JPG file in explorer, I right click and press copy. Then go to classic editor and press ^V. It doesn’t work.
right clicking and pressing Paste DOES work, so seems like the hook from ^V doesn’t work as expected. BTW, going back to 1.X works.
]]>I’m realizing that the copy/paste features that were added to version 2.X are causing problems when pasting html from the current document (or another document from the current server). We do this constantly, and there are weird issues that occur when you do that.
Is it possible to add a button to turn on/off the document pasting ability completely?
I’ve just reverted to 1.1.2 and most of these issues just go away, the built-in copy paste works perfectly. This is not a long term solution, I want to use the latest and greatest (and stablest)
I’m trying the “prefer document” button on/off but the issues (such as moving an image with a figcaption) remain in both options.
]]>The plugin looks so nice. If i paste on the back-end, it works so nicelly. However, if I paste on the same form, connected as an admin but on the front side, nothing happens using ACF Form.
Is it something doable ? I would love my users to be able to send their screen captures.

]]>Hi, can you please add an option to default the-past-format to whatever we want? PNG is default when pasting from clipboard. Webp or jpeg should be the default.
You replied in another thread that it depends on the source you are pasting from. Well, yes for files, but we also work with the clipboard… and then it always defaults to PNG as it is bitmap.
Also we can select the format ourselves after the paste, so the input format does not matter at all in the first place. Please please please make the Webp radio selector the default or offer an option to select a default ??

Now… onto the problem at hand which is “GLOB_BRACE“. ?GLOB_BRACE is not supported by all Linux servers. Here is the error that I’ve been seeing on line 156. When I have the plugin active, it breaks the backend of the website completely.

from last update, it became impossible to execute copy/paste of text of a bullet list, you can verify this problem easily
Create a bullet list with 4 items (aaaa, bbbb, cccc, ddddd)
Copy the text “bbbb”, in the same row, following “cccc”
It wan’t copy the text “bbbb”, but, if you verify HTML, will add this after “cccc”:
“<li>ccccc<p id=”the-pasted-async”></p>”
Can you correct this very big problem that prevents from using the fundamental function of copy/paste and force me to disable your plugin?

]]>I’ve loved using this plugin but it is now broken (probably since the update 18 hours ago). Now it won’t let me paste anything! <ctrl><v> does not work and neither does <windows><v>. Both these options worked correctly prior to the update. With the plugin enabled, is is also now not possible to paste anything into a new post. Which is frustrating.
If you can let me know when this bug has been fixed, will be happy to reinstall the plugin in. Until then, it is of no use to me ??

It adds the image correctly. But it is really hard to load the page on the frontend. Because the data code is quite long as it’s a data image.
The loading takes a few min.
Can you please fix it or give us a tip how to manage this?

When Formidable Forms Pro is active and The Paste as well, WordPress throws a 500 internal server error when trying to edit a form at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=formidable&frm_action=edit&id=1.
When The Paste is not active, Formidable Forms Pro works.
I reached out to Formidable Forms support. This is their answer:

Hello, the plugin is quite good, it saves a lot of time when working with external documents.
