I’m having trouble with The Post Grid plugin when trying to import a starter layout. The screen remains blank and does not load the layouts as expected.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far to troubleshoot:

• Verified that all my plugins and WordPress are updated to the latest versions.
• Cleared the browser cache and the cache of my site.
• Disabled all other plugins temporarily to check for conflicts.
• Checked the browser console for errors, and I found the following messages:

@elementor/editor-site-navigation - Settings object not found
wp-auth-check.min.js?ver=6.6.2:2 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'hasClass')
frontend.min.js?ver=3.25.4:2 Uncaught TypeError: e.O is not a function
post.php:1 [Intervention]Images loaded lazily and replaced with placeholders.

I’m also using Elementor, and it seems there might be a conflict, as some of these errors are related to Elementor scripts.

Any guidance on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance for your help.

wondering whether Postgrid can be linked to files (media (mp3’s) / docx)
– think the only way to do that atm is to create a post for each media file ?
– probably too far of the original goal for the component (which is literally awesome!!)

Hello, I noticed there’s a plugin conflict with the “Colibri Page Builder” plugin. When both “Colibri Page Builder” and “The Post Grid” plugins are active, the search form no longer works.

Can you run some tests & see if you experience the same issues? Thank you!

In the Post Grid plugin, when I select a layout, I get on the right hand side the spinning circle for ever, which doesn’t go away, and when I try to remove fields such as category, it is not working. Any help would be appreciated.

By default, the page scrolls to the post grid when clicking on the front-end filter in Elementor. Can this be deactivated?

By default, the date element contains an anchor element that leads to all posts of that date. Is there a way to disable this?

Hi, I upgraded the plugin to version 7.7.12 from 7.7.5 and the shortcode is only showing 5 posts even if I set the post limit to 15 (the total number of posts in the category), if I set it to -1, or if I leave the posts limit field blank.

I had to revert to version 7.7.5 to show all the posts in the category.

Please advise.

I am using the The Post Grid to create a latest articles block on my home page. Using the Editor, I’ve set the hover color of the articles to a different color that matches my blogs’ color scheme. While I’m in the editor, the colors are indeed changed to what I set, but in the live website the colors are not changing. I’ve tried to delete caches, or tried different browsers, but the colors are just not changing in the live version. What should I do?

Since latest update, selecting post by ID is not working. For some reason when logged into the site query will parse posts and show up.

I updated to the latest version (7.7.9) and now you have hardcoded the displays per page field to be 2!

So I have to now manually go in and remove that number 2, so it displays all the child pages.

Please fix on the next update as my site is large and it’s a lot of work to manually update that number

I have created a grid and specified a limit of 1 post. But on the front end it display 9 posts. What is causing this and what is the fix?

Is causing the righthand settings scrollbar to be inaccessible as it disappears out of view, so you can’t get to settings below in the pane. It seems to be clashing with the new(?) width of the editor sidebar of 280px.

I’ve been watching this through all the Betas and as now we are at RC2, I thought I’d let you know.

Using Feedzy own widget, in Elementor, the image of each post shows, no problem.

But with any widget from The Post Grid, no image at all.

I am using the ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) plugin, and I need to know if The Post Grid plugin supports querying through ACF? If so, how?

When clicking on the numbers, the link changes according to the page clicked, but the article does not change on page number 2, pages 3 and 4 change. In addition, page number 1 cannot be clicked when moving to other pages.

The Grid layout looks correct when I’m editing, but does not look correct on the actual home page. The featured images are not showing on two posts, and when you click the title or “read more” it does not go into the articles, it just refreshes the home page. Any ideas where I went wrong?

Hello, I want to deactivate the rotating loader animation in your plugin because it harms performance. The image is already loaded and should be able to be viewed immediately, currently it is greyed until something is loaded completely.

I need an option to deactivate the loading animation or disable the grey out of the preview.

Thank you for the free use of this great plugin.

Today, I spent an hour creating and setting up a Post Grid page.

Having a ton of different Blogs, once I created the first one, making sure all the settings were correct and as required and not wishing to then manually spend ages creating another 20, I added ‘Duplicate Plugin’.

I have used this plugin many times for duplicating posts and pages, works well.

However, when I then duplicated a ‘Post Grid’ page, the settings from the first one I had created, did not ‘copy/duplicate?

So I cleared the cache and tried again …

To make sure, having first uninstalled the fist plugin, I then downloaded another Duplicate Plugin

The results were the same … it seems Post Grid Plugin does not allow for the ‘settings’ of a Post Grid page to be transferrable i.e. they were all default settings?

Any ideas or have I missed something?

My post appears to show the pagination options correctly, but whenever a user clicks another page on the pagination links, it does not actually move to the new page – it just displays the original page 1.

Looking at the pagination link, it does seem to show the correct /page/2 etc. but when it attempts to display that (virtual) page, it simply reverts back to the base / page.

I have tried creating the post grid from the dashboard and by using the guttenberg block but the same problem happens every time.

Activating this plug-in after building a basic header in 2024 causes styling mistakes. The errors do not show up in the backend editor preview but do in the front end making it unusable, elements that are aligned right are floating left in rows.

There is a 1px grey (#e2e2e2) around my posts in the post grid. How can I remove it. I tried searching for the CSS code but I just can’t find anything.

Can you help me change the default Pagination of the post grid plugin to Infinite Scroll? I use the Catch Infinite Scroll plugin but don’t know how to combine them together to create Infinite Scroll for the post grid.

Does not add an External link. When trying to add links to the page itself where the Post Grid is installed
