Hi,
Thanks for the awesome work. The plugin works well; However, I have a concern regarding the CSS styling and code recommendations.
When using the default WordPress theme editor, I receive code recommendations and suggestions while writing or editing code. Unfortunately, this functionality seems to be missing when I use the plugin.
Could you please let me know if there is any way to enable code recommendations while using the plugin? Thanks in advance.
]]>I mentioned this before but this issue was closed and ignored – this is still an issue.
The?ms_theme_editor_src
?function in this plugin incorrectly overrides ALL enqueued files version numbers – even ones provided by other plugins/themes/etc.
You plugin should not effect version numbers of OTHER scripts.
Please fix this issue.
]]>Been using this plugin for some years now for over 20 websites. Recently we upgraded to a new server where my sites are stored. Updated PHP to 8.2.12, moved the sites to the new server and updated the SSL’s per site and now Theme Editor is getting red flagged as a Vulnerability to the website. When I click on the link to see what is up, it goes to no URL. I have deactivated the plugin for now and disabled Auto-Update. Any new versions coming out? It’s been 7 months since the last update. Sites are using WP 6.4.1. and Total Theme by Hash Themes v 2.1.55. Anyone else getting red flagged by the SSL for the site?

Can you check it? improve your plugin?

This theme editor presents a dark blu background with a red font. This is not readable at all. How do I change the default colors for font or background ?

]]>Hi,
Sorry to be a bother. I use a Themedy child theme on my WordPress site, called Derby, which runs on an old version of Genesis. The Derby theme is old and displays many PHP errors that will break the site soon if I don’t update it to the much newer Derby child theme, which also comes with a Genesis update too. But when I try to update the child theme, all my customisations disappear and the site is poorly laid out, unrecognisable from the earlier Derby child theme. Will this plugin of yours be suitable somehow to help me upgrade to the newer version of my child theme, and keep all my customisations? No customisations were ever done in the parent theme – just the child theme.
Thank you, Stu

I like your plugin on the website.
Have you planned an update to wordpress 5.8 / 5.9?

You should probably replace “te-editor” with “theme-editor”.

Hello! I have a client who is using ‘Theme Editor’ plug-in version 2.6 for WordPress and you are listed as the developer. We are trying to identify plug-ins that are no longer being supported on his site. Are you still working on the plug-in to make it compatible with WordPress 5.8.1 and PHP 7.4 or later?
Thank you very much,
Eric

{"status":"1","content":false}
When I first load the plugin’s page the style.css file loads by default just fine, but navigating to any other file throws the above error with content
sometimes returning true rather than false.
I tried using WP Rollback to revert to a previous version but got this message:
It appears there are no version to select. This is likely due to the plugin author not using tags for their versions and only committing new releases to the repository trunk.
Please consider using tags for your versions so users can revert if breaking changes are introduced.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
]]>I have been using Theme Editor by WEBdesi9 for years and wanted to upgrade to PRO.
When I first installed the pro I got a PHP error: “PHP error, bad file/directory permissions or invalid site software configuration”
I guess I should have uninstalled the old version first, but on the second attempt the plugin seemed to install all right.
But when I tried to activate my Licence key I get the error: “License Limit Over!”
I have tried to reach the WEBdesi9 support but it does not seem to exist any more: https://themeeditor.pro/support/
Suggestions, anyone?

Hey @mndpsingh287,
I’m moving my site to WP 5.5 and restoring jQuery compatibility with your plugin via the jQuery Migrate Helper plugin as a temporary solution.
Could you please update the deprecated jQuery calls so we can continue using Theme Editor when the next WP update hits?
Here’re some cases detected by the jQuery Migrate Helper plugin (list might be incomprehensive):

I purchased Theme Editor Pro and never received the license, just a PayPal receipt. The license also does not appear when I log into the site. I contacted support https://themeeditor.pro/contact-us/ and filled out a form and no reply.
I need to get this going ASAP. Please someone reply.

This may be a stupid question but I can’t find the answer nor want to break my website. Can I delete Theme Editor plugin after creating child theme to my site?
Will I lost any content after deleting Theme Editor plugin?
Hi support,
I have tried to delete some lines in the footer.php of a child theme. Unfortunately, I cannot delete them. The background color is dark blue and not white an I am not able to make any changes. How can I edit?
Thanks for a quick answer.
Best regards
Anne
Is it possible to create sub folders within a theme’s files using the free version of Theme Editor? I see that you can upload a file to a sub-directory, but I only see an option to create top-level folders.
]]>I am creating a new WP site and found the Theme Editor plugin by mndpsingh287. It seemed to be perfect, but the child style.css does not work. I searched this forum for people experiencing the same issue. I’ve found that every time someone brings this up, mndpsingh287 blames it on the server the person is using and states, “It’s not a problem with the plugin.” I am using Network Solutions and my PHP is up-to-date. I downloaded this plugin because it seemed to be exactly what I need, yet it doesn’t work. I created the child theme exactly how I should have. Does anyone know how to get the style.css to work?
On the web page I am referencing, the line, “Advanced Steam Boiler Technology That Is Safe, Efficient and Reliable” should appear in san-serif font and red.
