After customizing the look of the Table of Contents, when I click on the headings in the ToC of a blog post, it doesn’t jump to the section/achor point. The URL address does change to the correct anchor, for example: when I click on “Third Heading” in the ToC, the URL changes to https://example.com/blog/post1/#third-heading but it doesn’t jump down the page. It’s not working on the Desktop (Firefox) nor on the phone. How can I fix it? Thanks a lot in advance!

My wordpress ver. is 6.6.1, theme is OnyxPulse ver. 1.0.2, php ver. 8.2.16.

I get a warning, then an fatal error on the page where I use the Table of Contacts Block.
Both the plugin (1.4.1) and WP (6.5.2) should be the latest versions.
This has worked fine before (can’t give a “last confirmed with version xxx”, because it have been updated a couple of times since I checked that page last).
The page works fine if I disable the plugin.

Hi, thank you for this great puglin. So far it was perfect, but since last worpdress update, the plugin does not work for new posts.

It says “Your site does not support the “Table Of Contents” block. You can try installing it or removing it completely.”

When I try to (re)install it, it says there is a error.

Do you plan to fix this issue so your plugin will still be compatible with wordpress last version ?

Hello, first of all, thanks for the plugin, it works really well.

I do have a question regarding scrolling to elements in the toc. When I click on a link in the toc then the page scrolls so that the heading I clicked is at the top of the page. However, I have a sticky header of a certain height (say 50px). That header overlaps the content that’s shown at the top of the page. So when the toc scrolls the content to a particular heading then the actual heading is not visible because it’s covered by the header. That doesn’t look so good.

Is there already a way to deal with that situation? Otherwise would it be possible to add one? E.g. by providing a scroll-offset option (or something else).

I’ve been using the Table of Content plugin successfully for the past 9 months. However, today it has failed. I have recently upgraded my hosting with Pressable to PHP version 8.0 and wonder if this has anything to do with it failing. I have asked Pressable and they told me to contact you!

I have set a light background color in the title and background tabs. I have set a radius in the Advance tab > Border & Shadow.

The backgrounds ignore the radius. If the radius is set any higher than 3 or 4, the square corner of the background overlays the radius, causing the appearance of a gap in the radius curve.

How can I set the background color to obey the radius settings?

I like this plugin, but wondered how I would change the side of the screen the button appears on please. The table of contents button is on the left to show the list of contents, but need it on right hand side please.

Any ideas?

Hi there,

Since the last update, all the TOCs that I’ve created using this plugin seemed to have stopped functioning.

In the gutenberg editor, an error message is now appearing: “This block contains unexpected or invalid content.”

All the anchor links have stopped functioning.

Is this a known issue?

this table of contents does not link to sections that its heading starts with a number.
if contents (headings) starts with number like 1. Ethiopia or 1)Ethiopia or 1Ethiopia it’s not links to that section, but it lists on the table of contents.

Just a small improvement, especially for non-english websites: Why not make the title “Table of Contents” editable through the block settings? Thanks for considering this.
