Hello,
The site is SSL. However The SupportGreatWriters plugin pulls images from https://ecx.images-amazon.com which is not SSL, hence browsers get SSL message “Your connection to this site is not fully secure”
Is there a fix to make the image call SSL compatible? Changing code to pull image from httpS… throws invalid certificate error.
Thanks.
Hey Publisher, is there any plans to fix this cool plugin. It is the only simply unique Plugin that does what it does in the sidebar. Second time I have found this plugin abandoned.
Currently when You try and save Your Affiliate Country and ID, click save. Page goes blank inside WP
]]>Hi, I was testing your plugin on https://www.blackjackreview.com/wp/ for possible use. I don’t think I will be able to use it. Couple of issues. I have a secure site and when I use your plugin users will see a broken lock on every page because of the non-https image loading.
In SGW_Widget.class.php
I believe the img above should be https but the Amazon site it points to is configured incorrectly.
Feature requests I am looking for:
1) Short code to place anywhere on a page to display an Amazon image
2) Random Amazon images on every page
hello dear developer, love your amazon book plugin. Question does it run in the newest wordpress-version too?!
love to hear from you –
thanks martin
Trying to activate this plugin for domain B causes error message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /var/www/vhosts/domain A/domain B/wp-content/plugins/support-great-writers/include/classes/SGW_Widget.class.php on line 7
Activation of the same plugin for domain A worked properly without error.
Any idea about the reason for this different behavior?
Your answer is kindly appreciated.
]]>This is a wonderful plugin. I really like that my client can update it just by typing in the ISBN numbers of the books he wants displayed.
The widget looks beautiful in Internet Explorer and Chrome, but on Firefox version 7 it is getting displaced off of the viewing area of the screen.
Here is how it looks in IE: https://i55.tinypic.com/2qxtd8n.png

I would love it if you could tell me how I could resolve this problem.
Thanks for the great plugin,
Yvonne
