I am using the paid version of the TotalContest plugin, and I would like to display submissions in a random order each time the page reloads. Is it possible to achieve this, perhaps by modifying some PHP files?

I’d like to purchase the pro version, but get an error: the page automatically created by PhotoContest has x3 the full contest table inserted: once in the menu, once on the main part of the page (that’s the normal one), once on the footer ??

Any help for that ?

When I use the shortcode to insert the contest in any page –> no problem, plugin works well … which lead to a related question that could also solve the one above: can we avoid to generate that additional page ? … which is just redondancy + complexity with other plugins like SEO and sitemap

I thought of using this in a slightly different way and wonder if it does that out of the box?

• Entries – Can TC integrate to Google Drive / Dropbox folder and map (not import) entries from there. All jpg or webp get’s entered into a “competition”. Alternatively import images from dropbox on a per week basis. And maybe after some time delete this weeks entries again.
• Integration – Can you time the Dropbox-go-get-images to fx tuesday at 24:00 (GMT -7 for instance) and then categorise this batch as 2024 > Week 1?
• Taxonomy – Can it grab IPTC and Exif stuff imported with MLA Media Library Assistant, so that we get Title, Caption, Shoot date, GPS location, ISO, Shutter, Aperture etc as we want it to display on the frontend?
• Geolocation – If we grab the GPS info. Does that integrate to Geo My WordPress, so that we can display all or filtered images as shoot locations on a Google Map. Optionally even shoot orientation/direction if available?
• Frontend – Can you remove the frontend entry form entirely, so that you land on the grid view only With no entry form.
• Frontend – Can you restrict access on a user basis. Fx on a user basis as Jury…
  Frontend – Can you timer release the results. Fx 12:00 (GMT +3)
• Release – Can you publicise a count down for the release and use time as per user setting time zone?
• Can you somehow push fx 1, 2, 3 (setting backend could be 10) to a new folder in dropbox / G Drive on a given time fx friday (GMT -2)
• Can you somehow push best in show? best 50 frames on a setting basis fx from one or more categories back to Google Drive / Dropbox. So both Winners 123 and also a pool of best in show in it’s new folder on a given time?

There’s probably more tweeking, but just wondering if you see these ideas ready to go, or could see them implemented some time near future?

I tried the demo, but I will need to demo on our install and have a good idea of roadmap, in order to consider this at all.

Finally, what are restrictions for free version first hand. Number of entries, Number of competitions etc.

Hi! We have been testing out the free version on our startup business. We run an Instagram tagged photo contest, manually select the best three and then manually create entries for a contest. We only want public voting.

Last month the voting ran fine, but this month we received tons of duplicates (which we can resolve an a pro version with IP blocking). Upon sifting through the duplicates, it became clear that there were tons of IP addresses within a number or two of each other.

Are there ways to combat this on the voting side? Like reCAPTCHA or the likes?

Is it possible to get a preview of an image when uploading it for submission? Now you can only see the image name, dimensions and size. Thank you.

I’d like to display the votes count (e.g. in each user’s profile), means the total number an user received on all submissions.

Is this possible with your plugin or can you help with such (useful) feature?

Got a problem, when I click on a submission to see the details or when I update the sort conditions the shortcodes are displaying as shortcode. Its like ajax inserted shortcode are not loaded until I force a page reload manualy. How to bypass this problem ? Already try disable Elementor and I dont have any cache plugin.

Everything is up to date in my installation. The following applies to any browser, and it’s a security risk for my site.

I have the Pro version of Total Contest. The REST API has no documentation and I am not getting a response from your support.

at “Contest” -> “Submissions” -> Submission title, there is {{id}}, which outputs the ID for the respective submission.
Is it possible to display the value of the first text field there instead? Or any other value from the form?

I would like the registration custom fields created with Ultimate Member to pull through in the backend together with the custom fields created with your plugin. Is this possible?

Hi, great plugin, I’m test running the plugin in preparation for a contest. However, the images I submitted are not previewing on the front-end. I can’t see the images submitted

Under the Settings…Contest…Submissiion…Submission preview…I selected Upload Image (upload_image)

Under submission view, what should i select as source and fallback?

I have a translation problem. We have your options to translate from the panel .. but the problem is when I want to translate Prizes or Terms as I can not from the plugin and I can not with Loco Translate.

Rich text format displaying page with html code.
It is not displaying the text in proper format upon submission.
I have complained several times .mailed support but my issue is not resolved. If I have to depend on a third party app why I bought this plugin at all
