For the first time in 2 years, we received an alert from Wordfence that Swifty Page Manager needs to be updated. Is there an update???
Please! We cannot do without Swifty – we will gladly pay – it’s indispensable! If there’s another solution you offer, please advise. Thank you!
]]>How do you change permalink without having to edit one by one? If you change the title, the permalink is not changed automatically (thankfully), so you often you have to change the permalink as well.
]]>WordPress 4.9.8 running Executive Pro Theme theme and Genesis 2.4.2.

The Swifty tree does not display. I get the Swifty admin page instead of the tree every time.
]]>When I reposition a page, two things occur:
I thereafter have to close each node again. It’s tedious.
It would be great if the plugin could remember the state (opened/closed) of the nodes so that the states are preserved with each page load.
Better yet, using AJAX instead of refreshing the page would be far superior.
Thank you for your work on a fantastic plugin.
]]>Hi,
will the ?Swifty Page Manager“ Plugin GDPR compliant after May 25?
Do you collect any user data with the Plugin ?Swifty Page Manager“?
Thank you.
]]>I LOVE this plugin because I have over 500 pages and it makes the work so much easier. However, recently (in the last few months), I noticed that the pages are no longer being added in alphabetical order. Is there a way to change that (other than having to do it manually)?
]]>Hi,
we really love the Swify Page Manager, but sorely miss a way to duplicate existing pages in there directly. The function is mentioned for SwiftySite (as “Copy-paste”) which unfortunately we are not able to use. So right now, we need to keep switching to the regular page manager to use the clone function of the Duplicate Post plugin (there are several such plugins).
Is there any chance for Swify Page Manager to receive a clone function, or at least allow integration with a duplication plugin?
Thanks,
Phil
I had some tough performance issues with a WordPress, so after digging and profiling I’ve found this piece of code that was problematic:
— From ‘/wp-content/plugins/swifty-page-manager/lib/swifty_plugin/php/lib_swifty_plugin_view.php’ —
public static function is_required_plugin_active( $plugin_name )
….
// no then we will find out: get all plugins and look for the plugin name in the
directory name
if( ! function_exists( 'get_plugins' ) ) {
require_once ABSPATH . ‘wp-admin/includes/plugin.php’;
}
` $keys = array_keys( get_plugins() );
The get_plugins function is very very slow and IMHO, an admin function shouldn’t be called in the client application.
This happens every page view, so the system is unstable, crashes with 10 concurrent requests (4 cores, 16 GB) and cannot perform as required.
How can I fix this issue?
]]>Hi,
I justdownloaded the page manager, and I can’t figure out how to hide pages. When I am in pages –> page manager, and i edit go to the setting of a page. I do not see the ability to hide pages like in the screenshots. Do I need additional plugins for this to work?
Thanks,
Aaron
]]>Hi,
I have been using other page tree organizers for years, and one thing they have in common is that if you right click on a page title or edit link/button, then you can choose to open the target page in a new window/tab (it is a browser option).
This is very helpful because if you have a large tree, you can keep this tree open in a browser window and you don’t lose the location of where you are in the tree.
Currently with Swifty Page Manager plugin it seems this is not possible because all the links are javascript snippets and not html links.
This means there is no way (that I can see) to leave the tree intact and open the target in a new page.
This means that you are forced to leave the Swifty Page Manager page, then have to click a link to re-open the Swifty Page Manager page, wait for it to load, then start scrolling or finding the page you were at before you exited. If you have hundreds or thousands of pages then this is a signicant time waster.
Please consider adding the option to open targets of the buttons and title in a new window, eg 1) by making (some of) the links html not javascript so that you can right-click on them and select Open in new tab, or 2) by having an option in the settings of the plugin to allow the js links to open in a new window/tab…
Bedankt!
]]>Hi, currently in order to make the red buttons visible (ie the Add, Edit buttons etc) one needs to click on a page title to show these buttons.
Maybe you have a reason for doing that, but I don’t see that reason. It just seems like an extra click that is not really needed.
My request is that you consider making the buttons appear when you hover over a page title.
Thanks for your consideration.
]]>Hello,
I have around 1900 pages in my website and recently started using your plugin Swifty Page Manager. It is very useful to me but from some reason I can’t edit/preview in new tap/window. Is this a know behavior. I am using wp 4.7.2–ar and version 3.0.1 of the plugin. It is very annoying going back and forth when trying to edit many pages.
One more thing, it will be great if you can add “quick edit”function.
thanks for your help.
Hi there,
in the code I can see a dropdown menu for page template when making a new page. I’ve uncommented this (and other associated mentions of templates in other files), and the dropdown appears and shows all my templates, but on save it doesn’t work.
Is there anyway to get this functionality working?
Thanks
]]>When I have a page listed in a specific hierarchy through Swifty Page Manager and then make a change to that page and save it, it gets removed from the hierarchy.
]]>I love the plugin that you have based this on: CMS Page Tree View
So great seeing people taking it to the next level, especially because the original plugin is not maintained anymore, I think.
Is there a way to load the page tree in a floating windows within WordPress?
It would be so awesome to have a button in the top bar of WordPress to access a page or post tree with just one click.
On large sites it can be so time consuming to have to access the page view on a separate page before being able to click “edit”. It would be amazing to load a page tree view into a modal window for quick access.
What do you think? Can this be done using the WordPress native modal windows within the backend? Is there a way to just isolate the plugins page tree and show it in an iframe for example?
]]>My web site has about 41,000 pages can this plugin handle this amount of pages?
]]>I tried to uninstall the plugins. 3 of 4 succeeded. One was ‘in use on the frontpage’, I was not able to uninstall this one.
I think this is because this one is doing the theme changes, maybe you have to dismiss those changes first?
Anyway, i’m able to login into the ‘Swifty version of my website’. It says “Hello admin (not admin? Sign out)” to me. That’s good.
When i click the WP bar, it somehow has changed the password? Unlikely no? It shows the WP login. My credentials are not valid anymore. But they are the same that makes me admin in the Swifty site…
It’s a multisite installation (with only one site).
Any hints or tips?

