While setting up the shop, I have encountered at least 5 different kind of errors.
This does not work.

My website has over 2000 products.
After installing this plugin it says 26 Products available, 10 Products pending, 127 Products disapproved’
I have no idea what Pending means and several hours later there is no change.
When I click the ‘Manage’ link beside those disapproved it shows me a list of products that all say ‘Product packaging size is invalid’ but on checking the dimensions in Shipping they are set correctly at 35x25x2.5cm
I am not sure why it only uploaded certain products and not all my products. Worse still, when I actually check the shop in TikTok Seller Central it reports about 70 products available – but many of these are ‘hidden’ on my woocommerce store (I have no stock and not sure if I can get more but do not want to delete yet) so should not really have been uploaded in the first place. But why here does it say 70+ products, but in the plugin it says only 26 available?

If you’re lucky, it MAY link to TikTok. IF it does link, configuring it is close to impossible. IF linking is successful, GOOD LUCK with uploading products. WiX is looking better all the time…

Totally useless and TikTok did not respond to about 4 support questions. This plugin’s ‘Connect’ button brings us to the TikTok Shop then generates a ‘error 5000′ on TikTok with no way to resolve it or proceed. Have tried about 15 times, same error. Uninstalled plugin, reinstalled; same error. Have opened 4 support tickets with TikTok, took days to respond with copy-and-paste useless responses, 2 still open after 3 days. Have probably spent 8 hours trying to get it to work. This is a good example of the Wild West failure of WordPress’ ecosystem: no quality control of plugins, inadequate customer support; can’t be trusted if you are running a business instead of a hobby.

Just refused to connect to the TIkTok sever. Cant log a ticket cause asks for a Account ID where no help is found to find said ID without it you cant hit the submit button (damn stupid if you ask me)

This thing is making mobile menus on elementor pro not to work in addition to having a huge negative impact on performances. The loaded js files and third party sources are slow. Do not install this on your site

We just open a seller account, we have upload all government possible documents, we let them know that we re ready to cooperate with them in any form or shape. in less than 24 hours our shop has been closed permanently. Wasting of time and they don’t tell you exactly what they want. Wired, something wired. Never they are honest to tell you what is happening, they just bull sheet you. Shame

With this plugin enabled, if the customer choose to pay via credit card then the browser stuck wile redirecting to the Bank payment page.

There is no option anywhere to connect to TikTok Shop, all this does is add products to catalog for ad campaigns.
Documentation no longer matches the onboard process that is displayed.
It is misleading to suggest that this plugin syncs with TikTok Shop because it doesn’t. Even TikTok have told us to use the Aftership feed plugin instead.
This plugin is probably useful for those looking to advertise on TikTok, but in its current form is no use to me.

We have been an advertisers on TikTok for a while and so we decided to install the TikTok for Business plugin to cement the integration between our site and our TikTok Business and Advertising accounts. Whew… what a disaster. Neither I nor my product people realised that the single product page was broken… no images were showing throughout the site, they were not showing on the single product pages for any product. The single product page was broken, with no JavaScript executing, the detailed description not showing, ratings not showing, page footer not showing… just a strange half page thingie that resembled a working page (which is why we all missed it). After much mucking about the WordPress debug logs fingered the TikTok plugin
Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 1 passed to Logger::maybe_output_pixel_data() must be of the type array, string given, called in .../wp-content/plugins/tiktok-for-woocommerce/logging/Logger.phpAfter terminating (deactivating and deleting) the TikTok plugin (with extreme prejudice, I might add), everything was back to normal. TikTok can eff-around with their app… they shouldn’t eff-around with our livelihoods!
That is 3-hours of my life that I am never getting back… not to mention the lost revenue, and damaged reputation.

Broke my product page and Add to the cart option. I had to waste a day figuring this one out, which is the most expensive part of the experience. Plus the frustration. When active, it breaks the UI of my product page.
Let us know when it’s back working properly, I’ll then give it another try and update the review.

I have tested in a production website on the insistence from the marketing team that it will solve all our “data inconsistencies” by installing and configuring this plugin; at first it was everything great, for the first few days there were no errors, the client could start his ads and track performance, but out of the blue (no change in code, server, anything) the events started to not work properly and the TikTok pixel helper reports that advanced matching is disable in platform ?? wth is this? you can’t be serious with this type of integration? In 3 days without anyone doing anything it randomly breaks!</p>
