using newspaper theme 6.this is really a nice widget , everything fine but i am wondering 1 thing should be there – TOTAL VISITS. how i can get it or its not in this widget.

I have logged into the website and looking at the dashboard, cannot see a plug-in or widget tab.
I cant see what I’m doing wrong, any help would be appreciated.
Do I need to update the version of WP?

It doesn’t happen that often, but as I recall, it does happen when I’m logged in 2 separate browser pages/browsers to both my WordPress website and my WordPress dashboard or twice to my WordPress website or twice to my WordPress Dashboard.
It’s not a showstopper, but it does generate a server error log entry, so I hope a check can be added to avoid trying to insert a duplicate user IP into the db.

]]>If you need your traffic stats to be more accurate, you should use the Automatic Traffic Filter on the Widget. However, the internet is full of spiders, crawlers and all kind of robots not authenticating themselves as machines. Furthermore, it is very difficult to verify the signature of each and every robot visiting your blog… But there is a pretty good solution to this. I cannot access the root directory of your blog through WordPress install API, so you will have to do the following things by yourself:
1. Create a robots.php file on the root directory of your blog: ie public_html/your-blog/
Paste the following code in it:

echo file_get_contents('robots.txt');
exit;
?>1. Open .htaccess file in the same directory and paste this in it:
RewriteRule robots\.txt robots.php
1. Make sure you have the ‘RewriteEngine On’ clause in place…
1. Make sure you have a robots.txt file, even an empty one, on the root directory
Done! Most of the robots will be filtered out by TSW.
