is there a way to exclude some categories from showing in the Thumblated Related Post plugin ?

Hi, Just installed thumblated posts, and have been using it for a day or two.
Went to a meeting to show off the site, and I couldn’t log in..
all ?action urls malfunctioned and returned only blank white pages.
So, remove the plugin, and everything comes back…
