]]>I am almost finished importing my images, but now, there are about 100 copies of each image I search for….some with the same file name and some with a variation (like 800wi.jpg)…all in my WordPress media library. Yes, around 100 versions of every photo. Same names.

]]>Alright, finally got the import to process and run. Went through about 5k images, went to check the results and though the images display fine in the post body, when you click for the larger image, some images do not display. In Firefox I receive “The image (full url to image) cannot be displayed because of error”. In chrome, it’s a broken image icon.
I have heard it may be due to bad/wrong extensions. Can’t find any rhyme or reason to it. Curious if you have any thoughts, thank you!
]]>I had a lot of assets on my Typepad account and it all went well but then it seems to stall around 5200. Is there a maximum number of assets to transfer?
