Hello,
I’ve been using this plugin for a month on a BIG dev site, the plugin worked great, but I updated to wordpress 4.0 the other day and now the plugin does not work any more. Kind of freaking out as the client wants to take the site live very soon.
What’s happening is that when you search a taxonomy category, then press “search” the results and page come up completely blank on the site… has anyone had any experience with this issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

]]>I have custom taxonomies associated with my media attachments, but while Taxonomy Picker can see my taxonomies, I can’t seem to make it return listings for attachments. (All the taxonomy items are shown has having “zero” items, which is not right)

]]>Can the taxonomy picker be made as a filter? I mean, when I now press the search button, it works as a form. The queyr is done and I get the results back.
I would like to have the taxonomy picker fixed, and when I select some items, the result on the right should refresh. Like a real filter, and not search.
Is something like that possible?
]]>I was wondering, if there is some solution for this problem:
I’ve got a 2 level taxonomy, and then I am filtering it.
So, people are selecting the first level, and then when this selection is made, another drop down is filled with all the 2nd level items that have the selected 1st level category as a parent.
For example
1 level categories:
-plants
-animals
-stones
When I choose animals:
A second filter is shown:
– bear
– lion
– elephant
How can I do that?
]]>I am new to php and I have been doing some simple work on a site that was converted from gconverter and could use help with this one concerning the taxonomy picker. The search results from the text search and the category search produce a different look in the search results page and I don’t know where to fix it.
Please help. thanks

These are the two different examples, the latter being the preferred.

If the plugin author responds, I think I can arrange a donation from the owner.

]]>When you have a multiple value select field and select more than one value and then submit, when the form reloads the selected options are lost.
This does not happen if you only select one value.
The reason is that this plugin modfies multiple values that are posted and makes them a comma delimited string. This string is then checked to see if it matches an option to apply the “selected” attribute.
Multiple comma delimited values will not match a single value.
To fix it I change taxonomy-picker-library.php at line 335:
$selected = '';
if( empty($tpicker_inputs) ):
$selected = ($data_item['value'] == ($taxonomy_name . '=' . $term->slug) ) ? 'on' : '';
else:
$input_value = $tpicker_inputs[$taxonomy_name];
$selected = ( $input_value == $term->slug) ? 'on' : '';
endif;
To be this:
if( empty($tpicker_inputs) ):
$selected = ($data_item['value'] == ($taxonomy_name . '=' . $term->slug) ) ? 'on' : '';
else:
$input_value = $tpicker_inputs[$taxonomy_name];
// Multiple values are comma delimited.
$input_value = explode(',', $input_value);
if (in_array($term->slug, $input_value)) {
$selected = 'on';
}
endif;

]]>Hello,
I am trying to use your plugin but is not working fine for me…
I have multiple taxonomy and appear de dropdown options correctly but what I want is that when I select 2,3,4 options of the dropdown menu show me ONLY the posts that have ALL this options.
For example if I have 2 taxonomy that are Location and Gastronomy and I want to select “Malasa?a” in location and “Italian” in Gastronomy I only want to see places that are in Malasa?a with Italian food.
So the query must use “AND” instead of “OR”. How can I change this?
Thank you!

]]>Hi, I’m trying to change the order of my categories in the Taxonomy Picker and haven’t been able to find a solution. I have tried using “My Category Order” and “Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order” but they don’t work (although I was sure it worked before I put in any posts, weird).
Anyway, I’m not a programmer so I would be pretty wary of messing with the WP files. Does anyone know of a solution? Even if I could change the order from descending instead of ascending would work?
Thanks
graham.
