Hi,
after I have installed The Welcomizer the pages built with Elementor not works correctly. The animations of some widget stop working and some widget are no longer shown.
I have:
WordPress 4.9.1
Elementor V. 1.9.3
Addons for Elementor V. 1.5.3
Elementor Addons & Widgets V. 1.1.4
Thanks in advance
]]>Hi Sebastien, I see instructions for how to upload your pre-created animations, but what about instructions for creating an animation with your own images? Can this plugin support that? Please let me know. Thanks!
]]>I’m getting the above message when I click on The Welcomizer settings. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still have the problem. Any ideas?
]]>Just discovered your great plugin. I’m hoping to recreate https://jsfiddle.net/fq96zm2v/ or similar to the FireFly Effect, using your plugin. Basically a randomly rolling ball. My plan is to make it happen on the background/container of my site. Does this look possible? Any tips?
Thanks,
SL
Hello,
I’ve managed to place some animations in the left header of a theme, so I was very happy!
But when I looked at the site on my mobile or changed the width of my browser to 300px I saw that all of the animation are not scaled/responsive…
Can you please help me?

Having issues with this plugin not loading properly after installing Sucuri plugin and it’s ‘post-hack’ hardening features. Perhaps the method used to load this file is not the best practice, I’m not clear on the details. I have reinstalled the plugin, still same error. Because of this, it doesn’t load the editor properly and the user is unable to add or edit content. Thank you for taking a look if you have some time.

I have no idea how to use plugin “the welcomizer”. Please someone help me to bring a animation to my site boredstrory.com
]]>Hi, I’m completely new to WordPress and to webdesign in general. What I want to do is animate one picture one one post, so that it travels from right to left (it’s a panorama-like very long image). I installed the plugin “the welcomizer” but didn’t get much further than activating it. Seems like I need to create a directory and make it writable, but no idea how and where to do that.
Can somebody give me a “getting started with welcomizer for dummies” kind of answer?
Thanxxx!
After upgrading WordPress from 3.5 to 3.7, I started getting the following debug error running an older (1.4.x) version of this plugin.
WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘Array’ at line 1]
SELECT *, IF(on_event = ”,’0′,’1′) AS event_order, IF(on_event = ‘Manually’,’0′,’1′) AS event_order_2 from wp_the_welcomizer where status = 1 and section_id = ‘everywhere’ ArrayWordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘Array’ at line 1]
SELECT *, IF(on_event = ”,’0′,’1′) AS event_order, IF(on_event = ‘Manually’,’0′,’1′) AS event_order_2 from wp_the_welcomizer where status = 1 and section_id = ‘home’ Array
After updating the plugin to 1.9.x latest, there is no error but the plugin no longer functions. It does not display any link to the settings page in the admin and it does not work on the front end. Any support would be appreciated. Here’s the site in question: https://bit.ly/1bJ24Ez
The plugin fades the content in from the white, that’s why the site is currently barren. Thanks in advance!
]]>Hello! Great plugin! As the title says I would like to know how to make an event trigger when it appears on screen. For example, my site has a one page theme and I want an image to have an animation the moment it appears on the screen while the user is scrolling. The trigger onScroll does not work so could you suggest something? Thank you in advance!
]]>I tried to check all documents of the site but still I dont know how to make it appear on home page of the site
]]>I was having an issue with dashboard widgets and pop-ins in the dashboard admin returning “0” instead of the expected content. Examples are the ‘incoming links’ dashboard widget and the ‘google analytics’ dashboard widget.
I spent some time activating and deactivating plugins and found The Welcomizer to be the plugin causing the issue.
Not sure how I can help you diagnose this issue, but seems there is some script loading in the admin backend conflicting with the normal operation. Perhaps a dynamic load of the necessary script only on the Welcomizer settings pages would be a better practice. Thanks!
]]>I was experimenting with the Welcomizer plugin and an effect on a class didn’t work while on an id worked. When I decided not to use it, I deleted the effects and also deactivated the plugin, but the animation on the class (mouseover) started working and it won’t go. Please help me deactivate this plugin and resolve this issue.
]]>I am not able to get effects working on any other page except the Home page I have made sure I enabled “home”, “Everywhere”, “All categories”, “All pages” and “All posts”.
Is this by design to only work on the “Home” page?
Thanks
David M.
Hi can anyone point out the settings to have a div fade in to 100% opacity on page load – so far the div appears first then does the transition
]]>As I test my animations, I’m needing to go back and forth through the welcomizer panel to bring up the same div settings after each Save. I understand there’s a lot of Ajax goodness going on that makes that happen, but what would really be cool is if beyond a feature of closing the menu when you hit save, if you could hit “Update” or “Save and Stay Here” so that the menu doesn’t collapse and you can continue to edit different settings in the same div page.
Thanks for the 1.5 update and for this consideration. You rock!
]]>Hi! I’m curious if there is a straightforward way to make an animation have more than 2 moves? I’m trying to do sort of a swaying leaf effect with one image as it falls to the ground. Any ideas? Thanks!
]]>Hi Sebastien — I sent you a direct email about a security issue to your wordpress email. Could you get back to me or address the issue here?
Thanks!
Steve
I’d like to initiate a series of animations but only once, on the very first visit to the front page. Any thoughts on how to implement this with Welcomizer? Thanks!
]]>Great plugin!
From the examples on your site it looks like there is no compatibility with IE 7-8. How do you recommend we provide a good user experience for those visitors? Does this plugin fallback to a different visual if it detects a visitor is using an IE version below 9?
Thanks!
]]>This plugin is fenomenal.
However, I get these errors in the wp-admin section of the site:
Uncaught TypeError: Object #<HTMLDocument> has no method ‘observe’ (from the console)
This(I think) prevents me from saving after editing and from looking at the library items which I assume open in a jquery powered lightbox of some kind.
]]>Does anyone have a bug to report before the next version, v1.3.9?
]]>A deeper analysis and restructuring is undergoing.
A new version will be released in a few days.
Thank you for your understanding.

]]>I was wondering if there is a way to use the OnMouseEnter event (or any event for that matter) for one image, to effect the properties of another.
For example if I moused over image1, image2 would do whatever I have set up.
Is this possible? Hope the question makes sense.
Thanks for your time, the plug in is awesome!
]]>Followed all 6 steps
1. Create and make this directory writable: ‘wp-content/twiz/’
2. Upload /the-welcomizer directory and files to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
3. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
4. Find the plugin under the menu Appearance,
5. Configure and save your first movement, or Import a sample twz/xml file.
6. Activate the global Online/Offline status. (The red button at the top.)
then i uploaded an example on https://www.sebastien-laframboise.com/wordpress/plugins-wordpress/the-welcomizer/
but the animation never takes place… what an i doing wrong?

I downloaded all suggested plugins but am not sure which files I need to upload.

oh and what is the purpose of the admin button inside your plugin? if I click it there is a pop up asking me what are the features I want within the administration panel? Is this some kind of a survey?
btw I realize I can only select between two conditions on where to show/load the effects, how about some more options like the https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/widget-logic/ uses? (conditional tags)