Polylang plugin compatibility may at some time? Oh, Would be very good!
]]>Thank you for your plugin, it makes creating and reorganising pages so much easier.
In the last few weeks I’ve encountered a problem, I think the timing probably fits in with the latest update but I can’t be sure.
When I try to move a page in the hierarchy, a couple of things happen:
1. The Swifty page takes ages to refresh, sometimes I have to click my browser’s refresh button.
2. The page order did not change.
I’m using the latest version of Chrome and don’t have a custom admin theme.
I also have some feature requests if you’re looking for something to do:
1. Ability to open/edit a page in a new tab.
2. Ability to Quick Edit from Swifty.
3. Ability to reorganise multiple pages before refresh.
Thanks for your help!
]]>Hi,
i installed the plugin, and when i go to the Swifty Page Manager
i am getting “Loading…” forever
currently the plugin doesn’t work for me.
Thanks,
Shay
Installed and activated, but will not load the pages tree on my large site (8800 pages). Says it’s loading, but nothing is there, and no errors in Firebug console. If no response to this, I will be reporting “Does Not Work” in WP plugins.
]]>1) When I installed directly from the repository, and tried to activate the plugin, I got the following message “The plugin does not have a valid header.” However, when I stopped trying to activate it immediately, and went to my installed plugins, and then tried to activate it, it worked fine.
2) Why is there no switch to allow the width of the Swifty Page Manager tree-view to be set to choice? I have a very wide screen at nigh resolution and the icons are way too far out to the right for comfort. It would be much better if this was configurable so that you can set it to your screen size/resolution.
3) When you use the eye icon to view a page, why doesn’t it open the page in a new tab/window? Surely this would make sense to make a choice in some kind of configuration panel?
4) And why oh why does it install a totally pointless sidebar menu item? Don’t you think I have enough junk in my UX, or do you just like to keep promoting your name?
I tried this a while back and thought it would develop in the right direction, but from what I can see it hasn’t developed much at all. And what has changed, doesn’t seem for the better.
]]>This is frustrating. I’ve been trying different plugins all week. This one looks nice, and has great shortcut helpers, but doesn’t allow me to create a sub page unless it’s parent has been published. Advanced Page Manager AND Nested Pages both allow the parent to remain unpublished. I use “fake” parent pages to group specific hierarchies. But I do not want those “fake” pages published.
If we can’t create sub pages with an unpublished parent, then give us the ability to create a folder of some kind.
]]>Hiya,
We noticed you are using the TGM Plugin Activation library in your plugin.
You are using an old version. The latest version (2.5.2) fixes some – published – security issues as well as offering tons of bug fixes and new features.
We would like to urge you to upgrade to the latest version of TGMPA.

After using the Advanced Page Manager plugin it feels like this plugin only does half the work as I cannot seem to manage parent/child pages. Advanced Page Manager achieved this using drag and drop.
I also liked how Advanced Page Manager replaced the default “All Pages” page without losing any of the default functionality.
Advanced Page Manager is no longer being supported. It’s up for adoption. Why not undertake it or at least use aspects of it?

]]>Your plugin looks great, but isn’t working for me. When I click on the Swifty Page Manager link in the Pages Menu, the page loads and says “Loading tree” but then just sits there and nothing loads or changes. I’ve waited several minutes since I have a large number of pages (300+), but it doesn’t ever load the tree.
