Hello. We use this plugin on our website and recently exceeded our YouTube API quota.
When we applied for increase, YouTube support responded with this email:

Policy #: III.A.1,2(b,c,f) (https://developers.google.com/youtube/terms/developer-policies#a.-api-client-terms-of-use-and-privacy-policies)
Violation:
○ API Client did not provide YouTube’s Terms of Services link.
○ No notification in Privacy Policy saying that the API Client uses YouTube API
Services.
○ No reference/link to Google privacy policy
Proposed Solution: Kindly add the links of YouTube Terms Of Services (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) link in the API Client Terms of Service page, Google Privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) in your Privacy Policy page and also update your Privacy Policy page with the above mentioned points.

Is there a way to add this information to the plugin page on your website?
I assume we should update the privacy policy on our website as well.
Otherwise we will have to implement a custom client (or manual Post creation) on our end.

I migrated my website. Everything works fine, except this plugin. I get the following error:

I tried reinstalling the plugin and deleted the folder, but still the same error…

I just installed the plugin and I cannot find how to set auto-sync for my Youtube playlists. I watched a tutorial on Youtube but the user had auto-sync already set.

I saw a “Turn of auto-sync” button in the playlist settings. But on my website, the auto-sync option does not show.

Hi, I use this plugin on three different fansites that I manage for card games. https://www.agot.cards , https://www.lotr.cards , https://www.l5r.cards.

Somehow, overnight, this plugin has imported 1500+ videos to all three sites. It appears to be about 10 copies of each individual video. Thankfully, I have them set to go to pending, so it hasn’t broken my frontpage, but it’s a lot of back end cleanup to do and I don’t know if it will keep doing this.

Each site is subscribed to import to a different assortment of channels for that particular game. Each site is on a different host (agot.cards = a2, lotr.cards = wpmudev, l5r.cards = 1&1). Each one is running PHP 7.2 and the latest version of WordPress. They all run the same plugins aside from the a2 site using their a2 Optomized W3 cache. I’ve updated no plugins or changed any settings in the last 12 hours or so when it seems that this started occurring.

I’m at a loss for what might be going on here. Any thoughts?

The plugin is working other than its posting the content twice.
I select the “above” for the video placement and its posting the content above the embed video and below it. There should be no content above the video.

This is a really good plugin and truly appreciate it. Just wish I can get this issue resolved. Also it would be nice to have the video displayed where the featured image is.

Hey there. Is there any way to have different playlists I add post videos to different categories on my site? It seems that everything wants to post to the default category so I have to edit each post and push it live manually. It would be nice to use the set it and forget it feature with multi-category support.

hi, i have 3 site which this app was curating videos and been not working on 2 out of the 3 since june, i tried manny thing , new api, reinstaLL , add new channel, even when you do search it dont give any result. Hi, YouTube recently added the option to “Enable privacy-enhanced mode”. This uses a link to https://www.youtube-nocookie.com instead of https://www.youtube.com which apparently complies with the GDPR legislation that comes into force in two days.

Are there any plans to add this as an option in Player Options on the Settings page?

Two quick questions:

– Is it possible to import videos without the description and instead add the video Youtube URL? I tried playing around with the tube_vc_filter_content_import example code, but I am unable to find the parameter for the URL.

– How can I set the default post to be video? The post type is set to video under my general wordpress setting.

Hey, I’m trying to add my youtube channel and used the channel ID because I don’t have a username or channel name yet. But it doesn’t find it. I only get “Sorry, no results matched your search.” The Channel ID is: UCn2tyaFQ29NvSdKgAK7Msug

The plugin on my Website does no longer create thumbnails from YouTube Videos. They do not appear in the media list. Did YouTube Change something? I didn’t Change anything.
