Excellent add-on, I was looking for this for a long time. Thank you very much!

I am using teachPress just for publications and have found it offers flexible display and filter options, encouraging me to augment my records with more metadata.
I manage references in Zotero and export in BibTex (or Beter BibTex) and there’s generally good compatibility, though my (Mac) install of Zotero generates an empty first line that has to be deleted before being read by teachPress or else no items get created. Given that this issue was raised previously by @tfriedri (Can’t import bibtex), I’d like to echo the request for the plugin to ignore any initial blank lines before reading data.
Also, the manipulation of the display of publications is handled by PHP, which works fine in normal operation, but this causes issues when creating static snapshots (e.g, when using wget, it generates many additional pages). Ideally, I’d like to see (the option of using) JavaScript instead, as with bib-publication-list on GitHub. Is this possible?
Thank you.

Teachpress plugin is a must-have for BibTex publication management with WordPress. Bulk import works well even with thousands of documents, template system customization works perfectly, the plugin is very stable and reliable.
The best tool we found for this purpose (the only?).
We haven’t tested the Courses Management as we didn’t need this part of the plugin.

I had been adding each of my publications to WordPress individually and battling other plugins for formatting and Altmetrics. This teachpress plugin does it all so easily. I exported my publications to Bibtex format, upload the Bibtex, and imported into teachpress. Then just have to add the shortcode to show all the publications. This makes is really easy to stay up-to-date.
One request is to have the option to show the Altmetric as medium bar (instead of donut) and have it show up automatically without the need to click the Altmetric link.

What a wonderful tool. Breezy documentation and excellent display. Still tinkering with the settings, but this is a win. Thanks so much!

I am using TeachPress on my personal academic web page to show a list of my publications, and it works great for this purpose. Giving it five stars is, for me, a no-brainer.

This plugin works great, and does the job well. My only negative comment about this part is it lacks the ability to really customize the way your publications are showing up in a list. Otherwise, it’s robust and well designed.
My real issue with this plugin now is how large the install was and consequently how difficult it is to get rid of it after you try to uninstall it. Even after using their database cleaning tool to prepare for uninstall, it still left multiple tables in my database and Teachpress boxes were still showing up in various places on my site. Not a clean uninstall at all. Now I am having trouble trying to get it off my site.

I was looking for a plugin that supported the full functionality of BibTeX and used a database for extracting articles based on tags or authors. This tool solves the problem.

Great plugin for managing papers. We only use the publications portion of the plugin. So far the support has been great. We hope this plugin stays actively updated!

Great plugin!!! But there is a problem for Bralizians’s Authors.
The surnames Junior, Filho, Neto, Sobrinho, etc. should always be preceded by a LAST NAME and space, for example, R. Vieira Junior. Use space for compound names.
Examples:
Ramon Rosa MAia Vieira Junior >>> Vieira Junior, R. R. M.
Alberto Silva Filho >>> Silva Filho, A.
Pedro Souza Medeiros Neto >>> Meideiros Neto, P. S.
Ayrton Senna da Silva Sobrinho >>> Silva Sobrinho, A. S.

Very well-coded and easily customizable. It works like a charm.

I like this plugin. It is very useful. I would like to have the possibility to have to add my own publication type. I know it would not go along with BibText cause it has its own types but maybe if we could deactivate it.
Thanks !

A very useful plugin for presenting academic publications in a highly configurable manner, and the author is very responsive to any questions.

Since so many problems appear after each upgrade I give a three start to this plugin. After upgrading teachpress to 5.0.6 to get rid of a couple of bugs, suddently the list of tags and the regarding ID has been disappeared. Therefore, it is impossible to use tplist and so on when you don’t have any idea what is the ID of the desired tag.

I am using the plugin to generate a list of publications on my personal webpage directly from a bibtex file and it does a great job!

It’s real a great plugin with many possibilities to work for
academic society.

I am using the plugin for showing publications on a multi-site installation of different professors in different groups. This works like a charm. The ability for users to see already added publications and add them to their list if they are a coauthor is excellent, this avoid duplication. I like the tag clouds also.
One thing to improve could be documentation. Of course, it is a simple plugin to figure out and the author is highly responsive. So, I am satisfied.

This plugin works great as advertised… the only problem is that it is a challenge to extend it with plugins like PODs and custom fields.
