I think your Testimonials product is much better than any other out there, but I do have an issue. Testimonials don’t appear on the testimonials page in my site.

I have had this problem in the past and somehow it was tied to the fact that the site was not yet published, and was developed under another domain, and so the testimonials page did not have a “real” .com page to go to. Is this possible?

I do not know how to troubleshoot this.

I’m using the Testimonials Solution plugin and really like it. I just added an image to the top of my Testimonials page. I’d like to have a blank line (white space) after the image prior to the 1st Testimonial so that the look is consistently spaced. What do I need to do to achieve this?

Hello, I tried to add testimonials after update. Everything is fine except Visual and Text where I want to add text to. I disabled TinyMCE and re installed wordpress but it does not work again. it does not load Visual buttons above and text area is not available to type.

What should I do? Please help

Hello,

I didn’t do any changes or updates and all of a sudden the ascending/descending button does not work anymore.. When I select “Descending” and then press “Save” it goes back to “Ascending”. How can I fix this?

Hi,

I think this plugin is great. It’s easy to set up and handles well both back end as as a widget. BUT my testimonials won’t rotate, even when I use the it as a widget ??

Is there a way to set it to rotate, as well as how quickly it should fade to the next testimonial and for how long that should stay visible?

I can’t seem to find out how to give access to the Testimonials to any other role besides Admin. I developed a site for a client – I’ve added him as an Editor – he doesn’t want/need all the Admin access for fear he might unknowingly break something. However, how do I give him access to the Testimonials? Nothing I do to the role capabilitites (using Capability Manager Enhanced plugin) gives him the ability to see this. Any ideas?

I’ve written to the developers four times, called them three times, and written on this forum three times. All over the past two months.

I think it’s safe to say that this plug-in is not supported any longer.

My issue was that the plug-in remembered information from its test home, and then delivered 404s in its new home but only for one link: the “read more” link under each testimonial that leads to the full testimonials page. I have spent hours trying to figure out the solution to this issue, and still haven’t. Disabling and enabling don’t work. Completely uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t work. Some file must be planted somewhere that is undocumented.

I’m switching solutions. And you should too.

Easy to configure.
But , because there is a but ^^ as always ^^, it is possible to make an update to make this plugin rotating the testimonials in the page? i don’t want to install it in a widget.

Hi,

After activating the plugin I get a W3C Validation error on all pages in my wordpress site.

The error is caused by an ‘end tag for element “style” which is not open’

The error is located at the front on the following line added to all pages when the plugin is activated

`</style><link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”site name » Feed” href=”https://www.website url/dir/?feed=rss2″ />

The </style> tag being the problem?

Is there a way to remove this redundant tag?

I need to uninstall Testimonials Solution. I like this solution, but when I moved the site from its test site to its actual site, it retained absolute URLs that are giving me 404s.

I can’t figure out where this data is stored, and the plugin creator is MIA.

I’m willing to use TS on this site, but I can’t figure out how to uninstall all of its parts. (I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, but this data is still remembered.)

Hi. I’ve left messages on the Testimonials Solution web site to no avail over the past month, even though there were other people concerned about the same issue.

After launching a client’s web site, I can’t seem to fix the link under the sidebar widget. Right now, the link remembers its test site absolute URL.

I just want to say that after trying so many testimonial plugins I’ve settled on yours as it’s simple to use.

I just have one question, Is it possible to display testimonials in groups on separate pages?

I’m trying to split my ‘Client Testimonials’ & ‘Training testimonials’ but can’t find a way to do that.

I know its designed for the images to be more of an avatar, which aren’t normally allowed to be clicked to show a full-size version. But I think this plugin would be much more useful if you could allow it to do that.

In fact, my recommendation is to make the testimonials into Custom Post Types and allow the user to put in a Gravatar name/email in a custom field, or use the post featured image if you want a different image. Then if the featured image could be linked to the full-size image and accept any auto-lightboxing by other plugins, it would make this plugin super awesome.

But whether you switch to custom post types or not, allowing a link to the full-size image would be super nice.

I’m a designer, so I’d rather handle all of my CSS styling in a single theme file. So it would be nice if I could completely disable the custom CSS applied by the plugin, without simply stripping the attributes.

Also, it would be nice if the widget or plugin could allow for applying a different class to the image. Instead of .avatar, I’d rather it just be .alignleft or .alignright depending on my choice.

I resize the image via the settings page.
The default was I think 48 x 48.

I tried resizing it to 60 or 100, but nothing happens :s

Might this be a bug, perhaps?

Love your Testimonial plugin. I have done a lot of CSS styling to it to match my site.

I am writing to ask if there is a way to style the testimonial itself separately. To my eye, the quote of the testimonial looks best to be justified left. But the Name and Website looks best right justified. I can’t seem to find a way to do this. Is there a way currently?

If not, I would love to request you add a separate class to the name/website info so I can style it differently.
