Hi,
We love this plugin and its heavily relied upon for a community portal we run. Weve noticed that its not been updated or supported for a while. Im also seeing some notification that some of the jQuery is deprecated.
Is there any intention to provide a plugin update for this plugin?
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Damien
]]>Hi,
I came across your plugin and have got it to work. From all of the BuddyBoss/Press Project Manager plugins, this is by far the best, and it is a pity that it is no longer supported.
I am not a coder and would like to understand how to set the conditional tags so that any BuddyBoss group member can create/delete a project, and where any group member can add/edit a task.
Also, are there any issues with the plugin able to function properly with the latest versions of WordPress?
Thanks for your help.
Bob
Hi there !
Just a question, is this plugin multisite compliant ?
Regards
I installed Taaskbreaker plugin. The plugin seems to install correctly, but I cannot see the popup window for creating a new project.
If I go to the projects page it does load; however it soes not see group membership so I cannot create projects there.
Any help or advice would be appreciated, thank you in advance.
]]>I had an issue with this plugin where it showed an error message when a non-admin user tries to create a plugin. I checked online and it turns out that several other people are having this same problem but no solutions yet.
I eventually found a solution, though this will allow all group members to be able to add projects, not just the group admin and mods.
Open “taskbreaker-project-management/core/conditional-tags.php” in your cpanel file manager or wordpress plugin editor.
2) Go to line 143
3) Replace if ( groups_is_user_member( get_current_user_id(), $group_id ) ) {
return apply_filters( ‘taskbreaker/core/conditional-tags/can_add_project_to_group/is-group-member’, __return_false() );
}
with
if ( groups_is_user_member( get_current_user_id(), $group_id ) ) {
return apply_filters( ‘taskbreaker/core/conditional-tags/can_add_project_to_group/is-group-member’, __return_true() );
}
Hi, please I want to know if tasks have the possibility to be private for a specic user which has been asigned to. Is it possible?.. every user is able to see all tasks but I need that my users allow only to see their own tasks. Please ??

]]>Hello, I’ve installed BuddyPress and this plugin… At the top of my WordPress admin, it says: The following active BuddyPress Components do not have associated WordPress Pages: Projects. Repair with a link to REPAIR. So, I click on the link it takes me to the BuddyPress Settings in the Admin. The field that says Projects with a drop down menu says -None-. I had a similar problem with a plugin called BuddyDrive, so I attempted to use the same method to repair the problem by clicking on the components tab in the BuddyPress settings and de-select all of the components, then clicking SAVE and then clicking the checkbox to select all components again. Clicking SAVE, once more. This action had fixed the BuddyDrive issue, but didn’t work with this TaskBreaker Projects Plug-in. And, if I click on the drop down menu under the pages tab to manually chose an associated page, there is no page to choose called Projects. The error message saying the projects component has no page will not go away! My question is: How do I get the projects page as an option for BuddyPress, the setting located in the BuddyPress Settings, on the PAGES TAB?? It currently does not exist! It also is not a page showing on WordPress, under the All Pages in the admin control panel. It’s really confusing! Thank you for any help you may provide! Daniel
]]>Hi I’ve installed your plugin and buddypress
In the box “Type Members Name” I enter in a User Name but it doesn’t find any members
I hit the button “Save Task” and I get an Unexpected Error (500) message
Is that because it’s not picking up a User Name?
Can you point me in the right direction to resolve this?
Thanks
]]>Hello!
I installed your TaskBreaker – Group Project Management and had high regards with your work on this plugin – Re: your group task management solution. Hope you could do more to support this kind of tool.
I am writing to see if you could help me to get action results from Tasks and Settings link actions. Currently, I got no response from any of these link actions – same response I got almost a year ago.
I would be grateful for kind fix.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
]]>The truth is that the plugin is great and it has solved the problem of creating tasks within the work groups which makes the system ideal for my consulting website. The problem I observe now is that it does not save the modifications within the tasks and also note that a year ago the plugin has no update and I suspect that it could be the cause of the problem. The question is whether an upcoming update is planned or if its development is discontinued. Greetings.
]]>Some profile notifications disappear when the plugin is active (“a href =” not present in “td class =” notification-description “”)
It had been solved but in reality it was never solved.
How can I solve this problem?
Hi, All tasks I create state ‘Past Due’ when I’m using the British date formate or d/m/y. Is there any way of fixing this as I don’t want to use the American format? Thanks.
]]>Hi.
Did you support Arabic language ?
in get_current_user_tasks you don’t filter closed tasks
fast workaround – add in widget-recent-tasks.php if(!$task->completed_by){
but that’s not the perfect solution – would be good to have option/filter for that and any other potentially useful params
For example, the URL which is not working when I activate the plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-hashtagger/ What this plugin does is turn any TAGS into HASHTAGS when you use # or @ (for usernames) considering I use Buddypress, this has become an extremely important feature for my site. But this requires the use of # in the link for these hashtags throughout my site to work.
