Upon my first install, I tested by adding a very simple post and selected it to sync with 4 other identical sites, and it worked as I would have expected.
I then tried making an update to the source post by adding an image, and it worked and made the update to 4 sites but one of the 4 only had an image placeholder and another of the 4 added a featured image to the post which wasn’t selected on the source at all, so the odd behavior started.
I then tried to use wpBakery Page Builder with the source blog and it more or less synced that layout to the other 4 blogs. In 2 cases, the image modules were there but missing the image reference, and in 2 other cases, the rows/column layout were changed, though all of the pieces were there and needed rearranging (edited/fixed) on the child blogs.
I also found that on the child blogs, with each edit to the parent post content, new posts were being created with each update to the source rather than editing the single post over and over. So I had to go and delete 7 copied of the same post on the child sites.
Another error I found was the words with apostrophes (“They’re going to the park”) came through fine on the first child blog, but blogs 2, 3 & 4 all had increasing numbers of forward slashes in them:
So, super great idea and some good initial work, but the results were not as expected, and seemed to worsen the more complex the source post was. Having to go and review and edit the child blogs sort of defeats the purpose of the plugin.

Thank you, your team save my lots of time

Go easy to use, thanks! You should consider doing a premium version that takes ACF data across too. This one though is great for how I need to use it.

This is a great plugin and does exactly what it is supposed to do.
I just wanted to point 3 very important issues.

Dear Kamlesh,
Several months ago, you fixed the problem of transferring over complete statements. On 4-15-24 on my host provider Inmotion Hosting, the plug-in no longer transfer these statements over. I am back to using export and import. Word press version 6.5.3.
Please advise.

As an avid user of the Sync Post With Other Site WordPress plugin, I must say it has significantly enhanced my workflow, making content distribution a breeze. This plugin streamlines the process of syncing posts across multiple sites, saving me valuable time and effort.
One of the standout features of this plugin is its simplicity. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to configure and manage post synchronization settings without any technical hassle. Whether I’m publishing a new post or updating an existing one, the plugin ensures that changes are seamlessly propagated to all connected sites.

Hello,
I installed the plugin on one of my websites, but nothing happened, the second site is in a subdomain.
Is there a solution to this problem please?
Thanks

I added two sites but only one site is synchronizing. Last site I added is not updating

Didn’t work. In fact: received a critical error when trying to sync a page update
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /wp-content/plugins/sync-post-with-other-site/includes/sps_sync.class.php:126 Stack trace: #0 /wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(308): SPS_Sync->sps_save_post() #1 wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(332): WP_Hook->apply_filters() #2 /wp-includes/plugin.php(517): WP_Hook->do_action() #3 /wp-includes/post.php(4717): do_action() #4 /wp-includes/post.php(4819): wp_insert_post() #5 /wp-admin/includes/post.php(426): wp_update_post() #6 /wp-admin/post.php(227): edit_post() #7 {main} thrown in /wp-content/plugins/sync-post-with-other-site/includes/sps_sync.class.php on line 126
Downgrading to PHP 7.4 solved the critical error but then no actual syncing took place.

Works great with 4 WP installs that we have, but there is one minor detail that could help it be a top plugin – choose the size/ quality of the image to sync – by default it’s too small and lacks quality. keep up the good work hope it doesn’t go away…

Tested on 3 domains and nothing happens whatsoever!
Rating: 3 stars
First thing: there is no button to sync a post to the other domain. Only a widget where I can select the domain. So maybe it will sync when iupdating or saving a post. I don’t know.
Second: When updating a post, syncing does not happen. No error message, nothing. Just as dead as can be.
Maybe it’s because I use 2FA on the target site. But since there are no messages and no errors, I’m completely in the dark with this plugin. Will remove.
Edit: okay I created a separate WP Editor account on the target that has Wordfence 2FA disabled. Now posts ARE synced. So I changed my 1 star review to 3 stars. Why 3 stars and not 5? Because I cannot set or change the Author on the target site. That means that I have to adjust that with every sync. If that function is added, and working automatically, I can go to 5 stars.

It would be nice to update the domain of the links when they are from the source domain

The language on labels and settings doesn’t always make perfect sense. But the plugin works as described, and I would definitely use it despite the difficult english.

That’s a fantastic plugin. Congrats !
Hope to have it evolve on certain point (retain the parent page attribute) and configuration dependant of the custom post type. But it’s really useful and works well.

A wonderful plugin. Set up in a minute. And afterwards a significant gain in productivity. Yes, one can say, a gamechanger.

Need Update….

Rating: 3 stars
This is an excellent plugin I just give a try and it works fast.
Now, many things are missing and I’m really hoping that developer will work on them.
1. “auto pilot mode & moderation mode”, I’d like to select which roles can publish their posts automatically or with admin approval (moderation).
2. as per current situation, all posts on target site are by admin, not actually person/role who wrote it
3. multiple posts from “all post” section should be selected and sent to target website
4. checkbox is ok inside post just description is confusing. I’d rather say shortly “Send to:…. and than as it is, checkbox site url, and that.s it.
This is like badly missing, but this plugin has potential for sure.
keep up a good work

This plugin is a killer, we are saving a lot of time thanks to Sync Post With Other Site. The support is great as well, the author customized the plugin for us.
RECOMMEND!

Big thanks to the developer! The plugin rocks…
But there are a few improvements needed for the plugin to be perfect.
1. Please make the selection of the website to sync sticky once the selection is made.
2. Please also make sync to 2 websites or more. It only syncs to only one site and you have to do the second one again.
With these updates, it will be so perfect. Thanks

I don’t understand why this does not get more positive reviews.
This is a game changer when working with local / staging sites.
Setup was easy and worked out of the box.
Thanks for the great work @kp4coder!

Great !

This actually works. Thank you. There’s one improvement that can be made: please make the selection of the website to sync sticky once the selection is made. Currently, every time when a post is updated, a selection to sync has to be manually made again.

Great work! Two ideas:
1) It would be great to configure if the post should be live or draft mode on the remote site.
2) If you could carry on the plugin configurations (in my case videography for instance), this would be also great. But as is it is already a milestone!
Thanks a lot for your tool!

If you manage 2+ sites that have shared content, this will be a huge asset. It is quick to setup and the second site is updated nearly instantly. Initiative and well thought out. My only hope is the next version includes the option to request that the Code version markup can be sent for formatting reasons between the two sites, but we are super excited to use this plugin in the meantime.

It is very help fool to maintain my multiple sites. This awesome feature is working best. I recommended using this plugin instead of copy and paste work.
