Plug-in had been working, noticed yesterday the page where I had deployed it was showing the code of the messages rather than working. I deleted and reinstalled the plugin, when I try to activate I get this error message “Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_timezone_string() in?G:\PleskVhosts\shophorsefeathers.com\httpdocs\wp-content\plugins\timed-content\lib\class-timedcontentplugin.php?on line?47“
]]>Hello, you beautiful people, that developed this exceptional plugin.
I’d like to know if there is any way to insert a list of dates to not to publish my shortcoded content, as in: 2024-10-12, 2024-10-13, 2024-10-19, 2024-10-20, 2024-10-26… etc, that being Saturdays, Sundays and local holidays.
It would be a pain to insert them one by one, selecting on the calendar. I have the AI list generated list from today, until 01-01-2030.
I’ve entered via FTP, but couldn’t identify my generated codes… If that makes any sense.
Thank you in advance,
Mauricio.

]]>Timed Content appears to be using Universal Time. Is it possible to get it to use WordPress settings time zone?
]]>Great plugin! Really serves a purpose.
Our use case is that users will go to this page and then, at a specific time, content related to a concurrent webinar will become visible. However, this seems to require the page to be refreshed in order to invoke the change.
Is there a parameter that can be added to the shortcode that will automatically refresh the page at the scheduled start/show time? That would be really great. Would be nice if the page would also refresh at the scheduled end/hide time.
Thanks,
Marty Parker
]]>Dear support team,
I am using the Timed Content plugin on my website to display weekly content. However, I am encountering an issue because a month does not always have exactly 4 or 5 weeks, causing my current configuration to fail.
What I want to achieve:
Current configuration:
My question:
I look forward to hearing from you on how to best address this.
]]>Hello everyone, hallo Arno,
I am re-working a website using the Twenty Twenty Four theme and blocks extensively for the first time. On the landing page there is a cover image just below the header. Is there a way to change that picture depending on the time of day using Timed Content?
The website is a about a real life place, the image shows a house or garden and its surroundings. Since there are some quite nice views during the day and especially amazing sunsets and full moons, I would love to show website visitors an image according to the time of day of their visit, let’s say one for the sunrise, one for high noon, one for afternoon, one for the sunset and finally one for night time.
I understand it could be done with Timed Content albeit it was not built for that specifically and could turn out to be a bit of a hassle. Is that right? Should I try and go for some solution using PHP or JS instead?
Thanks for you help,
Max
]]>I have tried with a classic editor and it does work, but when inserting the code into an Elementor html, or text, module, it doesn’t seem to work
]]>Today February 29, I can see the content that has a rule to be displayed on:
Starting date/time: 2021-03-01 – 00:00
Ending date/time: 2021-03-01 – 23:59
Repeat: every 1 year
Keep repeating until a given date: 2121-10-01
If I change Starting and Ending date from 2024-03-01 – 00:00 to 2024-03-01 – 23:59 everything works correctly.
I can’t check until March 1, 2024, but maybe the old rules will be shifted by 1 day because of the leap year.
]]>Hi !
Thanks for the plugin, very useful. I’m looking for automating show/hide each 8 weeks, this would look like with thoses values :
show (date) : where it starts.
duration (int) : where it lasts in days.
repeat (int) : interval with the show date where it repeats again, for the same duration.
Do you think this can be possible ?
]]>Is there a way to set the code to show information on certain dates yearly?
For example, I want my form to only show March 1st through November 30th each year.
Regarding Timed Content
When will this be tested for use with WordPress ver 6.4.2

