The plugin throws fatal errors due to syntax errors in includes/admin/tbex-addons.php

Swapping the two lines to

$array_name = "addons_" . $type;

				$array_name[ $addon ] = $addon_data;
				if($type=="official"){
					$addons_by_type = $addons_official;
				}else if($type=="supported"){
					$addons_by_type = $addons_supported;
				}else{
					$addons_by_type = $addons_recommended;
				}

Fixed it for me

It repeats over and over again. When the plugin is removed, the error goes away. The latest version of the plugin is installed.

After changing from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.0, my page didn’t load any more.
I turned on debugging and found out that this plugin caused the error, so I deactivated it. Now my page loads fine again. Hope the dev will fix the problem, I sent him the logs.

I watched a video on youtube about creating a custom checkout page with Gutenberg and the person used your plugin as a help to get some specific blocks. I downloaded the plugin but i can’t see those fields after the installation.

So my question is how to enable them?
Is there anything else i need to install in order to work?

Dev does seem to work on other stuff on his github, does not answer on FB which is dormant as well. Too bad. Guess priorities have shifted to other things. I’ll work without this plugin which was very practical, since I want to sue php 8. Oh well.

Before I install, can you confirm that this plugin is still being supported and maintained, please? Been a year since the last update.

I would love it if you updated the MainWP add-on.

Getting compile error causing WordPress Error

An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 164 of the file /home/USER/DOMAIN/wp-content/plugins/toolbar-extras/includes/items-plugins-sitegroup-tools.php. Error message: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/USER/DOMAIN/wp-content/plugins/toolbar-extras/includes/plugins/items-rankmath.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php74/usr/share/pear’)

The 2 Files exist and permissions are usual (755 dir, 644 file)

Please don’t let this become “abandonware”, so very useful.. hope it’ll soon be compatible with php 8.0.

Hi – when the admin uses the front end on a tablet or mobile the “Build” menu dissapears.

Is this because it shouldn’t be used in this mode?

The normal WP menu items change to an icon.

Any help or advice?

Is the Toolbar for MainWP abandoned? We have been trying to get hold of the developer on the support for that plugin for weeks now. Perhaps he responds here?

I get this in Debug mode when toobar extras plugin is activated. Does not occur when not deactivated.

Deprecated: can_display_jetpack_manage_notice is deprecated since version jetpack-7.3.0 with no alternative available.

I have deactivated all plugins one-by-one and when i turn this one on, the error appears. Please advise.

I like your plugin very much.
But I miss 2 options

1) add option to open/view frontend of website in NEW tab (instead like now in current tab).

2) Add a button to the toolbar to save/publish the current wp admin page, so we do not have to search and scroll for save button.

3) add a search to quickly find any menu-item from the admin menu:

It should be nice to install just 1 plugin, and have all this functionality at hand.

I have two sites for which I have installed the plugin. On one of the sites for some reason the list of pages of my site is across the top of the toolbar but on another it is not – where is this set ?

I recently wasn’t able to fully access my WP dashboard after trying to go into the settings for the MailPoet plugin. The only way to get back to my dashboard was to use a file manager to rename the two MailPoet plugins (MailPoet + MailPoet Premium).

Assuming the problem was with MailPoet, I accessed their tech support people who responded with “The error comes from this plugin: toolbar-extras. It looks like this plugin has some sort of MailPoet integration, so when MailPoet is active the error happens. Please contact the support staff of that plugin for further assistance.”

Knowing that, MailPoet works fine when I’ve disabled Toolbar Extras.

FYI, I’m using v3.46.11 of MailPoet and v3.0.83 of MailPoet Pro.

I hope you can fix this, David, because I love your plugin! (It must be like being in hell sometimes trying to fix issues like this, with conflicts with other plugins being a moving target.)

Love your plugin, it’s part of my software stack for all Elementor installs.

Somehow I disabled the Toolbar from WPAdmin (at stepheneadams.com) and need to add it back. The Toolbar remains for my subset (consult.stepheneadams.com). How can I re-enable the Toolbar?

Hi, with the current version I get this warning on all backend pages printed out at the top: Deprecated: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is deprecated in /home/portalleviarto/public_html/wp-content/plugins/toolbar-extras/includes/admin/tbex-addons.php on line 96

And some other plugins stop working, like the SG Optimizer which does not load the settings anymore if I enter the admin settings screen.
I get a SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0 SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0 in JS console after the plugins tries it’s ajax request to get the settings. This only happens if your plugin is active.

Could be important: I use PHP 7.4

For your information:
After update to 3.46.0 of Mailpoet the plugin ‘Toolbar Extras’ caused a critical error.
After disabling toolbar extras the admin returns to normal..

An option to add “Edit Content” would be awesome. For pages, flyout menu with page list that would jump right into the elementor editor. The ability to add CPT’s would be cool too.

I’m using Toolbar Extras with Elementor (with Astra Pro) and Fusion Builder (with Avada Theme) on a Multisite. I know it is not ideal to be using two builders on one multisite. However, I’m rebuilding my site to remove Fusion and I don’t have a choice at the moment.

I try to edit a page by pressing Edit Page in the toolbar with Toolbar Extras installed on the multisite BUT on a sub-site that doesn’t have Elementor enabled, the page won’t load and says that the site is experiencing difficulties.

I’m making an assumption that Toolbar Extras is looking for Elementor but it isn’t active on the sub-site.

I have overcome this temporarily by disabling Toolbar extras and re-enabling it when I want to work on the sub-sites that use Elemntor. I can live with that, I’m just letting you know because the situation is not ideal on a multi-site, and I realise that my use-case is fairly unusual.

Hey, great plugin but unfortunately I only need the function to hide wp widgets. I was wondering, how did your plugin achieve this? Can you maybe share a snippet to add to functions.php?

your plugin is a great idea for sure. I intended to use it while developing (and color top toolbar is one of my favorite) and will I desactivate it when delivering the site to my clients.
But I faced some issues with it. It freezed some of my elementor pages (not all of them).

I always try to use a minimalist configuration(elementor pro and hello theme and some other stuff stable with elementor)

I discovered and installed the plugin a while after I designed the site. Everything worked fine before. And everything returns to normal after the plugin has been desactivated. I’m sorry cause I know it’s really tricky to find what cause this kind of issue. So I say it for the record and may be some users have experimented the same issue and give you more clues to fix it.

Hi,
for some reason the unload translations seems not to work for the free part of the Premium Addons for Elementor extension. The Premium Addons Pro widgets are in English but not the free ones. All other widgets (Elementor (Pro) and Ultimate Addons) are in English.
Can you look into this?

Hi,
just let you know, that the option “Remove WordPress Widgets from Elementor Live Editor” does not work with Elementor 2.5 anymore, as they optimized the editor starting performance by asynchronously loading the widgets menu items.

It’s just a guess, but it might be:
In this process they check for the default widgets got loaded and this results in endlessly loading the panel.

I’ve installed kinds of plugins to control what the toolbar shows, if you could add just a few more options to hide everything that’s also shown by default in WordPress, I would love this even more!

I just realized that the unload language is reflected to the front-end even if I’m not logged in or test in another browser.

In my case I have testet the default Archive template page with the archive title element which renders as prefix the context. I have my site language on German and as long the unload language is active, no matter what, the prefix stays in English.

As soon I deactivate it, it correctly displays in German, for search: “Suchergebnisse für:”…

Would be nice if you can look into it and fix it.
