I use the ThemeBlvd Jumpstart theme for most of my client sites. It is the best bare bones theme for custom WordPress development that I have found. The compatible plug-ins are great because they are optional and work perfectly when you do decide to use them. I, personally, always read the full description on any plugin to decide whether it will work for the purpose intended and the theme I am using. When one won’t work exactly as I would prefer or doesn’t work with my theme, I move on to another. I find it childish for anyone to complain about not getting a free plugin as has happened here. Jason is a top notch developer who offers fantastic customer support.

There is an extensive range of shortcodes available in this plugin. Providing you use one of Theme Boulevard’s themes (if you don’t then this isn’t for you), this plugin will allow you to quickly enhance your in-page appearance with buttons, columns, icon, tabs, etc. The plugin author is dedicated, and excellent at his craft.

The theme author is trying to separate functions that shouldn’t be in commercial themes and turn them into plugins. This makes things modular – which is great.

Don’t download it if you don’t want to waste your time. This plugin only works with templates sold on theme blvd.

So, the 1st thing is to buy a template and then use it.

after years of experience in bare HTML coding this shortcodes are very confusing, especially the column feature caused me quite a headache because it is not WYSIWYG but / codes in the editor . Also missing the linebreaks capability