Which means I have to find a workaround for Project’s tasks & settings page link/location settings…
Is there a way to remove the # from the link used within this plugin’s settings?

]]>Hi,
Thanks for a great plugin!
One issue I have with it is that it says “past due” even when the due date is set to the future. I thought it was a time zone issue but I don’t think so, as it shows “past due” even when the due date is set about a week into the future.
I set one task to be due in one month’s time and that seems to be working ok.
Any way to resolve this?
Also, just a suggestion for any future updates – a calendar showing all tasks (and filter by projects) would be awesome!
Thanks
]]>Hello,
I can’t fix a problem with the plugin : a user (contributor or author) cannot create a new project, and I don’t know why.
He receive everytime the same massage (even he is the administrator of the group) : “There was an error trying to add project in this group.”
Can you tell me what’s wrong with my parameters ?
Thanks a lot
Fred
It is not possible to update tasks unless you also change the due date. I can edit a task – add members, edit description – but after clicking the “Update Task” button it changes into “Loading…” and does nothing. The changes are not saved. It works only when I also change the due date.
]]>Every time I want to create a project I get the following error: “There was an error trying to add project in this group.”
Can you tell me how to fix it?
]]>Hi, I was wondering if you have any plans to enable file attachments for task comments. Our group needs a way to submit files for tasks and allowing uploads to comments would be an ideal solution. (Note: I also posted a feature request for this in Github.)
Thanks so much! Great plugin.
]]>Hi,
First of all, thanks for that plugin. It’s pretty much what i was looking for!
I have some questions though:
– Regarding the updates, why don’t you explain what changed? I have no idea why i am updating the plugin for.
– Regarding translations, i did translate the plugin into French. It’s my first time using this platform for translating so i have no idea how it works. It says that there is no French editors so how the translate lines can be validated?
Thank you for your time!
]]>Hello,
in my setup (WP multisite, BP and all BP related plugins network activated) the TaskBreaker plugin does not send email notifications as described in the plugin description. It only generates BP Notifications. Although there are the 2 Project Management options in users’profile E-mail settings, they have no effect whether I set them to Yes or No – there are no emails generated in either case.
Other email notifications like @mentions, etc. are workin properly.
Regards,
Stefan.
I translated plugin on russian week back, but translation still in status “waiting”. How long much wait?
]]>Hello and thank you for this plugin. Its working straight out of the box.
Only issue i’m having is that its messing with my wrappers. When I activate Taskbreaker all my sidebars (entire site) slide down.
You’re welcome to have a look at our site : (https) ohso.red/projects
My theme : valenti.cubellthemes.com
I love this plugin and really hope you can help me fix this.
Thank you.
Whenever I try to assign tasks, I get a return of undefined and the task is not created. This is both with and without attachments while all other information is provided.
]]>I have noticed that some notifications in the profiles are illegible in the descriptions.
I also performed some tests disabling the plugins but without getting results.
I enable the plugin, and the descriptions of some notifications disappear.
How can I solve this problem?
Hi Dev,
I would like to inquire if it is possible to make Taskbreaker allow every group member to mark task completion instead of just assigned member, and if we can track the progress of completion in total? It would be a very cool feature to have.
Scenario:
I have a task needed to be done by 12 person in a group
Assigning the task to 12 person would be tedious
Instead I assign the task to a group and everyone can mark the completion
I can track who has marked it complete and who doesn’t to ease communication
Please advice. Thank you!
]]>Hello,
I assign a sub site as buddypress root site in multisite, and activated buddypress in networkly, that means I used the B method:
B. Network-wide Activation – BuddyPress root blog in Secondary Site
https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installation-in-wordpress-multisite/
so, I activated TaskBreaker networkly too(it will not work if it is only activated in BP root site, and I think the right way is the project will still show up at buddypress setting even if TaskBreaker is only activated in BP root site). and I did assign Project page in bp root site: https://prntscr.com/iy22bn
and I found some errors at backend and frontend, please check the screenshot:
and it require repair pages associated WordPress Pages
https://prntscr.com/iy1tzj
so I just support TaskBreaker does not support this situation yet, although Project menu shows up at BP group menu items, but there is error when try to post task: https://prntscr.com/iy1xdr
By the way, I would like submit some features, Let me explain what I want do with task:
Since Bp site is mostly used as user community, and I would like publish some tasks, these task are just like write an article or posts. Also, the users need to apply for the task, and only the users whose applying is approved are allow to do that task. and we will send these users a gift as award.
feature request here are:
1#Option: only group administrator can post project.
2#Add a tab to show applying users under a project page even this the project is belong to a BP private group.
3#Option to enable projects are accessible to any users or only to group members. I mean group administrator can optional enable/disable a specific project is visible to any user or only group members. if it is only accessible to a specific group members, the projects in project archive list page will show up for those members.
