Hello, this plugin I am being notified constantly that is abandoned and risk of causing issues with my site. Is there any way to fix this and update the plugin so that no issues persist? Or is there an alternative to this plugin for calculating taxes? I am at a loss. Thank you very much!
]]>Hi
I’m getting memory exhausted error in the standard tax tab after uploading tax tables
Also, it can’t be undone, and even returning the back up isn’t helping I don’t know what to do
After installing Tax Rate upload, my taxes are double what they should be. Any idea why
]]>Can you tell me if the plugin is PHP7 compatible? The checker is telling me that :
651 | ERROR | Extension ‘mysql_’ is deprecated since PHP 5.5 and removed since PHP 7.0; Use mysqli instead
IS this actually an error or is the plugin using both versions?
]]>Hi There,
I had to upload all 50 states tables and everything works well but NJ.
In the Dashboard the rates show but they are not being calculated in the front end.
Any Idea why this would happen?
]]>Hi,
Great plugin, thank you for the great work.
We need to charge taxes for all 50 states and everything went well but California.
For some reasons the table upload is successful but the taxes rates do not seem to show in the back or front end.
Any idea why this is happening?
Also what is the purpose of “Priority” I am having an hard time grasping it.

Best,
]]>I’ve used this to upload tax files. Everything was fine until I loaded the last one. Now the standard tax page is showing up blank. Everything under the tabs on the page is gone.
]]>Thanks for making this plugin available. I’m trying to use it and looks like the table I downloaded is a different format than what the plugin is expecting. Did taxrate.com change thier format, did I download the wrong file, or?
In the file I downloaded from taxrate.com (TAXRATES_ZIP5_WA201603.csv) I have these columns: State,ZipCode,TaxRegionName,TaxRegionCode,CombinedRate,StateRate,CountyRate,CityRate,SpecialRate
And the sample file looks to expect these:
Country Code,State Code,ZIP/Postcode,City,Rate %,Tax Name,Priority,Compound,Shipping,Tax Class
The error I get is “Sorry, there has been an error.
The CSV is invalid.”
Hope someone can shed so light on this.
Thanks,
AJ
If someone pick up product in the store, they don’t pay for shipping but they need to pay the local sales tax.
How can we add sales tax to the cart for a pick up in store?
Please let me know.
Thanks

]]>Hi –
I have set Display Prices During Cart and Checkout: Including Tax
and
Display Tax Totals: As a single total
But the tax isn’t being calculated in the shopping cart. Not sure what else I might be missing.
Any help would be appreciated.
]]>Hi, this was very easy to install and it works fantastic. I was more than happy to make a donation because of that and the massive time savings.
My only question is: What does priority do? There are support questions about it, but I can’t seem to find what it is actually used for.
Thanks!

Despite all the “shipping” boxes / settings being checked & in place, the website still isn’t calculating sales tax on the shipping amount?
]]>I am about to upload the csv file and the FL csv from is formatted differently from your sample. I am formatting the csv to match your sample however, the sample lists Rate % in whole numbers (20, 5, 0, 10, 2). The csv from taxrates lists tax rate % as percent of a whole number (.070, .065, .050, etc.).
How should I edit this column before importing?
Also, there is no “tax class” in the FL csv file i downloaded from taxrates.com. Can I just create the header and leave the column blank?
Thanks for the help.
]]>Our shop is running a sale on some of our products and we need to charge sales tax on the total sale BEFORE any discounts are taken (Washington law). However, the opposite is happening – sales tax is being applied on the discounted amount.
Is there a setting or a way to update this? I can’t seem to find anything about it.
Thanks in advance for your help.
]]>When a customer enters their 9 digit zip code ( Thats the standard zip code length for the United States XXXXX-XXXX ) It calculates nothing . Your plugin Ignores the first 5 numbers of the zip code if a customer enters their complete 9 digit zip code . If a customer enters only their 5 digit zip code , and leaves the last four numbers off , then it works . So for the plugin to work , customers have to incorrectly only enter the first 5 digits of their 9 digit zip code .
]]>– If you accidentally click the “Add Tax Rates!” button before choosing a file to upload, the plugin will go crazy and start adding tens of thousands of blank entries that take a while to fix or get rid of. And even if you do choose the file first, the plugin keeps showing a different number for the “Total Number Of Zip Code Rates” each time you view it. Clicking refresh in your browser will show a different number each time. Why?
– It would be VERY nice if the plugin could import the rates so that they are sorted according to the ZIP code. The random way entries are currently imported makes it nearly impossible to find and change a particular rate if you need to.
]]>Hi Guys,
So I installed this plugin, and I went into Woocommerce > Settings > Taxes > and I don’t see anything showing my taxes.
Do I need to do anything extra than just install and activate this plugin?
]]>I want to change all priority to 1 and set Charge Tax on Shipping to No.
For Change all priority I select Yes from drop-down and click submit and receive message confirmation.
For Charge tax on Shipping I select No from drop-down, click submit button and get the confirmation message.
Then I select my file for upload. However the priority is 0 and the Shipping box is checked for all 442 rates uploaded.

