Deleting a large number at once

Hi,

I’ve just realised that I had my housekeeping set to delete events more than six months old rather than a week old and have 50,000+ events that I need to delete. Is there a way to do this all at once or is it just a case of doing them a few at a time?

Is it possible to modify the plug-in so that instead of DELETING old events, it simply moves them from “Publish” to “Draft”?

Deleting recurring events & ones more recent than the settings

I just installed this and as I’m using the Pro version, too, I have recurring events. Some recurring events were totally eliminated and some were not. I set it for deleting up to a week ago, but it deleted an event that took place today, too. Was the problem with it deleting more than it should not fixed?

Should I not be using it with a calendar that has recurring events?

Thanks for the plugin. Great concept. Please let me know if I should delete it so as not to lose events that are recurring.

Note: I just noticed it says: “This version targets Events Calendar PRO 3.x.” so it should not be deleting recurring events when they have not reached their expiration date, which was June 2014 or later.

Deleting items > 1 year removes all expired

Oops, you need to add the following to protected function criteriaCutOffDate

case 'oneYear': $criteria = strtotime('-12 months'); break;

As this is not present I think all expired events are deleted. Not the intended effect.

I wanted this to work on Version 2 before Version 3 gets out but nothing happene

I activated this plugin at 9:45 am on June 20. The status said “There are currently 37 expired events (this includes remnants of deleted events). Garbage collection takes place once a day – so changes may not be instant.”

I have Enable garbage collection checked
and Expiry criteria is all expired events.

It is now 1:11 am on June 22 and it still hasn’t run. I still have “There are currently 37 expired events (this includes remnants of deleted events). Garbage collection takes place once a day – so changes may not be instant.”
