Hi,
I am a happy user of Swift Performance Lite for about two years and use it on all my websites.
One question:
I use CDN and want to exclude my local font files (woff2) from CDN and like to load them from my local server.
I filled out the appropriate setting, but it doesn’t seem to work and keeps loading from the CDN.
Any suggestions?
Kind regards,
Jan
We’ve purchased the Pro version, it didn’t work for us and have been waiting for our refund for weeks without any replies via email or support tickets.
Starting to smell like a scam, I must say.
]]>Recently, I started getting a blank White Homepage and need to clear cache to fix. After some time it’ll happen again. I assume, not positive , that a bot or something is only requesting header and results in that being cached as the homepage when it’s not already cached. Is there any way to prevent this, to make sure the whole page is cached?

And showing caching is disable, Please let me know how to enable it.
I have tried to reinstalled it as well, but still getting same issue.

]]>Cache Prebuild has stopped working altogether. In the Warmup Table, clicking button to Cache Page does nothing. Only way to get any posts/pages cached is to visit site in private browser and start visiting posts/pages, then they get cached. No major changes to my WP Environment lately, with one exception, I recently changed all my Salts. I have communicated with Peter (SWTE) via Facebook and he said changing salts/encrypted should have nothing to do with Swift cache. Peter asked that I open a ticket here. Also per Peter’s request I have uninstalled Swift and have removed all instances of the plugin, files, tables, options then tried reinstalling the latest version here from the Repository and still find myself with the same issue. After reinstalling I get the following errors logged…
WordPress database error Table ‘************swift_performance_warmup’ doesn’t exist for query SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT TRIM(TRAILING ‘/’ FROM url)) url FROM *********swift_performance_warmup WHERE type = ‘404’ made by do_action(‘wp_ajax_swift_performance_cache_status’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, Swift_Performance_Ajax->ajax_cache_status, Swift_Performance::cache_status

Thanks for looking into the matter.
If anything, maybe if the developers provide me a link to a previous version of Swift Lite, I can get the plugin working again? Thanks.

]]>Once I clear cache and start rebuilt cache, the GTranslator vanishes. If I don’t cache, then it appears on my website. This is since the latest update from Gtranslator. But if I restore the old version of GTranslate, it is working fine. I have installed the old version of GTranslate and it is working fine right now.
I contacted GTranslator support. According to them, I need to exclude GTranslate scripts from being optimised / cache. Please provide the solution for this problem. Thanks in advance.

Please reply as soon as possible, right now I have disabled the caching from swift performance plugin settings.
]]>Hey there,
so far the plugin worked great, but lately I found that only my homepage is loading slowly, however the Swift Performance is enabled.
In the warmup cache it show a green tick, that it’s cached, but when I do open with incognito, not logged in, its slower, the assets are not combined, so it’s not in the warmup cache.
Turned on the logs, it says for each and every visit on the homepage:
2022.12.17. 23:14:17 [Event] Thread for https://****/ is not available ( Memory:8.34Mb CPU:1.14% )
WordPress version 6.1.1
Swift Performance version 2.3.6.5
Compute API is turned off
Optimize in the background is disabled (with enabled it’s the same)
Cache handler is PHP, not rewrite
Cache expiration method is action based, not time based.
So far my only solution is that every day I go to the warmup table and manually delete the homepage, and make it cache again.
The issue happens only with the homepage, other pages are superb awesome, as expected.
Are there any thoughts I can do?
]]>Hello,
I am testing the Swift Performace, but it is not caching the pages generated by WPML multilanguage plugin. Do you know why?
I found the following page: https://docs.swiftperformance.io/knowledgebase/constants/
and there is a section:
`WPML Compatibility
By default Swift Performance will find WPML translations and add them to Warmup Table. You can prevent it if you define SWIFT_PERFORMANCE_WPML_WARMUP constant.
define(SWIFT_PERFORMANCE_WPML_WARMUP, false);
But it is not happening for any other then default language. Even when I add the URL manually, it is ignored from the warmup table.
I also tried to add into the snipped:
define(SWIFT_PERFORMANCE_WPML_WARMUP, true);
but it has no impact. Translated pages are not cached.
Any idea or help?
I saw here and also on the facebook group several requests for WPML and none of them was answered by the support.

Hello,
I’ve had a problem with Google Analitics since the Swift Performance Lite plugin is activated.
I use a visitor campaign that comes to the site via keywords.
When I activate the plug-in, it no longer displays exactly these visitors.
Here the question is, which parameters have to be set here so that this works again with an activated plug-in?

