Hello,
I have installed the tabber widget on my site, you can see here: itdoesnttastelikechicken.com
I would love to change the colours of the widget, more than just the options given in the settings. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks,
Sam
]]>I am trying to add this tabber in wordpress 3.5 using a child theme based on twentytwelve. After creating a tabber, I dragged and dropped tabber widget into widget area. Selected the tabber I created from the drop down menu. After that nothing happens. Since I haven’t used this plugin before and there are no screenshots. I am guessing I am supposed to add widgets inside tabber widget.
]]>Hi All,
Not sure 100% but it seems that I am not being able to modify the CSS in the themes of this plugin.
I’ve tried a bunch of different things without success.
What I am trying to do right now is to change the tab text color to white instead of black. I am using the light colored rounded edges.
Can someone please assist me in this?
Thanks a bunch!
Dani
]]>Great plugin, was working perfectly, until I upgraded to WP 3.3.2.
IT′S NOT WORKING: All tabs are listed below each other, no tabs.
Any solution?? Thnaks
]]>I am using WP 3.3 with Twenty Eleven, and no widget areas are created in the sidebar when I use this plugin. When you set up this widget and place it in your sidebar, additional widget areas are supposed to be created based on how many tabs you specified in the setup. This does not happen.
]]>Great plugin. Thank’s
But, I have a few question.
I’ve just installed this plugin into my sites. In my first site DaKayo, the plugin show normally as the tab display in horizontal order. But in my second site Saham OKe the tab always display in vertical order.
I try to find if there an option to switch between vertical and horizontal order but there was no option.
My question is : why the tab appear horizontal in my first site, but appear vertical in my second site.
Hi ~
I have 3 tabs, but only the 1st tab can be seen. When I click on the other 2 they don’t show the text I’d inserted into their tabber sections in the widget area.
Any ideas on where I’ve messed up?
Hello,
I’m having this errors now and then on my error log and even on any page:
[13-Oct-2011 10:55:48] PHP Strict Standards: Non-static method ITError::handle_error() should not be called statically in /home/myfolder/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tabber-widget/lib/classes/it-error.php on line 150

This is my website: BTW, This is a great plugin!
Thank you!
]]>This plugin really looks promising. Do you happen to know if there’s any chance of switching from a tabbed format to an accordion format with this plugin? I tried the paid PluginBuddy Accordion plugin, but it has a totally different logic than Tabber Widget; so it wouldn’t really work where I need it.
Next question – how do I go about styling the Tabber Widget? Will the CSS classes be the same everywhere the widget is used? Are there any quick tips you can give on that front? Thanks.
]]>Hello,
I’ve noticed that changing the location of the wp-content folder breaks this plugin because it’s not specifically coded to dynamically pull from WP_PLUGIN_DIR or WP_PLUGIN_URL in the database. It seems you’ve hard-coded the wp-content url into your plugin, rather than using global constants that are available. Is there some way of working around this? Ordinarily, I would be able to use the following type of example, but for some reason, I can’t seem to find the proper handle for your scripts and css.
function deregister_tabber_js(){
wp_deregister_script('tabber_widget-idtabs');
wp_enqueue_script('tabber_widget-idtabs', WP_PLUGIN_URL . '/tabber-widget/js/jquery.idTabs.min.js', array('jquery'),'3.1.1', false );
}
function deregister_tabber_css(){
wp_deregister_style('tabber_widget-tabber-widget-rounded-light');
wp_register_style('tabber_widget-tabber-widget-rounded-light', WP_PLUGIN_URL . '/tabber-widget/templates/rounded-light.css',array(), '3.1.1', false);
wp_enqueue_style('tabber_widget-tabber-widget-rounded-light');
}
add_action( 'wp_print_scripts', 'deregister_tabber_js');
add_action( 'wp_print_styles', 'deregister_tabber_css');

Just curious. Strange.
]]>I followed the instructions and this plugins is working great for me on 3.01.
Two questions.
– When I use WP-Minify to combine multiple script files, the Tabber Widget tab content is no longer hidden; content from all tabs appears all the time.
– Links in the standard WP Recent Comments widget, when placed inside a Tabber Tab don’t work. Here’s an example (at least for a few more days). I’ve placed the same Recent Comments widget both inside a tab and below the Tabber Tabs block.
]]>I installed the plugin but I couldn’t find the Tabber tab under Settings to create tabbed menus.
]]>I tried serveral times to get this to work using a few different ideas, but came up with nothing on the main sidebar. The directions for use could be a lot more clear.
]]>probably a stupid question – but how do i actually put content into each tab?
cheers
