I’m planning to move from APC to Zend Optimizer+ (aka OPcache), since apparently APC doesn’t really work with PHP 5.4+. Does TOC support using OPcache instead of APC?

Is it possible to exclude the pages in the admin area from using the objects in the object cache? I’d like the admin area to show the most up-to-date information rather than pulling data from a cache that might be slightly out of date.

A very basic question: What is this plugin for? Is it for serving a cached version of my WordPress site to end users? Is it for caching the WordPress backend/admin environment for logged-in users? Or something else?

It’s possible I’m not an advanced enough user to be able to use this plugin, but in any case, for laypeople it would be really helpful to have some more information about its purpose.
