I have tested different email log plugins over time. What often comes handy is to be able to filter email logs (especially for troubleshooting).
I tested it with Suremail 1.2.0 that comes with a search field. I think as of now the search field only check for the email subject. For instance, I tried to search for “Email-To” to filter all emails that were sent to [email protected] and it did not give me any result.
Will you introduce a bit more advanced filter options in Suremail?
I also sent in another question previously asking about export/import. If export is possible, then advanced filtering is possible via CSV in an external application. It’s an extra step of course, and it would be nice to have filter options directly within Suremail. However, that could be a hint for priority if those requests will be considered for future development and improvement of Suremail.

does it make sense for you to offer export/import function for email logs?
The use case is quite simple:
I have interest in having a complete email log. However, there are situations where I migrate between live/dev, for instance, when larger changes are applied on a site, I am not applying the changes twice (first on dev → testing → client feedback → apply on live again), but I have a different process.
The process goes like this: update dev to latest version → agree with client no modification for 1 week on live site → apply changes on dev → testing → client feedback → migrate dev to live.
You can see that I’ll lose the email logs during that period forever.
An export to CSV and import comes in handy and might be useful also for other troubleshooting topics.
Any chance that this will be considered as a feature request?

]]>When you send a test email it uses the Site Title (defined in the Site Identity settings by Customizer) as the From Name instead of the From Name defined in the SureMail connection. This happens regardless of whether the “Force From Name” option is selected in the SureMail connection.

]]>In the New Connections list, SMTP2GO is listed as “SMTP2Go” instead of “SMTP2GO”.
The branding for SMTP2GO uses all caps (just like it is “SureMail” and not “Suremail”) .
The New Connections list should reflect this branding choice and show as SMTP2GO (all caps).