]]>Hey Timed Content Support Team,
we just noticed a console error showing up in all of our Timed Content installations I checked for that. Since console errors are an ugly thing we guess you will want to fix this. The error is being shown on the page /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=timed_content_rule and says the following:
Uncaught ReferenceError: timed_content_rule_exceptions_dates_picker is not defined
https://www.DOMAIN.TLD/wp-content/plugins/timed-content/js/timed-content-admin.js?ver=2.77:72
jQuery
The error is shown no matter if there are rules set on this page or if it is completely empty. Setup here is PHP 8.1, WordPress 6.4.2 and all other of our plugins are on their current versions.
Please let us know when you need further information because you couldn’t reproduce the problem.
Greetings and thank you a lot for your work,
-doffine
Hi there,
I traced an error on one of my sites back to the use of the dashboard_glance_items filter as an action in your plugin.
Basically, the Dashboard was erroring out trying to generate the At a Glance block because the Timed Content plugin wasn’t modifying or returning the array being passed into it and other functions on that hook were expecting one. (Event Tickets is using strict typing on their hook to ensure an array is rightfully returned, and the null value coming in makes it throw an error.)
Easy fix is to change it from add_action to add_filter, add a parameter to the TimedContentPlugin->add_rules_count method, and return that both in the post type guard clause at the beginning and at the very end of the function.
Thanks!
]]>Until recently, everything was working as intended. However, for some time now, when I set the Start date and End date, the Projected date/time is completely inconsistent with the settings. It looks as if the initial date is set in stone, while the end date is calculated based on the difference in days between the start date and end date, and then this difference is added to the start date which is always the same. Examples are provided in the attached screenshots. The plugin itself works flawlessly once the Projected date/time is properly set.
]]>Hi there,
Is it possible to show/hide the whole post/page, including the form ?
Thanks
]]>
I have had timed content appearing at 5am one day and hiding at 4:55am the next day for weeks now.
I set it to repeat every 1st Saturday and that’s where things get wonky. The block that said it would appear the 1st Saturday did not appear until Sunday.
Right now, both the 1st Sunday and 1st Monday blocks are showing. My timezone is correct in this plugin and the site in general. It says 1st for the Weekday ordinal and Sunday for the Day of the week, yet the Scheduled dates/times has it green for appearing now, 11:05am on Monday.
Also, the Monday timed block has changed in appearance- the one at the top is not the timed content, the two videos below are were created with the same design, I just changed the text from Sunday to Monday and switched videos. Yet, Monday’s video is appearing as landscape initially and then much smaller than the block it is attached to.
I use Beaver Builder so it’s a saved BB row that I insert into the Timed Content code and then add to the page via a BB HTML block.
How can I fix this? Thank you =^.^=
P.S. while I do not have explicit content on the site, I am a Dominatrix so chose the ‘mature content’ tag. Those videos are positive morning affirmations.
]]>Hi,
Thank you very mcuh for the great plugin.
My onl question is, that is it possible to create rules with some batch process?
I need to shows different content every day in one of my widget in sidebar, so it would be great to use some batch process for this, instead to create 365 rules manually.
Thank you very much!
]]>Hi
I would like to display my phone number on the website always from Monday 08 am in the morning until Friday 18 pm in the evening and otherwise a text that we are not available by phone. I have tried all possible combinations with shortcodes but somehow it does not work. Is it possible at all?
]]>For some reason the shortcode [hide] stopped working on our website.

[timed-content-client hide=”0:04:500″]

[timed-content-client show=”0:04:600″]

Can you see what’s wrong?
Hi, we have a problem with the plug in. We have been using it for over a year and until the first week of January everything worked without any problems. Then the weekly timers ( the ones that are supposed to show parts of the article by day) stopped working. Always showing everything.
We use it to show the day’s submissions which change precisely according to the day of the week.
I am attaching Monday and Tuesday to see what it may be depending on
01-Monday
Hide the content on 2023-02-01 @ 9:30am until 2023-12-31 @ 11:30pm.
This rule will be active until 2023-12-31.
All times are in the Europe/Rome timezone. [timed-content-rule id=”8550″]…[/timed-content-rule].
02-Closed on Tuesdays
Show the content on 2023-02-01 @ 12:00am until 2023-12-31 @ 11:30pm.
This rule will be active until 2023-12-31.
This rule will be inactive on the following dates: 2023-12-31.
All times are in the Europe/Rome timezone. [timed-content-rule id=”6675″]…[/timed-content-rule].
Hourly timers like this one
lunch only
Show the content on 2023-02-01 @ 10:30am until 2023-01-31 @ 2:00pm.
This rule will be active for 54 recurrences.
All times are in the Europe/Rome timezone. [timed-content-rule id=”6176″]…[/timed-content-rule].
are working perfectly
]]>Currently on our woocommerce site we have used the “woocommerce_proceed_to_checkout” hook to display message to customers using the action..
add_action( 'woocommerce_proceed_to_checkout', 'order_notice_for_shipping' );
function order_notice_for_shipping() {
echo '<p class="shipping-info-text">Orders placed at this time will be shipped Monday.</p>';
}
Now obviously this is static, and basically what the goal would be is to swap out two different messages (hide one, show the other) based on the Timed Content Settings.
I’m not sure how to convert these using the Timed Content shortcodes like the above using the woocommerce hooks and get them to work together.
Could you provide an example using the above existing hook function?
Thanks!

]]>Hi,
Thank you for the great plugin!
I have the problem that only client-side rules work for me. Therefore, I can’t use the rules I created.
If I create a rule and insert the shortcode – then it already hides the button, but on Sunday where it should be displayed, it is unfortunately still hidden.
What is the client-side rule to hide the button weekly from Monday to Saturday and then show it on Sunday?
Many thanks in advance!
