Hi, I was notified of a vulnerability in Wordfence in version 1.1.1. Has it been resolved yet?

Thanks for the plugin. Updating from 1.0.7 to 1.1.2 has caused several issues.

• In the editor, trying to use HTML in the Timeline Description text area causes a fatal error
  hook.js:608 InvalidCharacterError: Failed to execute ‘createElement’ on ‘Document’: The tag name provided (‘p<ul’) is not a valid name.
• The front-end output has changed unexpectedly. The Timeline Description had output an empty <p> tag before the <ul> but this is now stripped. The default styling for the <ul> with top margin: -10px makes the <ul> visually overlap the label above.
• The front-end CSS has changed unexpectedly. We had implemented a horizontal timeline and the timeline items below the line had been visually close to the line due to table-cell styles. The new version the timeline items are flex items and visually close to the bottom of the container rather than the line.
• There are some visual issues with block at the left and right edges which I also suspect are CSS regressions.

Since the breaks in the titles and the vertical alignment of the blocks with greatly varying lengths is somewhat impractical, we use <br/> elements in the titles. These have not been supported and visibly displayed since the update of 4 days ago. Can you please fix that and publish updates as updates and not only but changing files?

When a horizontal timeline has descriptions that are different lengths, the shorter story is placed away from the timeline. This looks as though the story is no longer connected to the timeline.

I am trying to use Timeline Block in Gutenberg. However, whenever I add it to a page, I get the following error message:

“This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.”

Is this an error on my end, or is there maybe a compatibility issue with the latest version of WordPress/Gutenberg?

I’m getting an error above my timeline with the latest update:

I downgraded back to version 1.0.4 and the error went away.

Hi,
thank you for your nice plugin.
I would like to forceVerticalMode earlier – now its by 580px and i need it by 768px.
I found this in your code: forceVerticalMode:{type:”integer”,defaultValue:600} but changing value here seems not to have an impact.
Your advices is greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

I have a fresh install with a default theme (TwentyTwenty), but the (horizontal) timeline only ever shows three items (on the frontend) – the setting for “VigibleItems:” (?) only works in the backend.

Also, once I changed the “Start Index:” I cannot set it back to start with the first item, because it obviously counts from 0 (zero) which is not an option.
Basically, as soon as I change “Start Index:” the count is off by one.

And a question: if I’d want to show 10 items at once (on desktops), how, if at all, is this handled on narrower viewports (before it switches to vertical)?

First of all: Thank you for this nice and easy to use timeline plugin! I’m using it within the Neve framework.

Is it possible to change the output or set a filter to functions.php so that the ‘timeline points / labels’ will not be <h2>-headlines?

I fear, the additional h2-headlines will have unwanted effects to our SEO, so I’d like to change the <h2>-tags into e.g. <div- oder <span-containers…
