Hi Trent,
Great plugin, I like the way you have used (I think) a custom post type to implement the list items. However, as others have pointed out (and I am sure you are aware) there are issues now because the plugin has not be updated.
I can get most things to work except the ordering. It works on one my test WP (minimal) site but not on my main site that has lots of plugins. I guess there may be a JQuery conflict with one of my WordPress plugins
I am a developer who has done a little with PHP but not with WordPress or plugins. I can probably upgrade the version of JQuery in your plugin but I am not good enough with CSS to fix the visual issue with the progress bar.
Is it possible for you to get it working again? Or put the source code on GitHub? I know I have the source code and can do that but I thought you may wish to “own” the project. It’s a great plugin and would be a shame to lose it.
Please advise and thanks again for sharing this great plugin.
Cheers,
Ashley.
Dear @trenton,
Greetings! I hope you are doing great!
I just wanted to ask. Can you please give this plugin an update? it is required now. If we run on the new WP progress bar don’t work properly. I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
Deepak
Hi Trenton,
Just would like to quickly inquire if there is a way to track the progresses with all the posts that user has checked. There seems to be a mail function though, can I check if getting a dashboard to track task list to percentage complete and see which user hasnt check it be possible?
Thanks!

]]>OK, so here’s the rub. Say, I have two categories Cat 1 (with ID=1) and 2 sub-categories (ID=2 & 3) and Cat 2 (ID=4) with 2 sub-categories (IDs 5 & 6) with the same 6 tasks allocated to each. Then if I call this into a post as follows:
[todolists_tasklist ID=2] and [todolists_tasklist ID=5] for example, then it will only show the tasks for ID=2 but because the tasks allocated to ID=5 are the same then it won’t show them. If I add a task unique to ID=5 then it will show this one in the second list and only this one.
This means that this plugin won’t work to process repetitive tasks associated with different projects eg shopping lists, where the tasks are not unique. So it is useless….
Will you be able to change this in the near future?

]]>still some CSS issues.
How can one tell what ID the relevant tasks belong to – only from the Order Tasks menu and the relevant ID in the url (and the insert menu in the post)? I have installed Catch IDs which works well.
Anyway, potentially great plugin so please keep up the development.

]]>Hello,
Is this plugin is under active development ?
If no, I will be happy to re-develop it. I have seen the plugin code and I found that if anybody use this plugin in his live site then people can easy hack into their site. I wish to improve this plugin, please let me know.

So… how are the check-offs saved by my member-users? Is it just a cookie on their device or is it somewhere stored in the database?

When I uncheck the boxes in one account, they uncheck in all user accounts also. I seem to remember checking this before and I thought it worked. Please tell me what to do, I am about finished with a new site and if it doesn’t work, then the months of work I put into it will be worthless.

Please please please make any CSS styles specific to your plugin and your code. Do not use generic style names or style tags. This conflicts with everything.

]]>Hallo,
When I share my tasks on facebook I get this:
jQuery(“.todolists_task_sdc261”).change(function() { var _taskid = jQuery(this).attr(“id”).replace(“todolists_task_id[“,””).replace(“]”,””); var _status = jQuery(this).is(“:checked”);
This is the link to my site. Try sharing then you will see.
How to solve this?
Thank you

Looks like this plugin is broken in the latest WP version – shame

]]>Hi there,
I’m looking desperately for a plugin that enables my customers – from the dashboard – to track progress in regards to completing different tasks (selected by me) e.g. ‘add some pages’ would give 10% on the progress bar, ‘connect to Facebook’ 5% etc.
I’m looking for something like this: https://oneclevercode.com/accordion/ ?
Is this plugin something that would work?
I’ve tried to install it in order to test, however when adding the task and clicing on To Do Lists Tasks and To Do Lists Progress Bar it opens an overlay however with no content at all? Onl a blank black overlay?
Cheers,
M

]]>Just been surfing for something like your plugin I like the simplicity however in trying a few plugins on a test site I’ve found one clash with the ‘WP Project Manager’ plugin which is also registering the custom_post type “Task”.
Might be worth putting this in your pre-amble that it won’t live together.