Hi, i have several Error 400 for some assets of my site using the Shortpixel AI CDN. I reached this out to shortpixel and they found out it’s more related to Swift Performance.
Here is their answer:
“The issue is that when Swift Performance extracts the critical-css, it removes the site domain from local URLs (e.g. https://staging.stadtkirche-elbingerode.de/wp-content/uploads/Stadtkirche_Elbingerode_01-800×272.jpg becomes /wp-content/uploads/Stadtkirche_Elbingerode_01-800×272.jpg) but it does this in a naive way so URLs like https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/spai4/ret_img+v_77/https://staging.stadtkirche-elbingerode.de/wp-content/plugins/easy-foundation-shortcodes/fonts/foundation-icons.eot become https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/spai4/ret_img+v_77//wp-content/plugins/easy-foundation-shortcodes/fonts/foundation-icons.eot and get corrupted.
The fonts that have their URLs corrupted are from its own minified cached CSS (processed correctly by SPAI):
https://staging.stadtkirche-elbingerode.de/wp-content/cache/swift-performance/staging.stadtkirche-elbingerode.de/css/e1186fbc534a958bfb91997d7c431cfc.css
This is why the problem disappears when Swift Performance is disabled. I skimmed through their options but I couldn’t spot one that would disable this url “optimization” .”
You can get admin access if needed.
I have no HTML, CSS or Script optimisation enabled.
So i only can decide to turn off Swift or Shortpixel.
WordPress 6.0.1
PHP 7.4.1
On a fresh install of WordPress, no other plugin installed, Swift performance light throws a PHP Warning.
Warning: Use of undefined constant NONCE_SALT – assumed ‘NONCE_SALT’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in …/wp-content/plugins/swift-performance-lite/includes/luv-framework/framework-config.php on line 551
Is there an update coming soon? last one was 3 months ago.

]]>Hi,
I use your plugin on several websites I built wihout any issues, but on a website which I did not build but am doing the maintenance for at the moment, the plugin does not work.
I did have the following errors in the log:
8 July 2022 08:34:30 [Warning] 404 Error: /blog-marleen/de-ontdek-athene-wandeling-in-10-momenten/w_768/https:/www.agemcalledathens.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/ontdek4-768×509.jpg ( Memory:95.82Mb CPU:2.26% )

After deactivating the Google Web Fonts Customizer (GWFC) plugin I no longer have errors/warnings in the error log, but the plugin is unfortunately still not prebuilding the cache.
Am lost on what to do.
Many thanks for your help.

]]>Hi,
I am currently using Swift Performance to cahce my pages but I seem to have found an issue with the WPML translation plugin I am using.
Its not letting me cache the translated pages.
I reached out to the developers of WPML and they said they can work with you to make it work with their plugin.
This is very important to me as swift seems to be the best caching plugin that works with my theme.
Please let me know if you can make your plugin work with WPML.
Thanks!
]]>Would you consider to add the ‘Short Lifespan Pages’ option to the free version of the plugin?
Would be awesome too, if the update cyclus time could be set too.
I see you care for the planet and plant trees when a premium plugin is purchased, so I wonder if you would be so kind to add this option to the free plugin as well.
This way I wouldn’t need to waste the servers energy to recreate the cache of all pages every few hours, when only 1 or a few page have dynamic content. Usually the homepage.
Not every client is willing to pay an additional yearly fee for ‘another 1’ of the plugins.
btw. I realy realy love Swift Performace plugin.
It’s great. Too bad there are no premium plans with lifetime updates.
Activating the Lazyload Background Images setting causessome CSS rules tofail
This took me quite a while to find out, because I did not expect this problem to be related to this lazyload option.
The css rule that breaks solely by activation the lazyload bg images option contains a special selector:
[class$="row--fixed-width"],
[class$="row-fixed-width"] {
padding-left: 4rem;
padding-right: 4rem;
}
The css-file itself is unchanged, and the HTML of the affected part is also unchanged. But somehow, this rule gets ignored.

]]>Hello,
when I enable caching, images called from the theme’s CSS have a wrong path relative to the cache folder instead of the theme folder.
Quick example.
css file is wp-content/mytheme/css/mytheme.css
images are in wp-content/mytheme/css/images/
in css file I set the rule background-image: url("images/image.svg")
in the cached version of css the image path is instead wp-content/cache/swift-performance/...
but naturally the image is not there.. so nothing is shown
is there a fix or I’m forced to use absolute path for css background images?
