a password, it returns them to the page that requires the password and does not let them enter. They only succeed after many attempts and that is frustrating. I tried it and the same thing happens to me. What I can do? Is it because in the Free version the service of setting a password for the galleries does not work well? Thank you

I have installed free version and I have seen that when I show individual images from any gallery I have not option to go to next or previous images but I need to back to gallery. I think that I cannot offer it this way to my customers. I have seen that there is a Lightbox add-on but I wonder if there is any free option to have traditional gallery view with arrows for next and previous images. I have been checking settings but I do not see any option.

I am trying to use this tool Unused Image Sizes in Sunshine Photo Cart.
I get a progress bar that’s very slow, it goes fast sometimes, then it slows down for a minute.
It goes to about 1100/1400 and then nothing happens for 30min+
There’s a list of numbers below the progress bar that goes nowhere, nothing listed.
I am not so sure if 1400 is too much, if there’s a problem, if it does anything at all. The only button I have is Abort. I wish I could do it in smaller chunks I don’t know maybe 300 at a time ?
I never got anywhere with this tool.
Can someone point me in the right direction please, I just want to clean the website a bit, make it faster, clean the database of gunk, etc.

I have tried deactivating all other plugins prior to the upgrade, but get the same error.
