Even after having OG tags put by this plugin, my website links don’t show preview in WhatsApp chat or not allowed in LinkedIn posts.
I don’t know why this is happening, but when I checked my website with LinkedIn post inspector, I found that LinkedIn doesn’t recognize the OG tags of name, title, image and description. When I checked the suggested fix of adding OG tags, I saw that they need a ‘name’ attribute in all the OG meta tags.
Instead of the default tag put by this plugin :
<meta property=”og:title” content=”[Content title here]”>

LinkedIn suggests this :
<meta name=”title” property=”og:title” content=”[Content title here]”>

Adding a name attribute to these meta tags might be the solution to my problem.

Can you help me fix this?

Hi,

I know that this is an old story, solved in the past.
Checked and used the Facebook Debugger, emptied cache…still the Title is not shared on Facebook. For any page, not only the example.

Everything was OK for the last 2-3 months, than suddenly 3-4 days ago titles are not shared in Facebook.

All elements are up to date:
1. WP
2. Theme
3. Pluggins
4. PHP

Any suggestion? What to do?

Hi, my homepage custom title is not showing on my site. I have a new site with only a homepage, so far. I have tried with & without the Title Fix. I am using X theme from Theme.co. Do you know if there is any issue with this theme?

I was following the forum post and tried the plugin and then the fixes you provided 1 and 3 but I’m still getting just the URL displayed with an empty title display for the home page.

Any ideas? I cleared the patches from my functions.php file for the moment.

I’m using The SEO Framework for all page titles. They are all custom titles. However, it appears the homepage title is not being displayed correctly. It’s only displaying as the Site Name. Even installing this plugin doesn’t fix it.

Do you suggest a workaround other than just changing the name of the site?

I’m using the Impreza theme.

I have just downloaded the “title fix” plugin and activated it. My site was reporting duplicate title tags from Bing and Google.

After installing the plugin, I am still getting duplicate title tags in the code. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, the plugin does not work for me. The error is that when activating the plugin web not shown, the screen is blank completely. I have a day wordpress and install plugins, but the title does not appear on the web. Are there any alternatives that might apply? Is an problem for seo not have title =( Thanks for your kind support and the Seo Framework plugin, which is amazing.
