I had some doubts when I read the reviews, but it seems that maybe people where not able to use it correctly, although it is very easy: add your Sendy subscribe URL, and the list where you want to subscribe your users.

It works perfect! It is exactly I I needed.

tested this plugin and it works ??
at least it does for the users that register via the normal WP login page. And i think that is what this plugin was designed for.

List ID is not a small number but the long string of numbers and letters you find in the list overview. Once you have inserted that string the plugin works fine.
