Hello, is it safe to use such a plugin? Doesn’t someone have greater rights in writing to the database than without it?
And whether it will be updated, because it has been so long that it does not guarantee that it is still working properly. I don’t use gutebnerg myself, only classic editors. She WOULD be great.

Input in a comment box looks OK with correct RTL direction, but when sending it the result flips and changes to LTR direction.
Can you please fix this so RTL comments will stay RTL on EN version of WP ?
Thanks
I really like your plugin and use it often. Because of the current design I’m working on, I want to change the background color of the textarea input. It appears the place to change this is inside the iframe which I can’t change from the website CSS.
Do you have any idea how I can tweak the background color?

We really like your plugin and it works well for us, but recently this error message began appearing in the browser console and it disappears when your plugin is deactivated.
Is this related to your plugin or something else.

]]>Hello,
This looks like a GREAT plugin!
The plugin activates properly on several different sites on a multisite network and various setting configurations save properly.
However, after typing a comment and clicking the POST button, a message displays indicating
ERROR: please type a comment.
? Back
For some reason it does not appear to be recognizing that we have typed a message in the comment editor area.
Normal commenting works fine when we deactivate this plugin.
The plugin TinyMCE Comment Field – WYSIWYG also exhibits the exact behavior.
Can you provide any assistance?
Thanks!

Unfortunately, after installing none of my pages (incl. Admin pages) were loading.

Removing the plugin manually made my website load again.
Not sure if this plugin would even do what I want, but thought it might be useful to notify te developer about this issue.

Would it be possible to make this a sub-level menu item under “Settings” seeing as it’s not something that is accessed frequently.

]]>For a while, I had noticed unexpected and undesired functioning in nested or “threaded” comment threads at my site, probably indicating a conflict with WP’s core Reply-Link JS, which places the comment reply box underneath the particularly relevant comment rather than at the bottom of the given thread (normal for non-nested threads). It appears that TinyMCE Visual Comment Editor was the problem. The problems had gotten especially bad after some further customizations of comment thread display and functions.
I suspect there will be a workaround, and, while I’m working on it, I might look into other conflicts affecting the utility of this plug-in whose features I would like to make available to my users, and that I have enjoyed being able to use. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to look at it right now, so am retiring the plug-in, with regret, and will see if some simpler comment-editing tool will work in the meantime.

]]>Hi,
Everything works great with this plugin, however now (I thought this worked before, but maybe not):
The user clicks the “Add Media” button
They upload or select their media and add it to the comment
It displays the image in the comment box
They click Post Comment to submit their comment
The image is not saved in the comment; there should be an img tag surrounded by a href tags. However only the a href tags are there, the img tag is missing.
I’ve tried whatever I can think of to prevent this from happening (ex, using “extended_valid_elements” and “verify_html”=false for TinyMCE) but nothing seems to make any difference. Please help … thank you.
