Hi,
Is it possible that you create a update where the CSS and JS assets are minified?
Thanks
Hi there,
I noticed that this plugin is quite hard to use on mobile touchscreens. I have to tap and hold on the “?” icon to get the tooltip to show up, and I have to do it with such precision that I usually can’t even get it to open anyways. As soon as I stop holding my finger on the screen, the tooltip disappears. Is there anything you can do (maybe make it easier to tap on mobile viewports, and leave the tooltip open once tapped/only close it if the user taps outside of the element)?
I don’t think you should “force” this plugin to be auto-updated! That should completely up to the site admin/owner.
You should just let site admin/owners use the Auto-Update UI introduced in WP 5.5 control whether this plugin is auto-updated or not.
Hello!
It seems that this plugin can works next to the radio buttons or checkboxes choises but I tried to do that and I never finded the way to make it works.
How can we do that ?
Thanks!
Hi,
I was so happy to find and use this wonderfull plugin.
We have forms in 3 languages, and more are coming.
Then I was shocked I could not find any way to translate the tooltips?? That is strange, in 2022.
Could you please add support to WPML. The people at WPML are happy to help, see this:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translate-text-of-a-plugin-2/
Hope to be able to use this plugin, if you make it compatible with WPML.
Hi,
you made wonderful progress with the plugin – i remember the days when we had to use entities…that was stressful.;)
Now normal hmtl is working and this is great. But…
I can’t get the tooltip to show in the section title. Is that not supported or am i doing something wrong?
Hi
Positioning on the right, on the left does not work. The icon is always on top.
I have a form that has checkbox section for selection.
I am wondering if I can create tool-tip popup every time item of check box is selected, For now I create HTML field and pops at the top of the section but if several check boxes are selected there several tool-tips are on the screen and it is not very grate for user.
Any solution with using this add-on?
Any assistance appreciated.
In the link section I am need help is Web Design .
Thanx
numbers with dollar sign inside the tool tip disappear.
for example if i added a number like $50,000 on the front end it will show as ,000
Is it possible to translate tooltip texts entered in the form? I’m using WPML but I’m not seeing the tooltip strings to translate them.
How can we change the font size of the content within the tooltip?
How to add line break in the content within the tool tip?
Hoping to be able to make a short list. Tried simple html with
, but it did not recognize. Any other way?
Hi again.
I was wondering why I see in head a script being called I have never seen before by Elementor or typical plugins I use.
And a prefetch for it by my caching plugin.
Just an extra call to add more to page load – this should be an option for us, IMHO.
Polyfill for ie11 – for the handful of old folks who never update PC and may still use ie11 ?!
I assume as I see it is your WP username divdojo you use [email protected] email?
After adding your plugin I got an email with subject line: ‘Subject: I want to get notified via email’ …
It’s basically saying I’m on a mystery list I never joined… Nor wanted to join.
Before realizing it was sent ‘thanks’ to your plugin this email made me concerned my site was hacked or was vulnerable to spammers from a form or whatever, in spite of a lot of security measures I use.
After much searching and time waste, I then found a new tab in settings > Tooltips – where I saw ‘subscription enabled’.
To WHAT exactly? Why was I forced-subscribed and with no idea to what and how it will be used, if you will sell my email [the ADMIN email you snatched without my permission] or take me OFF your list when I deselect ‘subscription enabled’?
Obviously, this was not performed as no email arrived to tell me I am no longer ‘subscribed’ to whatever.
I suggest you make it clear to plugin users you WISH to collect their emails by first asking us. Common courtesy and also SPAM laws compliance.
Even if you live in India where it’s harder to go after SPAMMERS, as a WP developer you should respect people’s right to not get on a list without consenting to that.
Your email should have at the very least had some clear explanation from where we got on to your list and supposedly ‘subscribed’, how to get OFF such a list, what it will be used for and why we were put on it in the first place.
I can maybe understand a plugin may get amazing new features added one day, which one doesn’t know about from an auto-update. SO maybe you mean well by informing us by email. Who knows.
But still, no excuse to do this forced subscription. Not decent behavior and makes one suspicious reg future vulnerabilities.
Then there’s the banner spamming nuisance. Luckily I use a plugin to hide admin notices. Even so, you managed to overcome that in the GF plugin tabs.
Not nice. Promotions should be kept to your plugin settings tab, where you can present your other stuff, services, link to support, and subscribe option.
Under general (for a checkox), I input text in the input field and I input text in the checkbox label field. Under appearance, I set the Field label visibility to hidden, yet when I run the form, the Field label is still visible.
Please help
Thanks
Hi and many thanks for this plugin.
Works well for me, just a request:
When using the Elementor builder I cannot see the tooltip – only in preview mode. Not a major thing really, maybe worth mentioning in plugin FAQ section as it can get confusing to not see it when I embed the GF on a page and tool tip isn’t showing up in the edit with elementor view.
thx!
Hi – no tooltips are displayed for radio buttons nor checkboxes of a gravity form. Is that intended or a bug? I changed the theme to a standard wordpress theme – but same issue.
Thanks
Dear support,
The tooltip stopped working on our site.
When troubleshooting the problem on a staging site, I found that the tooltip doesn’t appear when WooCommerce 5.3.0 is active.
I temporarily solved rolling back to Tooltip for Gravity Forms version 1.9, but I think this is a bug.
Thanks
Daniele
Hi,
How can i translate the tooltip text to another language? I am using WPML.
Thanks
Hi there,
Thanks for your plugin, very useful! One issue though: tooltips show just fine on all fields except for 2 types:
– html field
– section field.
They show up on the backend, but nothing is generated on the frontend.
This is a very helpful plugin. Only one small issue. For some reason, the tooltip icon is showing on line BELOW the field label. Any way to fix?
Hello,
I noticed a possible bug when using the List field. I’m using the latest Gravity Forms version.
For me at least, the first occurrence of a List field does not have a tooltip. Unlike the other fields, the first List field outputs a tag with CSS for all Lists. This seems to go unnoticed by the plugin.
It’s easy to fix by placing a hidden List field before the other important fields, but it would be nice to not have to do that.
Would it be possible to fix this?
Hi guys,
This is a very useful plugin, but HTML is not working as advertised.
I tried with a list <ul<

Any chance there’s a way to put line break within this tool tip?
Hoping to be able to make a short list. Tried simple html with
, but it did not recognize. Any other way to force it?
