an iTunes icon would be nice for sites who host podcasts

]]>i am using the tipsy social icons (disable at the moment) because every time it enable it
i get this box with a blue question mark that says full-width when you hover over it and when clicked goes to a 404 page
even when i go to the actual widget it says it at the bottom “full-width” and “full_icon” at the bottom once i add all my social media links and click save.
i really like this plugin its the only one i have liked so far.
]]>Hey all,
First off, thanks so much for your interest in the plugin!
Secondly, for free plugins, I only offer a minimal version of support, but I no longer offer it on this forum. Instead, I’d appreciate it if you’d direct all questions to the contact form on my website.
I do this so that I can make sure that all questions for plugins come into my inbox and aren’t missed here on the forums.
Finally, note that if you post a question here on the forum, I cannot promise that I’ll see to it as my inbox is my primary way of managing support for now. I do not regularly check these forums.
Thanks!
Tom

]]>Hi Tom:
I like your widget. Nice work!!
One question:
I would like to use your widget in my header which my theme supports. The issue I am running into is that the icons align to the left which places them just to the right side of my logo. I would like the icons to align on the right side of my header and then populate out to the left. My website is in development so I can’t give a link to the site.
Would you be able to help provide the CSS I would need to use to make ths happen?
Thanks for your time.

]]>Just updated while working on a site, now the social images are broken. The paths of the folders to the images are not correct, nor are the image names themselves correct.
On the widgets screen I notice that the option to select the icon size is gone… perhaps this ties in.

]]>Took a while to realize the widget itself needed to be updated, there’s no Settings page – anyway, I added the widget to the sidebar but I can’t change anything, it won’t allow me to remove the default text for each icon.

]]>Hey,
first of all: Great plugin! That is the one I was lokking for – almost…
Problem is that plugin crashes with my design (see the link for a picture). Don’t know why, but it’s the first widget that causes this problem.
Another thing: It would be great to have the option to sort the icos cause I’d like to have this order: Facebook, Twitter, mail and rss feed. Could you implement this within your next update, please?

]]>Is there a way to override the plugin’s display of default icons? I would like to use my own custom icons. I can replace the default icons in the plugin folder on the server with my own icons, but then I’ll have to remember to re-upload my custom icons at each plugin upgrade. I’d prefer not to do it. Is there some filter hook I can use in my functions.php? Any help would be appreciated.

]]>I was having problems getting the social icons to float right. The floated element was dropping low. I noticed this line:
.tipsy-social-icons { display: inline; }
That is good, but I also noticed something bad on line 8 of tipsy-social-icons-content.php:
<img src="<?php echo WP_PLUGIN_URL . '/tipsy-social-icons/images/' . $icon_size . '/' . $key . '_' . $icon_size . '.png'; ?>" alt="<?php echo ucfirst($key); ?>" class="tipsy-social-icon" />
Do you see it, too? The class name is mismatched. I added the “s” to the end of the class name and my problem was resolved.
It’s took me about 5 hours to figure this out. <acK!> ??

]]>How do you make the icons horizontal – not vertical – one right next to each other. And, how do you remove the name of the icon when you hoover over it (e.g. Facebook icon – hoover your mouse over it and it says Facebook).

]]>tipsy homepage notes that tipsy works in WordPress 3.0.1
I installed tipsy 2.0 using WP 3.0.1 but tipsy doesn’t appear to work correctly with this version of WordPress.
–> Only one single line text field appears next to each social networking icon.
–> The text field isn’t labeled “Icon URL” or “Tool Tip Text”
–> The only display options are: “Display large icons?” and “Apply hover fade effect?” (Are other options only included in the premium version?)
–> There isn’t any “Upload Icon” option.
I could upgrade to version 3.2.1 – but it seems like a lot of work: backing up my database, restoring it, WP site-backup documentation is a little vague regarding saving files also

]]>This plug in once worked fine but its functionality went away a few weeks ago. There is no install link in the plug in directory and the download from the plug in’s site is useless. Please remove this from the WP directory until you work out the kinks.
]]>I’ve just installed this plugin, went to update the caching and then it states that there’s an error on line 2. Went to resolve it, my entire site has disappeared right before my out-of-date cron job to back everything up.
I’ve lost everything.
I don’t wish to blame this plugin but it is circumstantial that I lose everything when I’ve just got this activated.
CAUTION!
