Hi!
Could you please test the plugin with the version WP 5.5.1. Thanks
Hello!
Just wondering exactly how this plugin works. Does it pull in the emojis from an external location or does it load all the emojis to the server and load from there?
Thanks!
]]>Hello,
please, is there any way we can use it in comments?
Thank you
when pasting or writing an url the Emoji dialog open up in the editor.
I fixed if by replacing a line (script.js line 309)
if ( node.data.lastIndexOf( '://', offset ) > -1 || colonIndex == -1 ) {
instead of
if ( colonIndex == -1 ) {
I did it also at line 57 of script.js just in case but not sure if it’s needed
]]>Hello
I was using the WordPress emojis and after they migrated my hosting I lost them all (they were changed by the “?” Symbol)
I would like to know if using this plugin will I have no problem with emojis in the future in case my hosting does another migration?
Does it depend on WordPress emojis or does the plugin work with other standalone?

Someone already suggested a fix for the problem in 4.8, but I cannot commit to maintaining this plugin going forward. Let me know if you’d like to!
]]>Hi Eric,
As briefly discussed on Twitter, I work for the WordPress VIP team at Automattic. WordPress.com has been updated with some of the TinyMCE features that are to be added into WordPress 4.8 (currently in beta) and we’ve found that this plugin causes the Visual editor to break when the two are brought together. I’m running the 4.8 beta on my own self-hosted test site and can recreate the exact same issue – basically, once both are active, when you enter the editor the visual tab has no content. If you switch to the text/html tab you can see the post content – click back on the visual tab and it re-appears.
In case you’re wondering how this plugin and WordPress.com have ever met, one of our VIP clients uses it (VIP users can add additional plugins above those built into wp.com).
So, here’s the JavaScript error I’m seeing…
tinymce.min.js?ver=4603-20170530:10

Not surprisingly, I suspect that once WordPress 4.8 is pushed out that SEP is going to break for all updated sites.
Anyway, don’t hesitate to ask if you need any further help with this.

Thank you???
Hello, great plugin, I tried to code something similar with no plugin but this one is way better. Sadly for me it’s not compatible with Advanced Custom Fields – tested here and it brakes the autocomplete navigation.
Dreamweaver alerts for an error on line 143 of script.js, that contains “handleBrowseEmojiEvent(event) {“. Is it important or a false alert of Dreamweaver? Thanks.

does this work with bbPress? If not directly, is there a plugin to bring Super Emoji Plus+ to bbPress’s TinyMCE editor?
