I want to resize logo to 600px x 300px but it always resizes it to a small scale. how can i do it?
]]>morning I installed your plugin to the specks and all I am getting is one huge white box no feeds
]]>Hi staff of Tint plugin ??
The plugin is really great, and the services you offer is fantastic, but in a responsive theme the number of columns don’t decrease like happens in your official website, so if i set 4 columns and then navigate my website with a smartphone i see 4 tiny little columns. How can i solve this problem?
How do I get this to display only on this page?
]]>Hi Tim
I’ve had an idea – such a rare thing, that I thought I’d share with you !
How about adding the ability for us to PIN one or more items to the top of our feed ? Is this something you’ve thought of implementing ?
I’ve had an idea of creating a full page ‘news wall’ on the home page of a site, populated almost entirely by social media updates displayed via Tint. In this instance, it would be very useful to be able to PIN current hot items to the top of the page.
That’s it. Keep up the good work !
]]>Hi Tint Team
Yesterday I saw that some of the posts in my feed that I had previously moderated (deleted) had come back – no big problem – I just re-deleted them from the Tint feed.
But then I realised that many posts seem to be completely missing – I used to have a full page before reaching Xmas-related tweets/posts, but now these are appearing half-way down the page. So it’s not just that old history has been auto-deleted/archived from the feed – many specific posts seem to have disappeared. I’m not sure if this is a Tint issue, or a way that the social media networks (FB/twitter) are limiting the posts.
Hope that makes sense.
]]>Hi Tint team
I’m very disappointed to discover today that the ‘Moderation’ option now seems to be a paid-for premium-only feature. And at a minimum price of $19/month, I hardly need to state that this is prohibitive.
I’ve enjoyed using your plugin, but am now be forced to look elsewhere. For anyone that doesn’t need this feature (the ability to delete posts from the stream) then the Tint plugin is still to be recommended.
Best of luck with future developments.
]]>Hi Tint team
Hopefully someone is reading these messages ! ??
I have noticed that any updates to my FB page take some considerable time to appear in my Tint feed.
For example, on FB I can see a post from 15 mins ago, yet it does not appear yet on my Tint feed on my site. Going to Tint Admin page, the new post does not appear here either, and pressing the REFRESH POSTS does not help. Also, changing the theme to a different one does not pull in the new post either.
It would be very useful for all new social media posts to be reflected as soon as possible after they are made. On one of my sites in particular, I am using the Tint feed almost like a ‘Breaking News’ feature on my home page, so it important to see the news posts ASAP.
Is there a polling interval or something, that we can set ?
Thanks, and keep up the good work.
]]>Hi Tint Team
I’m enjoying using your plugin, and if I may, here are a few suggestions for improvement.
* I see that you regularly update & tweak the features & settings on your site ( tintup.com/admin ) which has a knock-on effect with the plugin. Whilst these are generally minor cosmetic improvements, it would be good if you can notify us, so we can check our live sites to ensure the displays are still showing OK. (A bonus would be a notification of a new theme, like the recent PIN !)
* Further to the above, a recent update has changed the way the Classic theme displays – the first line of text now appears as a much larger font – I guess that is deliberate ? Now it may have sounded a good idea on paper, but it reality it looks rather ugly ! So can you turn it back the way it was, or give us an option to customise this ? The main problems are that it now takes up too much space, and the large words are just the first to appear, so it makes little sense as a heading.
* The NEWS theme would be my preferred choice on one of my sites, but there is a display problem with it, at least for my feeds. On the ADMIN screen, the text becomes misplaced and seems to overlay the image by mistake. On my live site, sometimes it seemed to display OK, other times I would see this overlapping bug.
Thanks for listening, and keep up the great work. ??