Maria
Hi. I am not sure this is a Tax Rate Upload issue but I need to ask the question. On our site https://highlandorthopedicsupply.com (running woocommerce) we have over 400 products installed; over 2,000 with variations and all of the them were added with WP All Import. We are preparing our backend operations for launch and we found that the Order Page in the Woo Dashboard wouldn’t load. Our investigation showed that there were 150,000+ rows in the Standard Tax Table that had been added somehow and that was breaking the site! (We had only loaded the NY State tax rates using the plugin). All the rows were empty except for the US designation and shipping was checked. Over the weekend, we dumped that table out of the db and there are now only the New York taxes in the system. Have you seen anything like that before? So far, the site is stable….
Thanks.
]]>I am being charged double tax on the check out page. I can see it is because I must have mistakenly added the state rate separate from the county rates, and the county rates include the state rate.
I tried to delete the state rate line, then I get a message that says the number must be greater than one. And the state rate line continues to recreate itself.
With the state rate gone, I am being prompted to make the county tax rates by zip code all with a priority of 1. This is pages and pages of updates without a one click button.
I was going to delete the entire rate table and start over, but I wasn’t sure how to delete the pages of rates by zip code.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks!
]]>No matter what I do, the sales tax will not calculate! Any suggestions?
]]>Hi, I am working on a project e-commerce site that also sells alcohol. WA state, I need a “Excise ax” added to the alcoholic products on top of Sales Tax, is there a way to achieve this and how? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks for your Sales Tax plugin, makes life a lot easier.
]]>Do you need to change the table from the one downloaded from the State of WA? Need to add US column on the left?
Compatible with WP 3.8.1?
I get an error after uploading csv file….need this to work on a site currently up…woocommerce configured for one item sold online to be shipped and taxed.
Please help as soon as possible, thanks.
]]>We are having a problem where we can’t deselect the option to charge tax on shipping. The plugin version is 2.31. I see now that there is a 2.41 available… we just didn’t know.
Is there a reason why the WordPress dashboard wouldn’t show that there is an update for the plugin, and let us auto-update?

]]>Your plugin worked great to download all the different tax codes by zip code for MN. However, now with 1,023 lines in the Standard Tax page and no priority automatically entered (that would have a nice touch), the wordpress standard tax rate page loads but won’t let me change anything. I should say it will let me slowly add a priority, one by one, but it takes literally 5 minutes for WordPress to allow a new click. Too much data!
So, unless there is a way to upload all the priorities to 1, I either have to manually enter all of them or delete the tax rates row by row (another 5 minutes each click). Surely I’m not the only one with this dilemma?
]]>I have uploaded tax rates from a CSV file. I have different rates for different zip codes in my state.
The tax rates for the state changed so I uploaded the new rates, problem is now I have two rate for the same zip code.
Does this plugin replace the old uploaded information?
]]>I installed the plugin but I cannot find it. Where do I click to use it? Thanks.
]]>Not sure if this is a known issue or just on my end.
Using a Woo theme with no other woocommerce plugins.
My .CSV loads perfectly and all other functions work. However the “Priority” field is set to “0” for all entries. The cart works but no other entries can be added and the standard tax page times out after a few minutes.
I uploaded a cvs tax file and it froze my site. Need to fix it but cant figure it out
]]>Hi there. I just downloaded the plug-in and imported all CA rates. However, on my checkout page, the tax is not displaying and the total amount does not include the tax. Any ideas?
