1. How can I decrease width of button ? I tried changing size of text but that did not change size of that Byron
2. Can you have a video along with images in the slider?
]]>Hi. If you go to the page show, you will see an auto-play audio track embedded at the top of the page text. I want to move that to just below the entire slider frame I put at the top, but all I can seem to do is put it as captions on each slide. The problem with that is that the autoplay reloads with each individual slide. Any way of doing this?
]]>Hi,
I am trying out Super Hero slider (it is great that it replaces featured images) and I witness a strange behaviour. It is not using the navigation settings I entered and saved for each sliders. I have multiple sliders on one page. They all use the same default settings no matter how many times I save the settings.
Navigation settings I saved :
– Navigation position : centered (ok)
– Navigation style : Dark on Light (ok)
– Navigation buttons : chevron (ok)
– Buttons style : no background (it is white background)
– Pagination : hide (ok)
When I change any settings, it is working. But no background is the only one that is not working. It is always showing the square background instead of none.
At first I was seeing many weird behaviour (last week when I first set everything) but now I guess it was my browser’s cache not clearing perfectly, because this is the only problem today.
The other issue still appearing is that the pagination is not appearing, it is displaying a black bar, even in back office preview.
Any clue to help would be much appreciated!
Thanks a lot,
Kind regards
Eva
How to check if post has slider enabled in php(within wordpress theme), so we can display featured image or slider based on that.
]]>When I select Pagination > Show from the Edit Slider Navigation Setting, the dots do not display on the slider. There is instead a gray background that displays at 100% width at the bottom of the slider, which I can see comes from the css file line 355. Have tried a reinstall of the plugin with no change.
]]>After moving from our dev subdirectory—where they functioned perfectly—to the live directory, the sliders on our site no longer scale when the browser is re-sized on desktop, the animation transitions (fades) no longer function, and when “Add Spinner” is selected, the spinner displays continuously along with the images. All files were copied exactly as is. Any help and/or guidance is appreciated.
]]>Hello!
Tell me please is it possible to insert a video from YouTube into the slider? Or at least attach links to video clips to images?
]]>I’ve added your slider to use with featured images.
The problem is that the featured images have a width of 60vw, and your slider is sizing differently. Ifd i add the CSS to make the slider elements the correct size, then the slide motion is too long. Is there anywhere i can edit how far the images move when the slider controls are clicked?
]]>Hello, first of all I would like to thank you for the great plugin, it is exactly what I was searching for! The only small problem I have, is that I want to disable the ability for users to drag their way through the pictures. The only way I want different pictures to show is through the autoplay. Is there a way, or a piece of code to disable users to drag pictures? Thank you in advance!

