I registered via the plugin in wp admin and everything looked good until I refreshed the page and then it said the key was invalid. I clicked the developer link and provided the same name and email address but it states the email address is already in use. Bad catch22 going on here. How do I use this plugin?
]]>I’ve had to turn tiny png off because it causes http errors when I upload images. Is this a recognised problem and does anyone know of a fix for this?
]]>My website is a directory so my members have their own admin panels, where they can upload images. I have been finding that tinypng auto-compression really makes it so difficult for my clients to upload images they give up. I also get http errors; I would still like to use it but I think I would have to use it manually and I can’t see a way to deactivate autocompression. Is there a way to set it to manual compression? alternatively if I deactivate the plugin will the compressed images stay compressed and then I can reactivate the plugin periodically and do a bulk compression. Any advice appreciated ? Thanks
]]>Hi,
It seems not all images are getting compressed.
Here is an example:-

Do the people that upload the images, have to be admins for it to work?
We are using the API.
Thanks

]]>Hi,
I enabled this plugin for my site however, I would now like to upload a few images manually and do not want the plugin to compress them (the compression distorts the images).
Is there a way to disable the automatic compression for select images?
Thanks!
]]>There is the “Compress All Images” function. Using it the same images get compressed over and over again. The counter goes up for images already being compressed. This doesn’t make much sense to me. Does the image quality degrade when using compression again on an already compressed image? I have 9 images on a new website. Count of compressions is 78 by now.
Looking at the media library for some of them only 4 of 5 sizes get compressed. The “Compress” button remains. Clicking it doesn’t have any effect.
Clicking on “Compress All Images” counts up and up on the same 9 images. Am I missing something?
Thanks for any hint!
]]>Hi There,
thanks so much for porting the API to WordPress. Love it!
I just gave it a test run and wondered what you’re plans are for the future. There’s a lot more possible. You’ve already got the integration working; how about bulk handle alle previous uploaded files, for instance?
What plugin should I use for JPG files?
