]]>I noticed that not all headline outputs are adjusted:
I have widgets with resent posts (standard WordPress plugin) and popular posts (WP Popular Posts plugin) andthey show the “real” title instead of the splittested one that I see on the homepage and categories. Also in my archive page (which is powered by Smart Archives plugin) there is the “real” title.
Can you (author) do anything about that?

]]>Google only sees the first title and not the alternative titles.
This means that you show a different title for the user than for the Google crawler.
That is cloaking right? Cloaking normally leads to a penalty.
Or is this not cloaking?

]]>It seems as though this plugin outputs titles incorrectly. If my post title includes quotes (double quotes were what I used) the post title output on my site isn’t correct. I took a couple of screenshots.
With the plugin enabled (and the post title The Weekly Theme Show #10 “BizWay and Launchpad”) the output on my site was: https://cl.ly/3u3N2r2E1k3G033E0X3m
(Notice the tick marks where the double quotes should be.)
I disabled the plugin, seeing as how it was the most likely culprit because I just started playing with it yesterday and it has to do with post titles. When disabled, my post title output went back to what it should have been: https://cl.ly/2Z0d3Y1a1M2w1X1j1A1L
I haven’t dug around in the plugin to see what the issue is exactly, but I thought I’d point out the issue.

]]>How does it affect the way the menus display? is it going to display the page menu entries based upon the split testing “decision” also, if google shows title 1 all the time, and a user clicks on it.. and they come to the site, and all of a sudden see title 2 because that’s the decision that the plugin has made, wouldn’t that confuse users?