]]>Hi. Is it possible to integrate your plugin with one of the social share plugins? I want to add share buttons for about 10 different social networks, is it possible to implement?
]]>I have been trying to remove the hero from the blog page of our website. The blog page is simply a subdomain of our main website, eacjci.org.
The primary problem is that the hero appears in the desktop version, but not in the mobile app version. In the mobile version, we can see the logo of our business just under the title of the blog page, even though it is not showing up that way in the desktop version.
I have followed the instructions at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-remove-the-hero-slider-from-the-main-page/ However, when I get to the main page in the Customizer, and look for the Hero there, it is not to be found. Our logo seems to be appearing on our desktop version as a hero with the slider function, while I am actually viewing it in desktop version, even though our logo is showing up in the mobile app version without the slider function, even though I am working with it in desktop.
When I follow the instructions at the hyperlink above, and go to “Appearance” on the dashboard, and then to “Customize” in the drop-down box to the right of the dashboard, I do not see any “Show title”, “Show subtitle” and “Show buttons” checkboxes, that I should uncheck, as explained in the instructions from the “Link to the page [I] need help with” in the box above.
The instructions from the hyperlink for “How to remove the hero slider from the main page” say that I should be seeing “Show title”, “Show subtitle” and “Show buttons” checkboxes, that I should uncheck them and then set top and bottom content spacing parameters to 0.
However, as you can probably see from the “Link to the page [I] need help with,” I do not see where those are on that dashboard screen.
Where can you suggest I go from here to accomplish what we are trying to do?
Your assistance will be very much appreciated. Thank you.
]]>I’ve downloaded the plugin to replace the featured image on my theme (Showthemes – Januas) with a slider. The plugin is enabled, slider attached to slide and it appears in the page options to show but the slides just do not show. Page is https://techugtest.com/events/techug-glasgow-30th-august-2018/
]]>Good Day!
Thanks for the great plugin providing an easy way to replace featured images with a slider!
However, when I activate the plugin, certain pages are not loading anymore at all.
I suspect, the plugin is interfering with other jQuery scripts on the same page. Is there any way to make them both work (jQuery accordion in this case). The accordion on this page is actually featuring several separate pages within each element (each gym-class/”Gruppe” shown, is being loaded from an seperate page). Each class has its own featured image – could this also be a problem: Several featured images shown on the same page?
My WordPress Template is using jQuery UI Core 1.11.4
If I put the slider on a page with no other jQuery scripts, it’s working perfectly fine! If I deactivate the Super Hero Slider the site is working fine again as well.
Thanks in advance!
]]>I have uploaded the free plugin, and the slider is working… sort of. For some reason the captions are delayed until I hit the navigation arrows. I have the delay set for 100, so not sure what could be going wrong. Can you give any insight? Here is my website… https://insyncwithyou.apps-1and1.com Thanks for your help! BTW, really love the simplicity of the slider builder. Hannelore

]]>Hi,
I quite like your slider plugin and it works well for the most part. However, I’m having trouble setting it up correctly on the Twenty Seventeen home page. I have three pages that are sections on the homepage. Each of these sections have their header images replaced with the superhero slider. When I open any of these pages, the header image is correctly replaced by the slider. However, on the home page, the images aren’t replaced by the slider for some reason and only the static image (that I have to upload as the header image so that the slider can replace it) appears.
Am I doing something wrong?
]]>After installing Super Hero Slider I created a slider and 2 slides for that slider. I placed the shortcode on the page. When I go to the page the slider is there, but the images are not showing up. All I see is a spinner placeholder.
What am I missing?
Sorry I don’t have a link to the page. I’m developing locally.

There are no images shown or even the basic outline of the slider.. just this error code.
Any help would be appreciated, the site is supposed to go live today…
Is it possible that the error is caused by the new version of wordpress? I did not do any manual updates but I think wordpress may have done an automatic one?
Hi Guys,
My images (ie my slides) are appearing where they should, but then BELOW the image, I’ve got the overlayed text & the navigation for the sliders (ie the arrows) which is obviously making my page look silly.
Can someone help me out?
Cheers!
Scott
I am using your slider at donationboxes.org.uk – it’s great, but no matter what image size/ratio i use, the image is blurred. What is the ratio size I need to use to stop this happening?

The slider ID is 307, but I don’t know the proper way to add in the function

]]>Hi there,
I have purchased and have an active key for this plugin but there is no menu item, per this documentation https://superheroslider.catapultthemes.com/category/documentation/getting-started/. I have deactivated all other plugins in an attempt to find a conflict. I am running a genesis theme. Please advise an alternative. Happy to communicate via email with screenshots and account information if needed.
Thanks,

Not a big problem, but I noticed that links in the image caption of a slider don’t work if I use the browser Edge. Links work fine in Chrome, so it has to do with Edge.
See for yourself: vvcosimo.nl
Any ideas on what I should do?

Hi,
I can’t find an option to randomize the images?
Would be brilliant!
I’m using super hero slider (free version) on my website.
The only thing I did was put the php line (<?php super_hero_slider(); ?>) on the header.php of my purchased theme.
What’s happening is that I have a 1920px X 640px image for the slides that are being resized to 1024px X 341 px when I see the super hero slide on the frontpage of my site.
Can you explain me why is this happening? Why are images being resized to a smaller size?
