Is there a way to setup email notifications (to myself) when someone joins/subscribes to one of my Sendy lists?
Thanks!
]]>Hello Romain,
I just signed up to Sendy and I’m using it to send out my newsletters. What can I say, I’m just sorry I didn’t find it before! ??
I then came across your plugin which for WordPress based webmasters is simply amazing. I’m actually surprised Sendy doesn’t have a similar plugin themselves.
Anyway, the thing is I installed the plugin, set it up, but for some reason users are not syncing. I don’t get any error message of any kind, but users simply aren’t registered in Sendy.
I’m thinking maybe I’m doing the setup wrong. Maybe I’m getting the list ID wrong… my list ID is something like XSzzn.. which to me seems like a weird ID with the two dots at the end and all. Does it look like a correct ID to you? And if so, do you have any other advise as to what I could test to find what isn’t working?
I look forward to your comments, and once again thank you very much for such a wonderful plugin! Do you take donations?
Best,
Guillermo.
This plugin doesn’t appear to subscribe new wordpress users if they are added by the wordpress admin. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
I’ve found a solution, though it requires a third party and another plugin to work.
Using zapier.com and the Hookpress plugin for wordpress, I’ve created a “zap” that listens for a webhook to activate then sends the new wordpress user email to another webhook connected to my Sendy subscribe url.
Sign up at zapier.com and use this link for the zap: https://zpr.io/gJ3m and install the Hookpress plugin.
Step one: Copy the webhook url from the first step when creating your zap.
Step two: Add a new webhook using the Hookpress plugin and paste the url from step one. Action = user_register, fields = user_email.
Step three: Continue to configure your zap. In step 5, enter your Sendy subscribe url. Should be something like https://domain.com/subscribe
Step four: Test and turn zap on.
Step five: Hassle-free automation — make a margarita, you’re done.
If you need help with this setup, feel free to respond to this post.
]]>Hello there,
This plugin looks like it will do everything I need; however, it is conflicting with another plugin.
I’m currently running WooCommerce and the https://www.itthinx.com/shop/affiliates-pro-for-woocommerce/ Affiliates Plugin.
When I activate the Sync to Sendy plugin, the Affiliates plugin – on the left navigation bar within the WordPress admin panel gets replaced by the Sync to Sendy navigation.
I cannot get rid of the affiliates plugin, and I would REALLY like to use this sendy plugin.
Do you know what I need to do in order to have both functioning?
Thanks
